Rue 32 Gallery

I live in San Francisco and stumbled upon this Gallery as they represented an artist I was interested in. With my experience with art dealers being varied, I approached this with the expectation of being «sold to death» but what I found in Kevin and his team was very different. What ensued was not only a friendly but an inquisitive dialogue in which he encouraged me to show him pictures of my space, the colors I was working with and what might be competing artists that I have currently in my place. He then did something that no other dealer has done… he encouraged me to contact the artist as well to see if there was something that had not yet made it to his gallery that would be better suited. In the end, the gallery had the piece that has made it onto my walls and I could not be more pleased with the professionalism and courtesy afforded an out of towner like myself.
And…I received a hand-​written thank you. A truly great experience.
