Tasted the waffle cake at Park Hill’s Street Fair yesterday. Excellent! I had the pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting(not too much, just enough). It was delicious and everyone should try it.

By far the best Belgian waffles I have had outside Belgium. I had the bananas foster waffle, hello! Carmalized sugar on top and whipped cream, incredible! We also ordered dirt waffles for the kids — crumbled oreos and gummy worms, fun for the kids. Strawberry shortcake was excellent too coming from my mother-in-law from Holland. I can’t wait to get back and try other kinds.

I was feeling Unilocal peer pressure to give 5 stars, but then I thought what I did once I purchased my waffle cake. I instagrammed it, phoned a friend to brag, directed other friends to the food truck, and considered driving to Longmont on Saturday for their 5−8pm food truck rallies. Yeah… that deserves 5 stars. I was pleasantly surprised to discover Longmont’s Art Walk happening last Friday. It had a close to ending time vibe as I wandered through the street until I accidentally found the food trucks. Waffles! Bacon on waffles! The sign priced these as $ 6, though they rang up as $ 5.50. Thank goodness more trucks are using the Square app for credit card purchases. I ordered the waffle topped with goat cheese, bacon, and madhava Colorado honey. This waffle was generously topped with deliciously tart goat cheese, loads of crunchy bacon, and tasty honey. Wow! I was also informed they used imported Belgian sugar inside their waffle batter. It will melt on top, glazing the waffle, but the batter will protect the sugar inside leaving you crunchy sugary surprises.

Absolutely amazing! I moved away from Denver about a year ago and miss Waffle Cakes. I used to go to the Cherry Creek farmers market specifically for a waffle! YUM! Amazing price and amazing product.

I have been wanting to have Waffles from Waffle Cakes. So when the opportunity arises, and we knew from their Facebook they will be at Stapleton Farmers Market to Waffle Cakes we went. Our recent visit was October 14th2012. There is always a line to queue to purchase the waffles from Waffle Cakes. I opt for the Nutella Strawberry Waffles. My waffle purchase cost $ 5.50. When I receive my Waffle order, YES, the waffle is hot but not so hot you cant eat it, its more like luke warmed. Maybe its because due to the weather that morning a little chilly and my waffle turned«cold» fast. Yes, its just a Waffle Cake, topped with Strawberry as fruit cut into slices and spread with Nutella. My order also came with Pink Colored Whipped Cream and drizzled with Chocolate Sauce. Yes, Its LOADED with SUGAR. Maybe due to the«luke-warmed waffle» it was just An-OKAY Waffle in my books. You can also purchased Frozen Six Pack Waffles from Waffle Cakes. Hmm if I could purchase those Frozen Six Pack Waffles and baked it at home maybe my review might differ. @157/2012

When they’re good, they’re real good. What do I mean by that? When you get a waffle fresh off the grill and it’s been cooked all the way through, it is absolutely amazing. I’ve had some reheated ones; not nearly as great. Can they just make all of them fresh when ordered? I understand it takes more time, but I’m willing to wait an extra 5, 10, 15 mins for the good stuff. Now that you’ve shown me how great they can taste, I won’t settle for anything less. Also, I’ve had ones that are still doughy on the inside. I would think they’d all be on a timer and they know exactly how many minutes is takes to cook one all the way through. Moving on to the toppings. I am not a fan of whipped cream unless it’s fresh, and there’s is. You know that weird feeling you get after eating store-bought whipped cream from a can? You don’t get that here. I see some complaints from other reviewers about waffle cakes being too sweet and dislike of the sugar crystals. Yes, they are sweet. If you don’t like sweets, then stay away. But I wouldn’t say they are unbearably sweet as you often find many cupcakes to be. Just pair it with one of their espresso drinks! I actually like the sugar crystals, especially when the waffle’s hot off the grill. Some are soft, some are melted. It’s an interesting texture. Their menu has so many options, which I actually find to be overwhelming. I would prefer a condensed menu that rotates through all the options. Sometimes it’s nice to not know what to expect and be pleasantly surprised.

I love the new Waffle Van… this thing is the 2012 equivalent to the A-Team van… meaning it’s bad ass and you don’t mess with them… at no time did I see a big black guy with chains and a mohawk, but I’m still not going to mess with the WAFFLEMASTERS at this place! Just like Barry… these guys are going to keep on Waffling!

I get one one at the CC farmers market every chance I get. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth, these are just the right mix of salty /sweet. They are delicious!

