Excellent portions, broth(u can tell it came from hours of stewing bones, tendons, and spices) and tendons. Authentic, with fresh phở rice noodles and Thai basil to accompany. Prices are amazing for the amount of food. Hits the spot every time. Highly recommended.

Really like this place. The ambiance is nice and the Phở is as good as you could wish for. Was a very steady customer of Phở Dui in Thornton and this food ranks with what I consider to be a very good place.

Really good broth and a good staff, sometimes they take a little while but that’s why you have to go to the bar if you want to be in and out quick. Also I watched a jackass customer berate a waiter for not being able to change the channel on the TV in less than 5 minutes. Dude went a live and beyond and the customer was still a jerk. Props to that server and fuck that customer.

This place is perfect for average phở. Its not the best and defineitely not the worst. It’s nothing special but does the trick for when I’m craving phở. The rest of their menu is really good too! I love this place because its super convenient and near my parents house, isnt overly pricy, nice staff and pretty quick. Like I said if you want amazing phở, not the place but its still good!

I ordered a central phở w/grilled chicken to go. Most of the ingredients were skimped and so were the sauces. The central phở broth is supposed to be spicy but looked and tasted like campbell’s chicken noodle soup. It was the most bland, least filling bowl of phở I have ever had in Denver. I am extremely dissapointed.

I have been visiting phở on 6 for the past 3 years and after this last experience… I will not be returning. My takeout order was a complete disaster… Chicken lettuce wraps and 2 rare beef phở’s seems fairly straight forward; however, when I opened my order I was quite unpleased. The lettuce wraps were already assembled leaving the lettuce witty and inedible. On top of that, the basil for my phở was rotten, meat juice spilled all over the contents of the entire box, incredibly large pieces of onion, and barely enough hoisin and Sriracha sauce to pour out of the container. In addition the meat was lacking in quantity and looked, well, «off». Overall, I am incredibly disappointed with the decline of this once good restaurant. If you are looking for quality phở with great service, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I’d recommend phonatics :)

The phở was good as well as the décor. The waitress was aweful. Took 10 minutes to even get acknowledge after I sat down. No refills for my iced tea ever came. This place seems like a couple of white guys wanted to open a phở place in a nice neighborhood. I prefer the hole in the wall where they speak hardly any English.

I have been to Phở on 6th twice now and have really enjoyed my experience. I would say sit at the bar if you’re going to sit anywhere. The bartenders and servers are fun and very welcoming. Their menu includes several excellent dishes. The Vietnamese coffee is excellent and is presented very well. I absolutely love their chili garlic edamame, a great little bar food to munch on while enjoying a cocktail or beer. The central phở with rare beef is my favorite phở. Order with extra noodle. I’ve enjoyed their buns and crab wontons as well. Overall I feel this is a great little spot to come to cure your phở itch. Even better when you’re hungover. Great staff!

I was craving a big bowl of phở on a cold, winter day, and my meal hit the spot. I ordered the central phở with veggies and tofu, and I really liked that the menu offers a spicy broth right off the bat. The food was served up incredibly quickly, and it was filled to the brim. The spicy broth is spicier than your normal variety, but if you’re a heat fiend like me then you’ll likely need to add jalapenos, and more hot sauce to be satisfied. The food was relatively priced, and the portions were big. Service was slightly lacking at the end of the meal, we felt like we were sitting there waiting forever for the opportunity to ask for the check. The restaurant is big, and looked like it would be good for a large group meal, but it was pretty crowded for a Sunday night, so I’m guessing reservations would be necessary.

As much as I enjoy the food, I am consistently underwhelmed by the service. It’s always busy, yet understaffed. During my most recent visit we were left at our table for 15 minutes before the server brought over any water or menus. Drinks from the bar were delivered after our phở was brought to the table. The rare beef in my phở was completely overcooked, leading me to believe that it had sat in the kitchen for quite a while. The appetizer was forgotten till the end of the meal, and was served cold. Finally, no one came by the table at any point during the meal to offer refills or another round of beer.

