Salon Plume

This has no bearing to the salon itself, as I understand their business model is to rent out the chairs and the salon itself is called Plume.
I booked a hair appt with Bree and found her from surfing on Instagram. I want to give her more than 2 stars, but this is why I’m not. I’ll try to keep it short and sweet
Assuming that just bc I didn’t live in or around the LA area where she learned how to do the balayage technique doesn’t mean that people from other parts of the country doesn’t know how to do this too. As she was praising herself the entire time about how no one else knows how to do this, when I’ve had this done several times back in Dallas.
I was disappointed overall because I came in wanting heavy highlights all over, and she wanted to achieve this with the balayage technique which I was not opposed to so long she can make it happen. So as I got under the heat to process, I was pleasantly pleased on how light my hair was getting until she put a toner on me that basically turned me darker walking out than I when I walked in. Not to mention green because she used to much ash toner.
I still tipped her 20% as a good client, and wanted to give it a day or 2 as I know sometimes it may take some time to develop. But mind you, I’ve been getting my hair color treated for over 15 years, and if I was not happy with my color the stylist was always opened to having me come back in and getting it so that I was overall satisfied.
So when I reached back out to her to show her how my hair does not look like I recently got heavy highlights, but moreso looks exactly as it did when I first walked in and paid $ 200 when my hair is above shoulder length, she was not even trying to fulfill my needs or at least suggest to give it a week or so and come back and we can go from there. My hair is super dry and brittle from the processing that I not only wasted my time but also the fact that I recently cut my hair much shorter to get rid of the dead ends to now be back to it from unexperienced hair colorists like Bree. Don’t bleach someones hair until it is practically white to just put brown brass back into it.
Yes, I am being hasty because I’m overall unhappy with how she handled the matter as well as just brushed it off. I believe in giving good reviews where credit is due, but in this case, how her services were handled will not lead to referrals from me.

Wow I’m so happy I came in and had my hair done by Alisha, salon has such a great vibe and my hair has never looked better. Alisha is very knowledgeable and I had such a great experience with her. I highly recommend her and this salon. I will continue to have my hair done here and look forward to going back.

Got my hair done by Brittany the day before my 30^th birthday and she was so nice and professional! She is talented and understand exactly what you want. My hair feel and looks good. Thank you!

I love salon Plume & my stylist Maggie. The salon has a cool downtown atmosphere, is very clean & the people are fun. Mostly I love my stylist Maggie. She always listens to what I want & isn’t afraid to be honest & make suggestions if needed. She is awesome & always does a great job! The fees are very reasonable too. If you are looking for a new stylist you can’t go wrong with Maggie.

I needed a quick boost today, so checked out Salon Plume at 5^th and Lincoln. Christena did a great blowout. Love it.

Alisha gave me an updated hair cut. I haven’t had a compliment on my hair in years and now I’m getting compliments daily. Brand new salon, stylists are fun, great atmosphere.

Molly was super nice and gave me a fantastic haircut. The salon is in a cool location and has a neat vibe. If you have a chance go see Molly, she did an amazing job!

After experiencing some hair trauma couple months back I have decided to try a different salon and hope for the boost of confidence though out my hair!
Everything about Salon Plume screamed confidence! The salon was very chic and vintage. It had a welcoming feeling as the windows brought in light! The staffs that I saw were very stylish with amazing hair!
My stylist Bree was amazing she has greeted me outside of the parking lot to help me find a parking space! She greeted me in and we talked and shared how to go about my hair! She took in everything I had to say and she reassured me that she will take great care of my hair!
While getting my hair done, Bree was polite enough to get me a drink! We talked and laughed and I instantly became so comfortable!
~~~~ after the whole process she gave me a beautiful blowout and she has also have me some beachy soft loose curls that I loved! I fell in love with my hair and I completely trust Bree to be the only one who touches my hair! I have never had such an amazing experience with a hair stylist before and I have an appt again in a week to go a little lighter! Bree has not only made my hair shout beautiful but gave myself confidence and such an amazing feeling to let my hair loose!

I have been searching for a hairstylist in Denver for 3 years without success. I came across Alisha at Salon Plume, and have to say… «I love my hair!» Alisha is extremely sweet and easy going. She took extra time to get to know me, what I like, and what I was hoping for. I 100% recommend her and Salon Plume!

I hate paying hundreds of dollars to get my hair done so I usually skip from one Living Social/​Groupon deal to the next. Salon Plume has now made a loyal customer out of me. Their prices are reasonable, the salon is lively and the stylists are well trained and truly care about you. My stylist, Molly, even moved my car (it was raining) since my meter was expiring. Not only did my hair look and feel great, but Molly went out of her way to help me not get a ticket.

I had a great experience at the salon! First the salon itself is super cute and well decorated and in a great spot downtown! Molly cut my hair and did an awesome job giving me exactly what I asked for.
Good prices and great service, I will definitely be back!
