Nope. We went here because nothing else was open as late. The music was WAY to loud for our liking and the food was just above palatable. There were 5 people in our party so we had a good variety of dishes and no one was satisfied. Greasy, over cooked, under cooked, cold, dry — these were the words most of used to describe our meal: /

I really wanted to like this place because it looks so cool inside: Big TVs everywhere, spacious bar, outdoor seating, mechanical bull — -one would think this place would be awesome… But it’s not. I think management is relying too much on the celebrity factor that’ll bring people in and not caring enough about their employees performance to bring people back. I’ll start out by saying the best person in this place was the hostess. She was super friendly, smiling and welcomed us immediately. It was a Sunday, early afternoon, there were 3 people at the bar where we decided to sit for a lunch, apps and drinks. Our bartender, Libby, was rude as she could be. I don’t think this girl knows how to smile. She rolled her eyes when taking our order, took forever with our draft beers, and ignored us the rest of the time. We were there an hour and a half, sitting at the bar with our empty beer glasses, half empty plates, and she didn’t come around… No water, nothing. You can’t even focus on food because this girl put such as bad taste in your mouth. I can tell you that they have interesting burger choices, nachos were awesome and wings were soggy despite us emphasizing the order of having them extra crispy. Our plan was to have many beers while we waited 2hrs for the Broncos game to start but it took so long to get her attention and she was so foul, we just closed out(she rolled her eyes again when we asked for the check) and went somewhere else to drink and watch the game. Not surprisingly, someone from the tables came up to the bar yelling, losing their cool, because he apparently waited 40min for service in an empty restaurant. Heed the Unilocal reviews and skip this place. I feel bad for Toby Keith because it’s his name slathered all over and these terrible people aren’t respecting their customers nor the industry.

We dropped in during the Northfield Wine Fest for some lunch. Our group was pretty big(10), but we thought their huge dining area could accommodate us. They have LOTS of room. The food was ok, and perhaps it was just that we were such a large group, but everything came out cold — even when it shouldn’t have been cold. That said, the chicken fried chicken was pretty good, even luke warm. The salads looked pretty tasty as well. I will give them another shot if I’m in the neighborhood.

We came in on a Saturday afternoon and we were told there was a 30 minute wait. No big deal, so we took a seat at the front waiting area. A couple in our group went to the bathroom and came back saying the place was practically empty and there shouldn’t be a 30 min wait(we were the only ones waiting to be seated). We kept seeing groups of people leaving and no one else was arriving, so we figured it was almost time to be seated. One of the many hostesses just standing at the front(all looking bored and disinterested) came up to us to tell us it’s now a 45 minute wait. Frustrated, we asked if we could sit at the bar and we were told that we could, but it wouldn’t be any faster for service for food. Ultimately, we left and went to another restaurant in the shopping area. Maybe there’s an issue with the kitchen… we’ll never know. Would have liked to have known why it was such a long wait, but based on the other reviews here, this isn’t the first time. Can’t comment on the food, of course, but I’d try one of the many other places in this area before here.

Usually hesitate going to a namesake location but thought I would give it a try. Shame on me for not listening to my instincts. From the time I walked in to after being served I was never greeted, welcomed or barely acknowledged. Is it petty to expect even that much in the name of service? Even a Red Robin pays more attention to their clientele! Food was sent sent back three times because it was not cooked through. Asked to see with the manager to advise her of the issues to which the waitress responded«she won’t come out!» What? I quit you Toby Keith!!!

Disappointing, considering I was super excited to be in Denver and see the bar/grill here. First time here and I was highly disappointed. Food was alright, but nothing to brag about. Service was beyond horrible. And it wasn’t even busy. Server seemed to be unable to juggle more than 2 tables at a time. Whole experience from time we were seated to leaving was almost 2 hours. Apps and main plates took too long to come out. Server neglected several tables at a time and seemed scrambled to do everything. Won’t be back to this one. Hopefully other locations are better than this one. Giving it two stars because the food was at least decent and hot when it came out, but like I said previously… Nothing to write home about.

I’ve been here twice and didn’t like it. I’ve been on Friday and Saturday, both nights… dead! It stays empty and you’ll see why. Nobody dances! Which is weird because they usually have a live band which is pretty dope! Anyway, we decided to sit down and eat since it had more of a restaurant/bar feel than a dance/bar feel(if you know what I mean). Ordered food that took over 30 min. The bartender forgot about the food, then when we reminded him, he brought it out and it was cold… he didn’t even admit he fucked up. He didn’t even TRY to toss it in the microwave lol. I gave the place a try a couple of times and I think I’ll pass on this specific establishment. Stampede? Grizzly Rose? Here I come!

I like his music but I hate this bar! We’d been looking forward to trying this place but I should have paid attention to the poor Unilocal ratings and went to the many better rated restaurants in the area. What a waste of money. The steak was very poor quality and tough. For the first time in my life I left a steak on the table.(Unheard of for this guy.) The onion rings were also chewy and the two I pushed through didn’t even have onion in them. My wives burger was burnt and had to be a frozen patty. Finally, sweet tea: How can you wreck sweet tea? It was the weakest I’ve ever had and tasted like sugar water. What a let down this place was.

