I came here with a large party(over 20) and the staff at Vinue was more than accommodating.(We did have a reservation.) They were appropriately staffed, and our server took the time to explain the concept and process to each guest. The wine was excellent(such a fun concept), but I was hoping for more from the menu. I will definitely be back!

this place is wonderful; the service is great, and the food and drinks are delicious. We got here early and Rebecca the owner offered us champagne while we waited for our seats. An amazing way to spend your time waiting! We ordered the Chicken drummetes(the owners recipe), the cheese plate and a lobster bisque. Everything was prompt and delicious! The cheese plate was extremely generous with a variety of different cheeses paired with jams and fruits . The wine selection was vast and the self service was so fun! We loved this place and can’t wait to go back!

Really outstanding food and I love the wine dispensers. The waitstaff was extremely knowledgeable about all the wines and gave great food suggestions(the blackened center cut tenderloin flatbread was to die for… and I don’t usually like steak or blue cheese all that much)! I would give it five stars but for the fact that we didn’t see very much of our friendly and helpful waiter. We had to keep craning our necks to try to find him, and finally had to just get up and ask for things a few times. Not sure if they were understaffed? Other than that, really fantastic place and a great concept.

This is a good place for happy hour and/or just hanging out with the girlfriend after an afternoon of shopping. The French chicken drummettes were really good, better than I thought actually. We ordered a couple glasses of Artai blend priorat Spain and a Cheese plate. That seems like a lot of food but it wasn’t. The atmosphere was comfortable and the lounge nicely put together.

Awesome wine, food and service. Been to many wine bars all over the world and this one can compete.

How have I not heard of this place before this past weekend? My friend and I stumbled upon it while looking for a place to eat after 10 pm in Cherry Creek North(not that easy!). We walked in and were like: «where are we?» What a cool concept! The menus light up, which is what every dark-lit restaurant and bar needs to invest in so people can actually read! I love red wine, but I cannot drink a lot, so the taster size option on the dispensers is perfect! It is a great place to go with a friend or date and taste new wines. It is super fun to get to go up and press the cool buttons. It makes the evening more interesting than just sitting and ordering wine. We also got the Prosciutto Tomato Flatbread, the Lobster Mac and Cheese, and the cheese plate. The Flatbread and the cheese plate were delicious and perfect pairings for wine, while the lobster mac and cheese wasn’t my favorite(but since Mizuna, nobody can beat that Lobster Mac and Cheese so it really is fair for me to ever have another one other than Mizuna’s). They also were playing a cool mix of EDM music, which always goes well with wine, in my opinion! I will definitely be back.

Great new place for me in Cherry Creek. I should/would give it five stars but I always want to save that last star. Five star place definitely ! Great place for that quite night out or for me a comfy bar area. By your card and taste the World of wine. I have owned a wine distribution company so I do know something of what I am writing — the wine selection here is superb. This is place where you walk in and if your a foodie/wine person(I am) you wished you owned the place. I had a variety of tasty wines in all price ranges. They have conveniently organized their kiosk in various areas based on price. You can purchase a quarter cup to a full glass. Outstanding. My friend and I shared the short ribs. Yum ! And with a suggested pairing of a spicy Chilean wine. Yum ! Yum ! Great place– you will not regret your visit. In fact you may become a new regular like me — see you there ! (Oh ! Did I mention the great looking and professional staff. Sorry, Five Star group)

Excellent selection of wine, food was delicious, and great customer service. Our favorite appetizer was the Tuna Ceviche. We will definitely be back!

I was expecting more when I chose to come here with a friend tonight. We both liked the décor of the place – it was very cute and girly, but not obnoxious. The waiter was nice, but there was a point that he was describing something and neither of us got a word he said, not because he had accent but because he was talking very quietly and not enunciating. I ordered lobster mac and cheese, which I thought sounded so good. I was disappointed. The amount you’re given is pathetic for the $ 13 price tag and considering the lobster was overcooked and tough/rubbery. Overall, I wasn’t impressed and I was sad because I was hoping it would be good since my mom lives very close and we love wine. I would probably go back for the wine bar part, but not order any food.

Wonderful selection of wine! However, service wasn’t too great. My friend and I were seated, but nobody came to our table for fifteen minutes. Apparently, we were forgotten. But, we told a waiter standing nearby and someone came right away. She apologized, and service was great from there. This was my third time at vinue, and it’s been the only time service wasn’t great. But overall, it’s a worthy add to Friday night adventures.

