Heading back to LA and stopped in to have some breakfast with the team before heading to the airport. Had the Denver omelette with special potatoes and it was delicious. Great service staff and the place is nice and quiet.

$ 12.90 for tasty Eggs Benedict with potatoes, beverage, and tax. Great value, quick preparation, efficient and friendly service.

I got the staked ranchero breakfast and my girlfriend got the huevos rancheros. The food was decently good, but the service needs improvement, and the coffee was burnt. They were understaffed and overly busy.

This place is fine. Large portions, reasonably good omelettes, a little greasy. The staff was acceptably prompt and polite. It definitely gets the job done, I’ve just also definitely had much more flavorful omelettes and scrambles, and the house potatoes were just ok. Not particularly spicy or interesting. Which kind of describes everything. I’d go back if it was convenient and there were no other options.

This place serves solid breakfast fare. Nothing especially mind blowing from what I experienced(Denver omelette, coffee, house potatoes) but quite satisfactory and satisfying. I’m in out-of-towner and staying at the Sheraton a few steps away, and this is a much better option for breakfast or brunch than any of the hotel restaurants. will be back again tomorrow!

Service is brutal… The restaurant was busy but we were not greeted by the waiter for 20 minutes. Did not get coffee for another 10 minutes and had to flag down the waiter to order food. The food is fine, nothing amazing but it did the job. Disappointed and would not be back

The service was okay, but the food was awful. The eggs were very greasy and the potatoes were almost unedible. My boyfriend felt the same way abouthis food as well. The waitress never asked how our food was, I’m guessing she knew it wasn’t very good.

The food was decent. The restaurant had 14 tables so the service was slow. I was not feeling the customer service experience from my server. However all and all there was no complaints.

Came here for brunch before our flight, and I really wanted to try a great brunch place because brunch is serious business for me. We had another place in mind, but that place had an hour wait so decided to try this place. When we came here, the star ratings were higher(solid 4) which is what brought us in. If you really enjoy Denny’s, you’ll really enjoy this place. There is nothing special or fancy – it’s just regular breakfast food in an old unupdated room full of tables. Seriously mehhhhhhhh. Only gave this place one more star(for a total of a whopping 3 stars!) for the service. Our server was super dope.

The Delectable Egg is a great old-school establishment for the early morning dining needs of Denver’s bustling business center, and little known fact, HOME of the DENVEROMELETTE! This is where business folk come to have business breakfast. Service is fast, friendly, and efficient. Coffee pots on your table, water glasses filled to the rim. Breakfast options are diverse and consistent– you will always get the same dish! I am a fan of the Denver Omelette, the Western Omelette and the Green Goddess. If you order the Denver omelette, you will get a cute little flag toothpick on it proclaiming its originality. If you are from out of town, this is a great option! If you are from here, you’ve been here and have a favorite.

it’s hard to give a review on this one time because i think my waitress wasnt the best(actually i know she wasnt). I ordered coffee and waited forever, I had to flag another server down to get it. I guess i didnt realize they were brewing me my own little pot but she could have told me that. Instead i ordered my coffee and for 15 minutes never saw her again. Same with food. I ordered the breakfast burrito. It was tasty but wasn’t very hot when she brought it. seemed like it sat under a heat lamp for a while. So…what can i say. Everyone else seemed to get their food quickly. Plates were all clean(even mine by the way because the food tasted very good) but a star deduction because of my personal experience.

The food was ok, and the service was so good and the server so nice, I would try this again just for the comfortable environment.

If you are staying at a hotel nearby this a great place to get a protein breakfast. They open fairly early which is also a plus for an east coaster in town craving a non Starbucks breakfast and the prices are better than hotel breakfasts. I had the Mexicana omelet and the Denver omelet on my 2 visits and my husband got the green chile chorizo Benny. I preferred the Denver omelet to the Mexicana. Though I love avocado with eggs, I learned I prefer it not cooked in an omelet. The potatoes that come with eggs are slightly salted and cooked perfectly. There are lots of other options to if you are not an egg person. Service was quick on both of our visits. I wouldn’t list this as a favorite breakfast place of mine but it filled me up and I would eat here again if in the area.

This place was amazing! I was on vacation and was looking for a place within walking distance to eat some breakfast! Needless to say, the Delectable Egg is amazing and deserves way higher stars then what it already has! Service was great, the food was absolutely delicious, one of the best I’ve ever had! Lots and lots of options. I got the«green eggs & ham» which was TODIEFOR. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Great service and delicious food!