I hate his music. I hate his hat. I hate his beard. And now I hate his bar. I came with a convention group on a Tuesday. We were the only people in the place-warning! «I’ll have a Rebel IPA» «We’re out» «Okay. I’ll have a Fat Tire» «Out» “Sam Adams” «We don’t even carry that» «Why is it on your menu? Okay, a bottle of Coors Light.» «We’re out» «How is a bar in Denver Colorado out of Coors Light?» Twenty minutes later, no beer no glass of water. Waitresses and bar tenders were walking around like they’d been munching on quaaludes, making and delivering one drink at a time. Toby, if I ever meet you I’ll have another reason to stick a boot in your ass.

We must have come here at a bad time because there was a twenty minute wait and the place was 25% full while the waitresses were standing around bored so I assume there was something going on in the kitchen. They later told us there were two huge parties there so that could have been the cause of the long wait. After being seated, we waited around another 20 minutes before the food came out. I got the free patriot burger since it was my first time there and my wife got the fried macaroni. The food was good, well cooked and the fries were seasoned with something that I could not figure out, it was almost a tangy taste along with the typical s&p that every restaurant uses. Our waitress was nice, she made sure we were taken care of. I feel like the kitchen may need some more manning, I used to cook on the weekends at a restaurant when I was in high school and we would have parties of 40 – 50 come in two to three times per night and we only had 3 guys in the kitchen and handled things fine.

My husband and another couple came here to eat and have a drink before a movie. We ordered the appetizer platter, nachos, fries, and a chicken sandwich. It took 40 minutes to get our food. Fine. When the food got to us, it was cold. Not fine. we sent two of the plates back but kept the other two which were warmer than the rest. Food was okay… just ok bar food. We ordered drinks. Here’s where it gets interesting. Our friend ordered a beer and at the bottom of his beer were a bunch of small pieces of glass… Like the size of glitter so they were barely noticeable. It wasn’t until our friend said«I think there’s sand in my beer or something» that I grabbed his cup and examined and sure as shit there were glass pieces! We asked for the manager, Rhonda, who took 15 minutes to come by, and explained the situation. Her solution? Buy us a round. When I asked her why our friend was paying anything when he swallowed several pieces of glass, she told me that I needed to «calm down»… I’m not an expert but isn’t that the last thing you want to tell a customer? Especially if the situation is not at that level? To conclude the story she ended up paying for our entire ticket. The way the situation was handled is disappointing. We will NEVER be back again. Zero stars.

The place is almost empty. First, we were told that there was a 25 minute wait(we could see into the restaurant and 75% of the tables were empty). Next, we asked if we could sit at the empty bar — hostess said we could. Bartender tried to turn us away, but let us sit and order. 30 — 45 mins after we ordered, bartender told us the kitchen was really backed up and it’d be a long wait. Once is one time too many here. …and I just overheard the bartender telling the folks next to us that the kitchen is closed for the next 45 mins.

Service was good but lacked. Drink went empty, food took its time. Did welcome us to a free desert for the wait. Everything we ordered was fantastic. I had the chicken Mac and Cheese. My date had the fried bologna sandwich. Cookie n cream for desert.

Didn’t think I would get salmonella as a side option with my Chicken Mac and Cheese, but I sure did. One would think with comments about the lack of courtesy or enthusiasm of the wait staff a GM would surly catch flack from the guest relations account I’ve seen reply to some of the poor reviews, but clearly not. All in all I have to say that as a first time, and most certainly my last time, this place sucks. Vomiting(literally for 15 minutes) from the terrible food surely solidifies my distaste and any chance of a return.

I will be up-front, we came in on a Wednesday evening with a group of 16. We arrived around 530p and the place was pretty empty. The plan was to socialize, eat dinner, and have a few drinks. They have a nice selection of drinks, a full menu, and the place is huge with all kinds of room. We were bummed the mechanical bull was on the fritz. First round of drinks came out without a hitch and then everything imploded. Like I said before, the place was pretty empty, but only one waitress was taking care of our group. Yes, a group of 16, but this certainly can’t be the first group of 16 they have encountered. All of us ordered dinner from their full menu. Entrées took 90 minutes to be served. It took a total of 15 minutes for everyone to be served their meals and incorrect items to be corrected. My friend had to ask the waitress if the shrimp were suppose to be «cocktail». He was promptly served 10 replacement, microwaved, shrimp. My advice, ask for help with a larger group. If you want to put a «full menu» out there, do it right or not at all, do bar food instead. Waiting 1.5 hrs for bad food is unacceptable, hell, I don’t wait that long for really good food!

