I come here several times per week, primarily to write and work, and I’ve come to love the friendly waitstaff and the familiar space, warm and eclectic. It’s more bohemian than what you’d find in LoDo, but this is a plus in my book: think more Montmartre or Marais than Champs-Élysées, thankfully!

My husband and I had our wedding at Sienna! It was fabulous. Every person, from the owner to the people that worked that night, made it perfect. They took care of every detail. Gorgeous setting, exceptional service. Our guests loved the evening as well. We just wanted to show our appreciation to the owner and staff for how well we were taken care of that evening, as well as let others know what an amazing place it was for a truly special event.

Came here on an early Wednesday evening in April for a date. It has a great, cozy atmosphere, and everything on the menu is very reasonably priced for a wine bar. I’ll probably make this a regular date night spot.

I walked in, not knowing what to expect but the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I had a beer and ordered two of their small plates thinking I would go have a real dinner later. Much to my surprise, the pairing of beer suggested by my tender, with the small plates ended up a very satisfying meal. And always a welcome surprise, the meal was quite reasonably priced. It’s a lovely addition to the Congress Park neighborhood!

I hope this review is used to improve the service at Sienna… not deter people from going. Last night was my first night to try this little neighborhood spot. We had a group of 6 people who were looking to relax over a glass of wine and have a few small plates. When we first walked in, we all immediately commented on how cute the restaurant was(well, the 4 girls made the comments, the guys didn’t say much :)). The atmosphere is very inviting and makes you want to sit and talk to your girlfriends all day. Once we found a spot, it took about 15 minutes for the waitress to acknowledge us. Not the best first impression, but she was the only one working so totally understandable. However, once she did come to take our drink order, we were met with a total attitude. So bad that we were all looking around at each other thinking«is this a joke?». One of the girls in the group was trying to ask the waitress about the alcohol content of the Belgium Ale that was on HH(she was wanting something that wasn’t super high in alcohol)… the waitress gave her a look like she was a complete idiot and said«so what exactly are you asking me?». It came across so rude that my friend kindly responded saying she would just have a glass of wine instead. From then on, every time she came to the table she was out of breath and rushing us through our orders. One girl ordered a ratatouille before everyone else ordered their food due to her hunger. Several minutes later the rest of the table decided to place an order for food. Now I understand this is a small plates restaurant… but that does not mean we cannot each order our own thing, am I right? My friend(the girl who was already very rudely spoken to about the beer) began to order a ratatouille as well– the waitress stated someone had already ordered that. Another girl at the table jumped in and politely stated that we were each going to be ordering our own meal(rather than everyone splitting several things… remember, we have boys at the table. they like to eat!) — the waitress again got an attitude and asked«ok so how many ratatouilles then?». We responded saying we did not know as we were each ordering our own food… again, it was just very rude behavior with a complete attitude. Once we were done ordering, the waitress walked over to the bar area where she was over heard yelling and cussing about our table. Really? One of the guys was so bothered by it all that he suggested asking her exactly what we had done to make her so angry(we decided against it). Towards the end of the meal, we did notice her trying to be a bit nicer(my guess is she overheard us saying how uncomfortable we were). However, it was too little too late. The boys both stated they would never be returning to the restaurant(despite their LOVE for the chicken au gratin… which was spectacular). Us girls have all agreed to give it another shot but really hope we are not given the same waitress. Or at least hoping her overall attitude will have improved. Like I said, I do not want to deter people from visiting this adorable restaurant. The food and atmosphere were all great… and the happy hour price was even better. But I do hope that the staff is expected to treat their customers with kindness. If the food and prices had not been so wonderful, I would have given 1 star.

Visited Denver this week and this joint was highly recommended. What a great place to relax, chat, kill time, drink wine and take little bites of cheese with warm slices of baguettes. It is a cozy, comfortable, romantic place to take your date or meet up with friends on a lazy afternoon. The furnishings were random but really works together. My friend and i ordered the cheese plate paired with their recommended fine red wine. Service is good; staff are friendly and knowledgeable; Menu is reasonably priced. I’ll be back to try more plates. Highly recommended!!! This place will definitely be in my itinerary every time i’m in Denver.

Great place to have a glass of wine, or in my case, a wine flight. Simple, yet delicious food choices and warm experience with great service. Definitely my new favorite place even though it has been around for years!