It was day two in Colorado and we found this place which really looked hopeful. I had a good night’s sleep, was trying to adjust to the two hour time zone difference. I got up and worked out early and so I had worked up an appetite. The Delectable Egg was busy and the wait was not unreasonable given the number of people seated and those waiting to dine. There is a nice coffee bar in the waiting area with some very unique coffee combos and such you can order while you wait. We were greeted and everyone was very pleasant. I liked that right out the gate. Once seated by the hostess we waited a very long time for someone to greet our table. We had talked over our selections and sat our menus down and still no one had come to the table to take a drink order. Server after server walked pass our table not even looking in our direction so we were not sure if they were assigned to our table or not. We got so annoyed at this point, we were just getting up to leave when our server came over, apologetic for the wait. From that point forward the service improved tremendously. We ordered our food and it came out at the expected timeframe, piping hot. I had a veggie and sausage omelette, and to this day, I cannot tell you where the hell that sausage was hiding! I mean I think I saw a piece of a sausage crumb, but I am not really sure. I tried with each bite to concentrate and see if I tasted some sausage but could not quite identify the flavor of sausage. My son says Mom look, I think that’s your sausage, pointing witih his fork, my other son looked too, he said naw that is not sausage. It was something to see… oh but wait, that’s the problem, I didn’t see it! I kid you not. My oldest son had another breakfast burrito and he enjoyed it, everyone else said their breakfast was just eh, wouldn’t come back it was just okay. I would be willing to give them another try. Just next time whatever I get, I will just order sausage links on the side, that way there will be no question whether they exist or not. Everything was fresh, and cooked very well. They even thanked us for coming and wished us a great day so… I mean, how can you be mad at that. I should have ordered the eggs benedict but I didn’t because I felt like I would be cheating on Brigs in Raleigh. If you been to Brigs you KNOW the Eggs Benedict is the absolute best every visit. Can’t wait to go when I get back home!

Tasty breakfast if you’re staying in the area. I went to the Delectable Egg for breakfast every day that I was in Denver. The breakfast potatoes are great. I also tried the French toast, the Belgian waffle, and biscuits and gravy. The sausage gravy is really delicious with a lot of sage flavor. A cup is just enough for two people to share. They also serve a nice fruit cup. Produce is pretty nice in Denver. I also like the carafe of coffee they bring to the table. This location is very convenient if you’re staying at the Sheraton downtown. Better than room service if you can handle going downstairs and walking across the street. Four stars.

On a quiet Sunday morning my wife and I visited The Delectable Egg. The dining room lacks theme and character. Your basic breakfast food can be found here but done well. Ordered the Denver omelette with a side of pancakes. Wife had the portobello eggs Benedict. We both were satisfied with the taste and overall meal. A personal coffee pot on the table is worth a «star» by itself. Eat here for your usual breakfast food and coffee at your fingertips.

This restaruant is located very close to my office, so I stop in here sometimes when I have extra time for breakfast. It’s an overall OK experience, although there’s really nothing spectacular about the food or service. This morning, I was seated at a table that didn’t have ketchup, so I had to wait for my server to come back to request a bottle of ketchup. Also, if you dine alone, they will serve you a small pot of coffee. I had 3 ½ cups — about 24 oz or so. I wouldn’t have minded more coffee, but I was running short on time, and I didn’t ask for a refill on my pot.

Fantastic breakfast place. I love the eggs Benedict here! Great homemade food, super friendly staff, eat here! Can get crowded here so I recommend getting in early. Side note — they are about to get a liquor license, so if you like mimosas get ready to be happy :-)

It can be easy to miss the Delectable Egg, as I feel like it’s somewhat hidden deep in the heart of downtown Denver. But it’s a great alternative to your downtown hotel’s continental breakfast. I grabbed a bite to eat here not long before leaving for the airport. There was a wait for the table but it wasn’t bad(it was around 20 minutes). The place was, as expected, very busy late on a Sunday morning. Although the dining area is basically one large room, it didn’t sound as loud or seem as hectic as it looked from the waiting area. The food was good. I ordered their french toast with a side of bacon. It did its job. Ultimately, the Delectable Egg is a good place to get brunch if you’re sick of your hotel’s offerings. Without knowing Denver well, this is a solid, convenient option for people visiting downtown.
