There are some great clay art pieces. I was very impressed with the physical art on display. I found it to be inspirational, as I now want to take a spin on the potters wheel.

Cool little art gallery in the Rhino District. Dorothy and Jonathan are very friendly and always feature an eclectic mix of artwork!

This is a destination gallery for connoisseurs of fine contemporary ceramic art. Carefully curated by ceramicist Jonathan Kaplan, the back room features a wide variety of functional and decorative pieces from artists nationwide, with the front gallery space reserved for rotating exhibits of artists pushing the edges of this medium. During my first visit a few years ago, I was not planning to buy anything but fell in love with a bowl by Peter Saenger. On a recent visit I was tempted by at least half a dozen pieces (and I’m not someone who regularly buys art). Plinth also carries a nice selection of artful mugs and teapots for those who want to sanctify their caffeinated rituals.