Great Sunday Happy Hour with five dollar glasses of great wine. The cheese plate is amazing and the bread served with it is warm and freshly baked. Great ambience that lets you catch up with friends.

A really cute place to meet for a girls’ night out(or just to catch up), or a romantic place to grab a drink with your date. I’ve come here a few times for a glass of wine and a bite or two. I can highly recommend the cheese plate and the toasted/warmed baguettes. There’s the bar, which is nice if you come by yourself or with one other. A few tables where you can play some board games(which are in a cabinet/bookshelf by the door), and a cute outdoor patio with romantic lighting.

Absolutely enjoyed this wine bar. It’s not just for couples, you can bring your family too. Can’t wait to go back there.

Went there tonight for a private party. Loved it! Their selection of Argentinean wines won me over within the first perusal of the menu. Their small plates were spot on delicious! A lovely, cozy ambiance and friendly service. Definitely a new addition to our date night roster after evenings at the DMNS.

I was excited to try this place, as it always seems to be hopping when I walk by. To start, the place has really cool décor. The bar has a fun starry night theme motif, and the service was great. They had fun music and a very relaxing atmosphere. Scott, the bartender, was super friendly, attentive, and helped me find a good drink option. The homemade white sangria was on happy hour special. I tried a sample first. It’s a Pinot Grigio-based sangria with peach and citrus flavors. It was perfectly refreshing and not too sweet. I can’t comment on the food, but the sangria was awesome. I look forward to coming back for a glass of wine in the future.

Best kept secret off Broadway! Very private and relaxing atmosphere. The owners are fantastic they are always on top of everything. Just recently added a great fire pit in the patio area.

Went here for drinks and had a great time. The decorations were impressive and created a fun environment. Bartenders were friendly and drinks were tastey. Didn’t try the food so can’t comment there. It seemed like a nice place to go at the beginning or end of a night out… or a Monday… Wine not?

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, Sienna’s is a wonderful wine bar and place to grab a bite to eat. Claire C and I have been in a few times since we moved in down the street and have at least one of their flights each time. Personally, I prefer the sparkling myself but the red and white flights were fun as well. The décor feels comfortable and warm, a little but bohemian, the kind of place that reminds me of a college woman’s apartment. Each time we have been by all the people working have been female, friendly and knowledgeable. I think this is a great place for a date. Grab a glass or two and chat before heading over to Glaze for dessert and then walking around taking in all the beautiful homes. I’m so happy to have a place like this right down the street!

So perfect! I was looking for a place open late with some food where I could hang out with my boyfriend after he got off work. We found this place on Unilocal and we were amazed. We each had a different wine flight(I had the sparkling wines and he had the summer reds). They were both a great way to try some wines without spending too much money, it was only about $ 15 for each. We also tried the beet humus and the baked brie and both were amazing. The chairs and couches inside are inviting and we also really enjoyed the music playing, such a silly little thing to enjoy but it really made a difference. I wish I lived in the neighborhood so I could frequent this place. The service was great too. I can’t say enough good things about this place!

I really dig this wine bar. It has a really welcoming feel, and although it’s a smaller space, it’s very comfortable. The wine list is varied, and there are definitely some reasonably priced glasses and bottles. They also do five dollars off bottles on Monday nights! My friend got a cheese plate on our visit, and it was a good amount of cheese for the price. The service was super friendly as well. I can definitely see myself being a regular here.

I love this place. It’s like hanging out in a comfortable living room with great service. The food is great despite their lack of a legit kitchen. I love their wine flights. It’s just a great neighborhood hang out… now to move to this neighborhood…

I’ve been meaning to drop by Sienna Wine Bar ever since I moved to Denver over 2 years ago. It oozes charm from the curb and when I finally made my way in with my mom while she was in town for the weekend, Sienna did not disappoint. The interior has very welcoming and warm seating areas, and the lighting is dim enough to be cozy, but not so low that you are straining to see. Even the bathrooms were adorable! The wine selection is expansive and I ended up getting a carmenere that hit the spot. My mom sampled several, including a dessert wine which she really liked. It was a great place for a night cap and conversation. We didn’t end up getting anything to eat besides some marcona almonds to munch on, but I’ll look forward to tasting some small plates with my wine next time I’m in.
