The food is superb! Always cooked fresh and served hot. The best Cactus Chili I’ve had! Counter/​food staff and management very friendly, courteous and always ready to correct any problems with order should this arise. Huge menu selection. Great seafood choices as well. This is one of my favorite eateries in the Denver, NC area.

Decent food. Not what we expected from a «Greek» restaurant but the service was good and she kept on top of our drinks. Overall was a decent place, just don’t think I’ll return.

I literally just walked out of this showmars and will never return. I ordered a shrimp platter special with extra fries instead of coleslaw and literally got the same amount of fries that I would have gotten with coleslaw. On top of that there was barely any shrimp! Not to mention the manager did not even offer an apology for it and couldn’t even open her mouth to speak to me, but instead halfway nodded yes to the amount of food in the box. I will not return. Each time I come to this location, I get less and less food, but order the same exact entrée. Won’t be back.

THE OTHER REVIEWS OF THIS PLACE ARE FROM EMPLOYEES — DISREGARD THEM IT IS A COMMON PRACTICE TO LOAD UP BOGUS POSITIVE REVIEWS
Really? Seriously? These other reviews are suspect as far as I’m concerned, because nobody in Charlotte would ever travel up here to go to this place. methinks employees are being asked to review it. Can’t prove that so I’ll move on.
The food is marginal at best. Unless the best food the other reviewers have ever had comes in a bucket, these reviews are way out of bounds. The fact that my wife and I went here once and STILL don’t even think about going back, given the pitifully few decent places to eat in Denver should tell you something.
It’s not horrible… it’s just not good.

I have enjoyed going to the various Showmars throughout the region. It was nice to be able to drop into this location in Denver, after a late night trip to get expensive gas… and things from other local stores. On this trip… I was thinking simple. Fish sandwich, fries and ice-​tea, lemonade combination. The store was only minutes from closing. And they prepared food for 4 in a matter of minutes. And did not miss anything from the order. That is a plus for that late in the evening. I may have to stop here again while I am up in the Denver area!!!

Stopped by this location 15 minutes before closing time (9 p.m.). I expected the staff to be perturbed but that was not the case. They were all friendly and attentive. Ordering was a snap, as always at any Showmars, and the order arrived quickly. I typically order the calabash shrimp. This evening, I ordered a side of the summer fresh veggies. WOW! The zucchini, squash, and carrots were divine! I didn’t notice any spices, perhaps it was what they cooked them in. I don’t know but that is my new favorite dish at Showmars!

A cross between a fast food and a sit down restaurant they call it causal dining fast. We have never had a bad meal here. The food is good and priced right. Ther service is attentive. They have really good burgers and I can recommend the Gourmet Burger. A 6oz sirloin patty topped with grilled onions, american cheese, lettuce and tomato served on a kaiser roll. Its one of those juicy, messy 6 napkin burgers and its really good. Just $ 6.50 with a side and a drink. My wife loves the homemade chicken salad pita and says its very good.
If you want a good sit down meal at almost fast food prices, then give Showmars a try.
