I had a cut and color done today by Cody and he was amazing! The atmosphere of the salon was great and the my hair turned out wonderful!

I came in for a consultation for hair color/​partial highlights. I met with Sarah (Sam) after I had done color myself at home (botch job). Without hesitation she listened to what I was looking for and delivered! She did an awesome job and was very sweet and knowledgeable! I would highly reccomend her services, thanks Sarah!

Always a pleasure to experience the talent of the Aveda stylists, and you can breathe in there, unlike other salons. As I am a big fan of both breathing and not-​crappy haircuts, I’m into this place. My hair still smells good! I should probably shower but don’t want to because my hair smells so good.

What can I say! Yet another fantastic visit to Namaste and fabulous visit and cut with Sam. Per usual, Sam works her magic to make my inherently thin hair look thick and healthy. Sam knows the perfect way to cut and style my hair so it works best for my work and personal life. She is caring and thoughtful, taking her time to focus solely on me during my time with her. The front desk staff were as warm and welcoming as always. I look forward to seeing Sam and all the lovely folks at Namaste in a couple of months!

I love Namaste on Broadway. Maggie is the best esthetician I’ve been to, EVER! She is very friendly and customizes her services to you and your skin. She has become my friend and therapist!
I have also used the salon’s hair services with several stylists over the years. They seem to have high turnover in that respect but all the girls give comparable cuts and color (of high quality). The only bad experience I had was when I was pregnant and my hormones reacted to the toner, turning my hair orange. Even though it was no fault of the stylist, the owner made sure my next several services to correct the color through trial and error were on the house. I couldn’t have asked for a better result.
I look forward to seeing what the new salon has to offer!

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at this salon. I used to go to Kayla and have been going to Armen since she left. They have both been so complimentary about my hair and really take their time.

I love this salon! Usually I simply go to get my hair cut where the best deal is, but I now regularly go to this salon for their wonderful customer service, personable staff, and (most importantly) a fantastic hair cut! The products are wonderful, and my hair has never looked better.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Cody, my stylist at Namaste. He was confidant, very kind, and made me feel comfortable. It was the first time in years that someone has gotten my color exactly right. I will definitely be returning.

I am officially addicted to Aveda! My hair feels so much lighter and healthier after using their products for a few months. The staff here is also very welcoming, warm, and chill :) I LOVE that we have the option of complimentary hot tea (which is DELICIOUS), sodas, or water while we treat ourselves to some spa services. Really though, warm tea and genuine smiles make all the difference!
I am also very enthusiastic about hair and natural beauty. I have been to salons where the staff really doesn’t bother to educate you, or talk to you on a personal level, to help you with your hair regimen. This place is the complete opposite! Every time I go in, I learn something new that will help me achieve the length and texture that I want!
They area also up-​to-​date on their hair trends! I walked out with a beautiful and shiny, yet naturally-​blended highlight job. I am more than satisfied!
Be warned though… That satisfaction ended up costing $ 200+

Came out of my first visit with a HORRIBLE haircut. I had uneven ends, overly warm extremely dark hair color, with very heavy layering that made me look like a 12 year old. I even brought pictures for a color and cut and the stylist just botched it and didn’t listen to anything I had to say.
So I called the next day and they got me in right away fully comped. To say the least Laurel did wonders to fix the color and evened out the ends to make my haircut so I can live with it. I would definitely only trust the experienced stylist in this salon.
Word of wisdom: do not buy the Groupon!

I have been going to Namaste for three years and I love it. I really like Aveda in general and this particular location is fantastic. They always order tea, coffee, or water upon arrival. The stylists are top notch, especially Tommy, who is a magician miracle worker. I admit, I don’t take the best care of my hair. I probably only get it cut every 4 – 5 months. Tommy never judges me for that, he instead makes me feel like I’m part of a make over show and I always walk out looking fabulous. He and the staff at Namaste are great!

I had a bad my hair cut fixed by a great stylist. She gave me exactlly what I asked for!

The Namaste salon on 9^th is tiny but packed with character and thoughtful touches. Walk ins are actually welcomed without the guilt of not making an appointment.
Kim made me feel completly at ease with my new style and color! She is a must if you have time to book. Kim actually listens and then helps you further customize your style with the help of some pintrist inspiration boards!

Went to Namaste with a groupon for highlight and haircut and it was a really good experience. I went in with 4 different pictures and a declaration that I wanted «high class madam blonde» rather than «hooker blonde.» Armen diplomatically teased out which haircut picture I wanted and showed me blonde pics on his phone to make sure that his definition of «high class madam blonde» matched mine.
Let me back up — the salon was clean and relaxing and … it’s nice and mellow on a Sunday afternoon.
During the haircut, had a good conversation with Armen, who is really interesting and personable and a nice guy.
Armen did a great job with the coloring — it looks classy and natural and brighter than what I walked in with. The haircut doesn’t need a lot of styling, and has the extra volume that I asked for. I pointed out my normal problem areas and he checked to see if they needed adjustment and made sure that they fit in well. I even learned some styling tips with the straight iron. I walked out of the salon looking great, and have gotten some compliments in the couple of days since my haircut. Definitely would recommend Armen.