Atmosphere: mehh. a little to modern for me. Food: so delicious! my boyfriend and I shared the braised short ribs, mac and cheese, and prosciutto and tomato flatbread. everything was super tasty. Drinks: woohoo! I was a little nervous when the waitress described the«wine card» and roam-around-and-taste method, however she let us know that we could also have a traditional restaurant experience — awesome. I had a sweet white wine and my boyfriend opted for an old-fashioned. he claims the old-fashioned was the best he’s ever had at a restaurant(in other words, strong) and my wine was exactly what I was looking for. the waitress was also very generous with her servings. Service: awesome! everyone was super friendly and accommodating. the hesitation I had with the atmosphere quickly evaporated when the waitress welcomed us and immediately made us laugh. great time! will definitely be back!

We had a Junior League event here this week and it was a great venue. They had a few tables/couches put together for us. The lobster mac & cheese was delicious and the perfect small portion. The wine selection is great. We didn’t use the high tech system to sample a wide variety of wines, but will be back to do so. It was a nice atmosphere, not too noisy and the staff was extremely friendly. Look forward to going back and trying more wines!

I love this place! Small & dark, but comfortable. Good eats and lots of wines to choose from. Such a great idea! I wish we had more in town! I’ve never needed a reservation, but have always made one just in case. I’d advise the same. It would suck to find parking in Cherry Creek, walk in and it’s too busy and be forced to go somewhere else on the fly. They’re in OpenTable, so create a reservation and get some points! Nostrovia!

I hadn’t found the wine culture in Denver to be booming quite yet, as my buddies and I hadn’t yet experienced an amazing wine selection at any eatery or wine bar. The options here at Vinue aren’t too stellar, but the self-serve concept is pretty unique to the city. The architecture of the establishment is attractive, much like the trendy feel of the place as a whole. For a change up and larger emphasis on tasting wine, you would do well to come here. I had a good time with a buddy of mine, as we wanted a breather from all of the microbrews in the beer-laden culture of Denver.

This was another place that had been on the list of places to try… productive weekend! Anyway, we stopped in after dinner at Second Home because evidently, we needed more wine… surprise, surprise! I can’t speak to the food since we just came from dinner, so this is all about the drinks. For starters, I was thankful we’d been there with others who had been here before because I had someone to show me the ropes on how the whole on tap thing works. I’m not entirely sure how I feel about it(see pros vs. cons below), but I guess what I liked the most was that there were an abundance of wines and they had the varietal I was looking for. With regards to the«on tap» experience — here’s how I feel: Pros — you get to walk around, be social, and pay for small tastes before buying a whole glass. There are tasting notes in front of the bottles, and they have ample whites, reds, and premium wines available. Cons — isn’t this what servers are supposed to do? I can’t say that I asked the server for recommendations, but I have the sneaking suspicion they wouldn’t have much to say as it’s a very«go do it yourself» type of atmosphere. I’m still torn, but I think it’s a place I’ll come back to. Mostly because I love vino and they have a bunch of it.

Great happy hour. Great selection of wines. and great space. Despite being in the dreaded Cherry Creek(I hate the traffic, I hate the parking, etc), I’ve not had a difficult time finding parking around this cute place. It’s also very conveniently located upstairs from Machete, so you can go from a marg to a nice glass of wine. They do kind of close down early-ish. Not sure if that’s just my perception b/c I’m such a night owl or what, but there’ve been a couple times where my friends and I have shut down the place. Still, whether you’re a wine connoisseur or a newbie, you’ll find something to your palate here!

Imagine my rating at a 3.5. I am going to go with a 4 because they gave my mom a free glass of wine for her birthday. My younger brother and I took my mother here for happy hour for her birthday. We sat outside until it started to pour and the waitress waved us in. We told her the shower would be over in two minutes but she still waved us in. The rain was over in minutes and there are umbrella so it wasn’t a huge issue. We picked this place for the patio and good happy hour prices. The patio is small yet lovely. The inside is weird. Bad décor, but I can get over that easily. The happy hour prices are great! The happy hour food portions are small but still yummy. It is my mom’s biggest pet peeve when a server doesn’t ask you if you want another drink before happy hour ends. Our server did not do this. All in all, good happy hour and would return if I can sit on the patio.

This place is great. The food is great and obviously they have a lot of good wines to drink, though I’ve never done the sampling route. This place has the best mac and cheese I’ve ever had. Everything else I’ve had has been completely delicious too. I also love that I got Veuve by the glass.