I have been here numerous times since I moved to Denver because it is the closest Phở to my house but unfortunately I will not be visiting this Phở again. When we arrived yesterday afternoon, we get promptly sat. This was a nice promising start to the visit. We sat down at a small table by the bar. A nice lady dropped two glasses of water at our table. We looked at the menu, we looked at the beers, and we were ready to order everything within five minutes. No one told us they would be right with us, no one offered to get us started with some drinks. Several servers walked by and didn’t say a thing. The part that upset me the most, is that it wasn’t busy. No one was running around. We were some of the only customers. And the fact that several people were cleaning tables instead of greeting us was really upsetting because we waited ten minutes before our server came back to take our order. Ten minutes without a greeting or any kind of interaction with the staff. She checked in on us once after our food arrived. When we were ready to order more drinks no one was around. So we didn’t order another round. Not only that, we waited even longer to get the check. We sat there for a long time with empty dishes waiting for someone to come around to give us the check. And it wasn’t busy. For how slow it was, the service should have been better than average. The food was good. But when you go to a restaurant, you want to get served. You don’t want to have to get up to try and find the people taking care of you. It would have been different if the place was packed. I like the atmosphere of this place but the service needs lots of improvement. The last few times we have been there, the service was the weakest part of the experience. From now on, I rather just make a longer drive than come here. Same with my friends.

Where do I begin… hmmm. I have been going to phở on 6th for over 4 years now and I can assure you that it is NOT because the service is outstanding. The service is shit and will always be shit. I have refrained from saying anything over the past 4 years because I just came to except that the service will always be shit but after what I just experinced with a server named«Piper» I think it is high time I speak my mind. I am a very calm individual and also very generous. Even with bad service I still tip well as my mother is a server and has been for most of her life so I know how challenging it can be. This evening I went for my usual bowl of phở at phở on 6th. As usual there was no host to seat me so I sat myself. «Piper» was not pleased with this because it was her section I sat in. It was obvious she was upset because she looked at me then looked at the other server with a snare on her face. I was eating alone. «Piper» brought 2 glasses of water looked at me with a fake smile and said nothing. Did not ask how I was. Did not ask if I was ready to order. Frankly all I got was an attitude. She came back 5 minutes later and asked me what I wanted with a dry and bitchy tone. At this point I thought I should speak up. So I asked her«do you have a problem with me» Piper replies, and I quote, «you gave me an attitude from the start what kind of phở do you want?» long story short I got up and left. I am leaving this review in hope that some one of importance from phở on 6th will read it and take a serious look at who they are hiring. I have been a loyal customer despite the bad energy and horrible service of phở on 6th. I have generously tipped despite how bad the server or service was. I have religiously been eating at this establishment and I have seen people come and people go. I understand it is difficult to find good help but goddamn show some respect to the customers who respect your establishment enough to dine there. And I have something to say to you Travis. Just because you stuck around as a server and became the«manager» does not give you the rite to throw around your little attitude and walk around the restaurant with your nose up in the air. Its ridiculous that you seem to only hire gay men, and if you do hire any women they have a bitchy attitude that I am sure you find acceptable because it matches your own bitchy attitude. I will no longer be dining at phở on 6th. «Piper» was the straw…

Phở is what phở is. Just my opinion. I’ve read some reviews about how other phở is better and whatnot, but I’ve tried plenty of places around town and can’t say I taste a huge difference between them all. They’re all good. Maybe my phở palette isn’t as refined as other reviewers that visited Vietnam once. That being said, Phở on 6th is a few block away and definitely gets the job done when I’m hankering for a huge bowl of broth with meat and noodles smothered in hoisin and sriracha. Their Thai iced tea is delicious and always satisfies. I do wish they served boba, though. Sometimes you just need a fruity cup of soft balls to top off your meal. I always order the Central phở which is just a broth with more spices added. This is a great neighborhood spot that I hope sticks around.

Eh. It’s ok. It does the job. But don’t rush here if you’re looking for great, authentic phở, espeically since there are so many other great options in Denver. Phở was ok, but broth was a little bland, and they don’t have tripe, tendon, or anything else beyond basic meats. Dumplings were tasty. If you need a quick fix, fine option, but don’t rush here.

