I’ve never thrown out locally made chocolate before. But I bought a few small boxes of mixed chocolates for hostess gifts, and tried one box for myself. It was old, tasteless and thoroughly disappointing. I threw out the rest of the boxes!

Rocky Mountain chocolate factory is awesome! We got a nuts and chocolate covered caramel apple for our 11 miles hike. It was our reward for reaching the top of Hallett Peak(12,713 feet) and we shared it on the cliff. It was very tasty. The caramel was soft and melting in your mouth with nuts and chocolate. Perfect combination! The citrusy of apple some how balanced the sweetness. Very lovely treats! Love it!

Best little candy shop in Denver! I always visit when I come home and pick up treats to take back to California. I love the selection they have of various toffee and truffles. Pretty decent prices too! The candy apples in the window and giant teddy bear sitting outside have been a staple here for years! Glad to see the quality or service hasn’t changed amongst all the upgrades on the 16th St mall. This will be an enjoyable pitstop everytime I’m in town!

It’s your friendly«local» chocolate shop, in the heart of downtown, one block away from school. That’s a dangerous thing for me, but a good thing for them.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory gave me a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Sugar High. I just had a couple of Truffles and they were amazing. I bought them, tucked them away and did not enjoy them until I arrived home. Wish I would have enjoyed them earlier, because I would have gone back for more. I would also like to have one of those Monster Apples, but I truly do not know which one I would choose first. Glad to see they have a website and I can have these delectable treats sent to my home. I’m going to be having one of those Monster Apples soon. I’ll miss the personalized service of a live person, but clicking the keyboard will get me my sweets.

I finally got the chance to visit the famous Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory store recently and what a delight! This is a chocolate store that I have been noticing in various places every time we travel, but since this business started in Colorado, it was fair to visit the store located in one of my favorite spots in Denver: Larimer Square! My boyfriend had the delicious peanut butter cup! And we brought home a box of deliciousness(calorie bombs): truffles.