Discovered these guys last summer at Cherry Creek Farmer’s Market. Instant addiction! I like the plain ones the best but my kids are crazy about all of the ones with tons of stuff piled onto them. The waffles themselves are very different from most other american deserts and aren’t anything like the waffles you’d make at home. Light and sweet without being overpowering, fluffy and just the right amount crispy and the texture is just right, sightly chewy but not sticky on your tongue. Can’t wait to eat my way through all their flavors!

First time trying out the truck at the CC Farmers Market, menu looked awesome. Unfortunately not awesome. Maybe it was an off day for them or maybe it was because we got there at the end of the day? Shouldn’t matter if it was the end of the day though when I’m paying almost $ 10 for a Taro milk tea and a waffle. Taro boba, sans boba, awful. I know I was taking a chance buying Taro milk tea from a waffle truck, but really it was the worst I’ve ever had. Slightly buttery tasting, sickly sweet, very little Taro flavor. Had 3 sips and tossed it. Maple Bacon Waffle. Very small, and again, hampered by it’s sickly sweetness. I picked a good 10 – 15 large sugar crystals out of the already ridiculously sweet maple sauce. I’m assuming the sugar crystals were supposed to melt onto the waffle during cooking process, making the outside of the waffle sweet and crispy. Instead I annoyingly picked them out and had a small tower of sugar crystals on the side of my plate. Bacon was dry, not horrible tasting as it’s bacon, but at $ 5.50 I’d expect more. The waffle was ok by itself, but it was hard to really determine with the all the above mentioned. I’m not made of money and honestly this felt like a total waste of almost $ 10 for me. Also, if this is their modus operandi, don’t take your kid here unless you want them jacked up on sugar for the next 72 hours.

LEGIT. I used to live in NYC and follow(stalk) the waffle truck there. It was one of the things I missed the most upon moving out here(second to bagels). Last weekend, I went to the Cherry Creek Farmer’s Market and discovered this little gem. A-MAZING. I’m so excited to be able to get my Belgian waffle fix in Denver! Their presentation is fantastic, the people who run it are super friendly, and they are delicious. They’re getting an actual truck next week, so I’m super pumped to follow yet another waffle truck around!

Waffle Cakes is the the best thing to happen to the Cherry Creek Farmer’s market. My daughter and I regularly show up on Saturdays specifically for waffle cakes. They are quite possibly the most delicious treats ever made. It’s worth driving around looking for a parking spot, and waiting in line. The people that run it are friendly and especially sweet to my daughter. Thank you Waffle Cakes for making our Saturdays even better.

OMG! YUM! TWAA!(These Waffles Are Awesome)! Waffle Cakes has a wonderful selection of sweet & savory waffle creations that will please most anyone! The Waffle Cake alone is sinfully good. The Waffle Cake with whipped cream is even better! Then throw on apples, nuts, & gorgonzola and you’re done for! My wife & I had been craving them during the farmers market off season but recently acquired some frozen Waffle Cakes. What a treat! The kids don’t know that we have them, and they WILLNOT know because we will not be sharing them. I know, it’s selfish, but when something is that good, you HAVE to hide it from the kids if you don’t want it gone in a matter of minutes!!!

Holy shiz! I finally got to try a waffle from Waffle Cakes at this past Farmer’s Market! Being with the boyfriend, I tend to not be so strict with what I eat… so of course when we saw the waffle creations, we HAD to get some. We went with the pumpkin pie. It is waffle + pumpkin pie filling + whipped cream = heaven. I wolfed that thing down and wished we had gotten another one to go!

Incredibly tasty treat! I love the unique, light, crunchiness with a soft waffle middle. The selection of toppings is incredible! I had the strawberry bacon gorgonzola and my next trip will be for a whoopie waffle.

If a waffle and a pastry had a baby and glazed it with sugar and butter, it would be a Waffle Cake. All strange baby imagery aside, Waffle Cakes are simply divine. I had one for the first time last week at the Cherry Creek Famers’ Market and was extremely pleased with my purchase. While you can choose from a multitude of topped Waffle Cakes for $ 5 – ranging from apple gorgonzola to red velvet cheesecake – I went for the plain version($ 3), which is handed to you in a piece of wax paper. As I munched on my delicious purchase while wandering the market, suddenly the sun seemed brighter, the breeze cooler, the people friendlier and the world infinitely better. And I seemed fatter, but I DIDN’T EVENCARE! The question is not will I eat a Waffle Cake again, but how often can I eat one without outgrowing all my clothes…