I love Phở on 6th. I’ve been going here for my soup for years, and I feel that the quality has remained superior to a lot of Phở joints. I always sit at the bar, so the service is quick and friendly. Starting with a Vietnamese egg roll, I move into the Central Phở which isn’t spicy… it just has different spices than the other option. Last time I visited I went with my boss who can barely handle pepper and she wished she had chosen the central option. I love the plush seats, the décor, the staff. Plus, I find their rare beef to be a better cut than most provide. I have never had a negative experience with this place.

Disclaimer: I live two blocks away. It’s become a go to for easy and fast noodle dishes when we decide not to cook. We usually go on weeknights, and I’ve never seen it close to full on one of those nights. On the contrary, it’s packed on Friday evenings. Maybe Saturdays too? The phở is legit. You can get it spicy, and as someone who appreciates a kick in the pants, I prefer the spicy option. You have the option of adding bean sprouts, jalapeño, limes, etc. as those come on the side. Garnish to your heart’s content! Phở takes the cake during cooler weather. No better way to warm up. I’ve also had the crab cheese wontons. They’re good, but nothing to write home about. Now – the noodle dishes – those are worth writing home. Over and over. I’ve had a few different options, and they rival those of Thai Basil or Swing Thai(my personal favorite). Not to mention, the portion sizes are ginormous. And I eat a lot. I’m not used to having leftovers. Do yourself a favor and get the drunken noodle option. It’s very decently priced. But, I will say the service is never amazing. It’s like the wait staff either doesn’t care or doesn’t know what should be considered«good» service. You’re going to have to wave down your waiter if you need something. Not ideal – but if you’re laid back, it’s not a deal breaker.

I gave Phở on 6th a second chance and am happy to report that my latest visit I was pleasantly surprised! The Phở was excellent and the service was friendly, attentive and prompt.

I have to agree with Richard R. who posted below. I came in looking for some Phở togo. I came in the back door from the parking lot. The set up was weird and no one was there to greet you. Eventually a nice young man took my order and the food came out very quickly. The broth was hot and that’s really all that I wanted since it was cold and rainy out. I did notice that the place is set up oddly and had a crummy feel to it. There was a makeshift kitchen next to the bar that was semi-hidden by a paper wall. What? Why not just have the whole area open or closed. It just doesn’t look right. As for the food, it was ok. My rice noodles were all stuck together by the time I got home. I passed it off thinking that the broth would loosen them up but it really didn’t. I wish I cut them before I put them in my soup. I ordered the rare beef Phở and boy did that meat come rare. When I opened the box, the beef was bleeding all over my noodles and vegetables because the ziplock bag they put it in wasn’t sealed all the way. And the meat, although sliced came in a huge rare ball that I had to pull apart to put in the broth. It was really gross to touch. All in all, the place was ok. I’d like to go back and try again because it’s one of the close spots to my house and I hope that it’s better next time.

Certain factors make this phở spot great and then there are some ok aspects. I would not necessarily seek this place out as being the best but it sure ain’t the worst. I really like the dark, cozy feel of the restaurant itself. There is some really great art like the huge wooden peacock and the over sized statues. The dark hues of the walls and upholstery are very warm and comfy. The dining area is huge so there’s plenty of room. When you get right down to it the phở is just ok. There was nothing special about the broth but it wasn’t inedible either. I wish they had more than just one size because you never know how hungry you might be. Also, it seemed a tad pricey for just ok food. The staff was cool. Not much more I can say about that. This is a total mid-ground review for a mid-level restaurant. It’s ok…

Before my visit, I had never had Phở before so I was a little nervous but was told that this place was the best Phở in Denver so, what the heck, might as well try it! When we arrived on a Wednesday night, they were pretty busy so we did have a bit of a wait. Once we were seated, our server was very prompt and let us order food right away which was great. Funny enough, all four of us ordered the Central Phở Combo and I was impressed! The portions are insanely large and I couldn’t eat all of it so I had leftovers for the next two days. Overall, I enjoyed my visit there and would definitely go back!
