Ordered pasta to go the other night and it was AMAZING. Fresh, real ingredients. The little Parmesan bread balls they included blew me away. Melt in your mouth delicious. Can’t wait to go back and dine-in next time! *I got the Eggplant Rollatine and my husband got the pasta sampler. The stuffed shells were UNbelievable and I almost stole all of his, haha.

Really good pizza and a cute restaurant. Decent draft beer selection for a pizza pub. Much calmer than the rest of Tennyson. We will definitely be back!

Such a great place! I recently moved near here and it’s so great waking up and going to get the best lasagna I’ve had in Denver! The staff is always very nice and its a very nice place inside. 5 stars definitely.

Great New York style pizza. This is my go to pizza delivery place in the highlands. They never fail. Oh and the veggie salad with the slices of provolone… yum!

I ordered delivery last Saturday during the Broncos game. We were told it would be approximately 45 minutes and were very pleased when the order came in less than 30 minutes. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, gluten free pizza with extra cheese and sauce and an order of wings. Everything was hot, delicious and as detailed on the menu. The wings were slightly spicy and sweet. There were mostly wings but a few drums. The pepperoni pizza had the right amount of sauce, cheese and meat. The gluten free pizza did have plenty of sauce and cheese. I would definitely try this restaurant to go dine in or order from again when I’m in north Denver. Yum yum pizza pub.

Some of the best pizza I’ve had in the area! The pricing is a little wonky at times(if you sub out one topping for another — it isn’t like it just takes the place of the first topping, they try to charge you extra for it unless you mention something) and is on the higher side in general. But overall the pizza itself is extremely delicious. I like this place way more than Tony P’s, Right Coast and Hops and Pie.

Nothing like NY pizza. The crust was burned, hard, and too thick. You couldn’t even fold it like a NY pizza. The Canadian bacon was microscopic like a bacon bit. The cheese was flavorless. Waste of $$ & calories

Just checked this place out. Really good. Fellow East Coast refugees will find this gem the fix needed for NY style pizza. No, this ain’t Brooklyn but good enough for this guy. Service on point, nice people running the place, good beer choices and the friggin pizza was great! Fresh toppings, fresh cheese. No heat lamp deficit… well done. I shall return.

Closest to a slice from a NYC place Ive found, nice and thin, greasy and wonderful. Cheap too.

They use a conveyor belt oven. HOLYCRAP! A conveyor oven? Are we kidding here? Not one respectable pizza place in New York uses a conveyor oven. How dare these guys call themselves a New York Pizzeria. If you like Dominos, Papa Johns and Little Ceasars… you’ll love this place. If you like authentic New York style neopolitan pizza, then avoid this place and try Pizza Alley right down the road.

I’ve been here several times. Their pizza is the closest to NY pizza I’ve found in Denver. The garlic knots are amazing! Basic beer and wines, I don’t love the selection and usually am left wanting in that area. Cute historical building in the neighborhood. If you want basic NY pizza-this is your place.

I read all of the reviews… I agree with most, and strongly disagree with some. I have been here several times and I will be very simple and direct in this review. The owners are the nicest people, and go out of their way to make everybody happy. I initially started talking to them because they were sitting next to me eating. Not sure who wouldn’t think these guys are friendly? They do need a little better drink list, but they have a great selection, so if you know what you would like, this is not an issue. Their pizza is fantastic, I have tried everything around town, and though there are some great places, none rival this place.(especially the value) the slices are large, it seems to be a quarter of a pizza! Love this place!

Definitely pricey. When your lemonade is more than a slice of pizza, you might want to reevaluate your menu pricing. Slices were a good size, but really greasy, puddling kind of greasy. Nice location and space, but needs some attention to menu or it won’t be around long.

I really like this place a lot. Great sausage and meatballs no matter what you combine it with. The pasta yo-yo is rediculously good.

Just went here for the first time and had a couple of slices and they were delicious! Sat at the bar, my sister and I each had a beer. I think they have a nice selection of good beer(not domestic crap). The service was friendly and prompt. I even brought a couple of slices home to my husband, who is from NY. He loved it! I will be back!

I have been to this place 4 or 5 times now every time has been a bad experience… First few times the service was awful and the food not great it took 45 minutes to get my 2 slices. The beer list is week as well as the personalities of the people that work there. Today I ate there again the garlic nots came out in less then 2 minutes wow! Oh wait they were left over from the previous shift, they weren’t good. Also my slice and I’m no idiot I know good food. It was re heated also from last night… nice re heated burnt ring on the crust where the fresh cheese had been cooked twice… Overall this place sucks and I had hoped it would be good being so close to my home, oh well good luck to you NY pizza reheat pub I won’t be back!

I came across this local pizza restaurant on Unilocal.I ordered two veggie calzones and they were good however they are way over priced. I paid $ 25 total. One of the calzones had only two veggies inside and it costed me 11.75. They don’t take American Express and when I went to pick up the food it was dead… only 3 people in the entire restaurant, not a good sign. I only saw one server and no one was tending the bar. I won’t be coming back.

Brought to my attention by a friend, we stopped in for lunch on a weekday to find the place completely empty, as in, we were the only customers. It was a little bit past the lunch hour, but I was still surprised to see the dining room so bereft of patrons. I can really see this as more of a dinner place. Anyway, the service was snappy and we had menus and drinks in a jiffy. The building is a pleasant retro fit of an older brick building. A narrow strip of patio seating along the sidewalk presents an al fresco option. Two floor layers with a raised bar area separated by walls create a cozy feel and good angles. There is a game room, rounding out this family oriented, neighborhood tavern. We split a pie and I had the house dinner salad. The salad was typical fare(greens mix, cabbage and carrots for color, Roma tomato slices and red onion) but fresh and presented properly. Dressing was served on the side. The pie is a Neapolitan style(thin crust) but piled high with toppings. We had a combination suggested on the menu and it was presented as advertised. The correct amounts of sauce and cheese complemented a sturdy crust and the distribution of toppings was good. All around a good experience and I would suggest this place to anyone who lives nearby.

A great location and a charming building. Brick interior with large windows. We went on a Saturday afternoon, which was about half full, which was perfect. The pizza was good at a reasonable price. The wings appetizer was good, too. It was just a pleasant atmosphere for a weekend brunch. We’ll be back.

We dined last night. Nice interior, could have been a great hang out. Service was friendly. The food left something to be desired. The carbonara was not at all a traditional carbonara– the sauce came out pink?(I think Parisi carbonara is hands down, the best) My husbands pasta was bland too. No flavors popping out. The appetizer was ok– the mixed basket. Place was empty and food took a long time. Not sure how long this place will last with so many other great restaurants near by.