I went here because I had a Groupon and usually LOVE Aveda products & salons. I probably should have known better than getting a Groupon for something as important as my hair, but considering I wanted a straight-​across (1 length) very small trim on my hair and a conditioning treatment, this should have been a great experience. The lady who did my hair was nice enough but a bit of a Debbie-​downer about life and not very positive. When she finished blow-​drying my hair and took my cape off, I think I gave her a bewildered look that said, «are you done?» because she said «that’s it» as she shooed me off to the cash register. I still left her a good tip, but was willing to leave her an almost 100% tip if the service was good because of the price of the Groupon. The cut was just OKAY… to me a great cut leaves your hair feeling amazing at the ends, bouncy, and full of life. I also love when you leave the salon feeling like a million bucks with pretty hair to show off for the rest of the day (since I only get a haircut once every 8 months)! In this case, she left my hair only partially dry and very fluffy… my hair needs to be fully dried and straightened a bit with the flat iron (especially on rainy days like that one). I communicated this to her and she still left it looking terrible. I had to go home & shower after & start over!

This salon is the way to go for any of your cut/​color needs! Their products are plant based so they aren’t harsh on your mane and they smell great too
I just started going to this salon about 8 months ago and Gina is my stylist. She is friendly, personable and very experienced with cut and color. I haven’t had highlights for quiet some time and decided it’s time to go blond. I absolutely love the color job she recently did; it blends very well and my hair feels as soft as it did before coloring it. Gina knows what she’s doing with a pair of shears; she gives my fine hair the fullness and dimension it needs to look fabulous. If you are looking for a new salon or stylist try this place out!!!

This review is for Namaste in general, but it’s mostly for Armen.
I’m generally so intimidated by salons — but the people at Namaste are so welcoming and wonderful. From the moment I walk in, I feel at home. (Well, if I lived in a salon…)
About 6 months ago, fresh off a breakup (like hours after a breakup), I went in to have Armen cut my hair, absolutely determined to get bangs (you know, that wild fresh drastic change you think you need). He sat me down, listened to my story, took a look at my hair and gave me a very gentle, «girl, no, not today» and then proceeded to give me one of the best haircuts of my life. He did tell me that if I decided I wanted bangs, he’d do them for me. I went home, looking fabulous and realized that he’d been spot on with the no bang recommendation.
Since then, he’s cut my hair multiple times. His attention to detail, his skill, and his ability to create something beautiful yet totally classic continue to blow my mind with every cut. Last time, he re-​did my eyebrows in a way he thought would better frame my face… I thought he was nuts when he thinned them out, but he was totally spot on! I trust his opinion and his candor, and I respect his ability to assess and make recommendations while still staying within the customer’s desired direction. I cannot recommend Armen enough and I’m so happy I found the Namaste salon.

What a fantastic visit and experience. Elizabeth was amazing. They were so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Both my daughter and I were treated so well and our hair looks great! We will definitely be back, again and again.

What a SPLENDID experience. I decided to go to Namaste on Broadway because one of my friends recommended a stylist to me. The stylists name: ARMEN… The Amazing (well I added that part… but seriously!). I booked Armen for an all over color, cut, and Aveda contioning treatment.
When I entered the salon I was greeted with a smile by the man at the front desk and offered a beverage. When Armen came out to meet me he took my coat and led me to his chair where we then discussed what I was looking for in style and color, and he assessed my hair condition and provided his professional feedback.
I usually go to the salon prepared (this time I had a full pintrest board of styles and colors), however I think it’s important for a Stylist to be honest and tell you what will work with your hair type/​skin color and what is a «helllll no». Armen was patient and knowledgeable and made me feel perfectly comfortable a REAL PROFESSIONAL!
He mixed up a perfect color for me black with a hue of violet gorgeous, and after the conditioning treatment my hair was shiny as a blackberry! Oh and did I mention the non-​awkward hand massage while the conditoning treatment is working it’s magic.
Armen cut my hair as I requested in a blunt LOB style but with his own twist. I am growing out my bangs so he effortlessly made them less annoying with some bangin’ blending technique. During the proccess he thoughtfully made suggestions for my next color treatment and took into consideration different colors I wanted to try.
THERE WILL DEFINITELY BE A NEXT TIME!
Once my hair was dry and styled he evened up some ends and the result was subtle hues of violet, classic style with a dash of punk, and a smile on my face! (see pic)
