The Mix A Salon

This has got to be one of the best-​kept secrets in hair salons in Denver. Behind the unassuming storefront across the street from Kaladi’s Coffee is a genius hair stylist, Joseph Lee. In this one-​man (for now) shop, Joseph works his magic. I have been going to him for close to 10 years now and he is just brilliant with cut and color. And he is a truly fantastic human being as well! I have recommended him to many, many people and everyone has been so pleased with his work!

I still wholeheartedly recommend Joseph and The Mix! He is no-​longer a one-​man show, and has moved into a larger, light, modern space next door to his old shop, where he employs several other stylists — whom I haven’t tried personally, because I will not let anyone other than Joseph touch my hair! However, their clients all walk out looking fabulous, so don’t be afraid to give them a try. After 11 years, Joseph only gets better and better and I continue recommend him as a wonderful, thoughtful stylist and a stellar human being!
