This is our go-​to spot for All You Can Eat Wings & Pub Trivia on Wednesday nights.
The «Crack» wing sauce is amazing, sweet & spicy.
Beers are inexpensive and there is great variety on tap.
Plenty of parking (a huge plus this close to downtown).
The Trivia is NOT Geeks Who Drink. They put the questions up on the screens (no straining to hear the trivia jockey) and you get to decide how many points to assign each question depending on your confidence in your answer. LOVE the format.

This is a nice chill place to hang out. It’s a little noisy sometimes for my taste but at the end of the day is a bar.
The food is good, the drinks are also good and the attention is not bad but can be a little better. Sometimes they have just 2 servers for the whole place and it takes just slightly longer than usual.
I would still recommend this place even with those things I pointed out.

Reasonably priced drinks, friendly bartender, Jeni, and pretty girls on the patio. Haven’t tried the food yet. Seems like classic, American bar food. The nutritionist on the patio says she recommends it.

This place is a NO GO we ordered wings, which weren’t fully cooked and cold. Please do not waste your time here. Beyond disgusting

It shouldn’t have to be said, but when a guest sends something back because it’s cold inside, don’t re-​cook part of it and send a much smaller portion back to the guest.
It’s really poor form and you’ve lost a customer forever because of it.

Well if I’m going to leave on a positive note I have to say the fried Mac and cheese was good — but the environment was a mixture of different people– I was thrilled to see they had a pool table– but not impressed with the manners of others — Not sure if it was this night because I happen to be reviewing this on Unilocal,or sad to say some of the Denver natives are placing a bad rep on this establishment? whatever it was, my experience was below my average good time– the bartender however was friendly and his customer service was above most places — thank u Marley —

Excellent bar, bar food, beer, locals! Our fave post-​volleyball beer joint… Extremely classic hot wings and beer + always super friendly staff!

I may be a bit cranky tonight, but what’s up with bartenders bringing their snot nosed crying brats & letting them sit at the bar screaming at the top of their lungs? Shame on the bartenders for doing this & having zero respect for your customers. Double shame on the owners & management for allowing this ridiculous crap to go on. Adiós Roo, you just lost a customer forever.

Great packer bar very good food for a sports bar. Horrible customer service. Let me start by saying most times i have good service last couple not so
1) went with 2 friends ordered the smallest pizza they have & 3 pitches of beer & 12 wings thats all. Got our bill gave the credit card (we were buzzed) next day looked at it and was charged $ 110. No way that was $ 110
1) went the next weekend got there early was not many people there yet. Was sitting at a high top table as we like the location at the one when you first walk in. Very low seats with no support so we swapped them out for unused stools at bar (as we did the prior week no problems) a older grey haired lady told us we couldn’t do that and asked us to put them back. Claiming she couldn’t walk behind us with that style seat there also claiming bar stools must stay at the bar then she asked for my credit card to hold before shed take our order

she went and took 2 bar stools from the bar and set them behind us so people at the booth could sit 2 more people now she really wasent getting through that area
I think they must tip better then me
So what’s their damm policy. Sure hope she isn’t the owner if I find that she is I’ll never go back

Fun place to watch a game if you’re a Packer fan but no game day specials or happy hour??? The wings were good and the servers are pretty friendly but I’m a big fan of specials and this place doesn’t have any. I’ve been here twice now but it may not be worth it to come back. Oh… and don’t order the pizza unless you like a soggy mess.

Fun atmosphere, but food was pretty bad. My sister and I both had burgers and they were dry, over cooked, and had bad flavor. They even had stuff burnt on them from obviously not cleaning the grill often. The buns were hard and stale. Others in our group also had food that was pretty sub par. Probably won’t come back here.

Great place to watch packers game! Staff is so friendly and helpful. Good Bloody Mary’s. The cheese curds and cheese stuffed pretzel bites are amazing appetizers. You have to get the crack wings so delicious! Get there early on game day if you want a table.

I got delivery and it came very cold which pretty much ruined it. Paid extra to replace my fries with a salad but fries came instead, no salad. $ 2 is nothing to cry about and I don’t hate fries so I would have gotten over that but we all know fries are pretty much not edible when they are freezing cold, so it was a negative experience for sure.

I was staying right across the street at a very un-​remarkable LaQuinta inn. I decided to have dinner here on my last night in town.
I was here early (6:00 pm) and the place was lightly crowded. I took a seat, and when the waitress asked what I’d like to drink (there’s a listing of their tap beers on the table) I chose a beer that I hadn’t had before.(Avery Brown Ale) — this was very good! Although most of the reviews mentioned wings favorably, I ordered a pizza — i love thin crust and that’s what this place serves.
The pizza lived up to praise i’ve read about — probably one of the best pizza’s i’ve had all year. I regret that I waited until my last night here to try this place rather than the first. I’ll have to save my chicken wing tasting until my next visit. Since I’m from Wisconsin, I hope this happens during a Packer game

Came in for lunch. We had our 2 dogs with us. We asked if we could sit at the patio, the bar tender/​waitress welcomed us in. We had the burger special and it was delicious!
Food came out promptly. Service was great! Definitely will be back!

Wednesday night… All you can eat wings for $ 8 and trivia. How do you beat that? Get the crack wings for sure!

Roo Bar is the quintessential neighborhood bar; tucked away in a strip mall, filled with regulars, etc. Very friendly service, frosty beverages, good prices, and up-​to-​par bar food. We had some fried cheese curds (how can you go wrong?) and Crack Wings, a sauce comprised of garlic, honey, and potentially actual Crack (TBD). While I didn’t have the jitters the next morning, I did have those wings on my mind for a few days.
Addictions aside, this place does what it does well.

Dope specials every night. Marlon is the best bartender ever! I come back to see him!

Honestly I’m not impressed. I was a little concerned when I saw new castle beer pushed all over their menu and when asked if they carried it the bar tender looked puzzled and said no we don’t carry it.
The service is a complete joke, the bar tender is rude with a «I could care less attitude» which I guess is good since he won’t care when I don’t leave a tip. The menu is ok it’s nothing more than just bar food. I honestly even regret wasting my time and money here… wow I have never said that in a review. Do yourself a favor I you want drinks go elsewhere and if you need food there is a McDonald’s next door.

Why, you ask? Because when I ordered a tasty beer and the bartender told me it was $ 3, I fell off my stool!
Came here to meet a friend from college and her family and had a great time.
Terrfic laid back vibe, excellent service from everyone, great beer, good food… you can’t go wrong.
Here’s an example, my friends had their two kids with them (super adorable, btw) and the waitress had originally brought out four large waters, but then one of the chefs or bartenders (a handsome, bearded, beefy fellow) came out with kids cups with lids and straws saying «You probably want these for the kids». The kids ate all of their food, and the adults tried. The portions were so generous they had to take some home.
I don’t think there were any tourists here (other than me) but I would definitely go back. This is just an all around fun, nice place. I wish there was some place like this in NYC.