Came here after work with some co-workers. We were missing our company holiday party because we were travelling, and decided to have our own ‘party’. We arrived in time for happy hour(it ends at 7pm) and were able to take advantage of the happy hour menu! I ordered fried pickles(really good — and only $ 3.5), guacamole w/chips(ok — $ 4) and a few beers(large mason jars for $ 8). If it were just for the food, I’d give this place 4 stars — it’s tasty American bar food, but where things go downhill is service. While everyone was friendly when we were being served, the problem was it was hard to even get the attention of a server several times through the evening. After our first round of drinks, we went over to the pool table and intended to keep drinking but servers were no where to to be found when we were ready to order more drinks. We asked a front door person if they could send someone our way, he left and then came back to tell us there were no servers servicing the pool area, while this isn’t a huge issue(the bar was literally a few feet away), we did notice another group in the pool area had been served earlier while playing. After pool, we went back out to the main room to listen to the live band — this was fun — but again we had trouble flagging down servers! In the end, we all all had a good time, just wish the service had been better. We didn’t even go on a busy evening, can’t imagine what things would be if it were.

Before I go any further, I would like to mention that Country music is one of my least favorite types of music(yea, go ahead, boo me all you want) — and usually the only thing I can steerotypically associate Country music is hot woman in short shorts and flannel tops. Last Friday, vacation started. I told a select few of my employees I needed a drink– but I had no idea what the hell was around to do so(believe it or not, I have been in DVR for 3 months and until Friday– I had not been to a bar with the sole purpose to drink). One of them kept shouting«Let’s go to Toby Keith’s!». I didn’t understand– like we were going to his house? Blind faith kicked in, and I followed them there. I realized it was right across the way from Bass Pro(how have I not seen it before?!). When I entered, I thought to myself, «those stereotypes of women in short shorts in country music establishments are true” — as we were greeted by 5 – 6 of them. It was time to head straight to the bar. One of my first impressions was how big and open the place was– looked like there was plenty of space for some dancin. Also, one of my employees noted to me that there was a large guitar on the ceiling and the actual bar was shaped like one too– gave me memories of the old Hard Rock Café in Orlando(as the building was shaped like a guitar– then it was bulldozed to be rebuilt to look like the Colosseum in Rome). Enough of the chit chat– I was ready to drink. I told the bartender I wanted the largest Coors Light they had– and they served it in a Mason jar. Score! 1 turned to 2, then more employees showed up. Time to party. One of my employees ordered a fried bologna sandwich, and gave me half. Not too bad– good food to soak up booze. Coors Light turned to Maker’s Mark, then who knows what happened after that. Long story short– I broke the seal and kept going to the bathroom. But that is totally ok– since the bathrooms were large, clean, and visually appealing. Right outside of the bathrooms are arcades and stuff as well for nice diversions. From the restrooms you can really tell how big the place is in general. Long story short– the place is great to get some drinks– if you are hungry, check out the Happy Hour offerings, and if they are not appealing– there are plenty of food options around. But hey, if you want a solid place to get a cold one after work, this place is worth a shot. I have no idea how much the drinks cost, but I ended up picking up everyone’s tab– hell they bust their ass for me, I think it was a small token of appreciation!

I think places like this where a major music star lends a name and maybe a couple fave dishes to the menu should have a quality control head checking all the locations as to if the food is up to par. Your name is backing it Toby… I mean c’mon man. I arrived around 4:45 into DIA and my cousin suggested we check this place out for a bite and some drinks. Firstly I thought it was closed as you saw no patrons from the window and what appeared to be a attached store had empty bins in the window. Amazingly you open the door and walk a bit in and voila… gals in daisy dukes. I headed into that bare store and everything ‘left’ with the Toby brand on it was 50% off. Hmmm ok well what a find. To pick up some Colorado souvenirs, or stuff from Colorado by a famous country star for 50% off. I loaded up on the red white and blue guitar shaped bottle openers and t-shirts. There were still some great looking baseball hats and belts also. I asked the gal ringing me up why they were closing out the store portion of the restaurant and she had no idea. Now for the food. They do have a happy hour and plenty of other bar events. If they are successful or not is beyond me but I happed in around 5:30 and had a $ 6 mason jar of domestic. My cousin also and the other a mixed drink. They had sandwiches like grilled chicken and pulled pork with beer battered fried and coleslaw. Me, I am a ‘when in Rome’ person and you bet since it was one of Toby’s fave’s, was willing to try the fried bologna sandwich. Hence my mind got the better of me to go for a flat iron steak dish with a side of okra. Well folks think should have gone with that bologna. Aweful steak, overcooked and that is a sin in Colorado really for any restaurant if you can’t cook it to the customers order. The okra was a bigger disappointment. Breaded and fried. No seasoning, not even a bit of salt within the breading. It was like eating a gooey shoelace. And for the estimate earnings of the zip code where located, a bit pricey for less than up to par food. The drinks however, WOW. My cousin and I had regular beers but my cousin’s vodka tonics were HUGE. Either that is a olé country hospitality norm or the bartender is giving the house away. It was served in a pint glass and guess with the bang for your buck on the Toby Keith branded merchandise at 50% and the huge drinks, overlooking my dinner mishaps was quite easy. Would be back and choose more wisely on the food side. They can’t screw up a burger or fries so maybe that is the way to go hence I bet this place is a blast on the weekend eves with some live music.
