I was introduced this is small ice cream and sweet shop yesterday by my mentee, a teen from Chihuahua. Typical of what they call a palateria in Northern Mexico, we had freses con crema, plus toppings. Mine were pasas(raisins) and his were sprinkles, and chocolate chips. They serve ice cream bars, called«lollipops» or paletas, and mangoliadas. You can get the Mexican equivalent of corn dogs called elotes, or corn in a cup. Clean, colorful, frequented by Spanish speaking locals on South Federal, this is a terrific discovery. Try it. Bring cash, as they do not except tarjetas de credito. solo efectivo. Family run, very friendly, a great place to try your conversational Spanish.

This place is awesome. Great place to satisfy your sweet tooth. It is a traditional Northern Mexican ice cream shop. This place sells mexican ice cream lollipops called«paletas». The also sell my favorite, mangoliadas. They also sell dorinachos(doritos in nacho cheese), and Maxican corn in a cup(called elotes). Everything there is really good. My favorite ice cream parlor in Denver.
