I really love coming to this restaurant! Everything I have had here is delicious. A bonus is after 8 specific apps are ½ price! I have had their solvaki sub, french onion soup, burrito, spinach dip, mozz sticks, boneless wings, and more. Everything I have tried I really liked. I also looked into booking my bridal shower here — the banquet manager was VERY nice. I ended up picking another place mainly because of the décor being more bright. The banquet room here is very dark and dark colors — but beautiful. I would recommend this place for a great dinner, great apps, great get together place!

Just awful… Really wanted a beef souvlaki. Imagine my surprise when the«beef» came out as lamb(gyro). The waitress said that it’s the only other type they make.(Other than chicken). Menu says beef. She offered to make us different salads, vut didnt want to wait another 30 minutes. No milkshake supplies on hand, soda was flat. Appetizer was said half price till midnight. Ordered about 1145. Paid full price. Only went there because they are open 24⁄7. Waitress was nice. Reminded me why I don’t usually eat here.

Had a great breakfast/lunch there on Saturday morning with 22 people after my brother’s funeral mass. Had a separate area, great food and great service at a reasonable price!

They get 5 stars because I don’t have any reason to give them less. Everything was as I expected(And usually is). I’m not rating them against anyone else, so it doesn’t imply that I like them more than a place I give less stars to, but when it comes to meeting my expectations, they do that. It’s a diner, and at the same time, is very well kept, with a nice ambiance and great service. They have a bar, but the place us not a bar, so I don’t expect to have the best drinking experience here(though the drinks do tend to be delicious). The trouble is that delicious isn’t usually what I go for when I drink. The couple times I have had drinks here, I wasn’t impressed, but they are good for social/sensible drinking. They do half-price apps at the bar between 8pm and midnight. It’s food, but as with many beacon offers, not necessarily the best food; just a good price. For dining though(hence the label-diner), they do what they do well. Nice portion sizes, delicious food, great price, great service. I just had breakfast with my 17 mo old daughter, and Lindsay, our server, was very accommodating. She actually even remembered our daughter’s name, and it’s been a while since we’ve been here. I shared a breakfast veggie bowl with the little one, and still packed up half of it. Great flavors, though I would have appreciated cheese. I also would have passed on the potatoes, but that was all on me because I didn’t pay attention to the menu, as my daughter was in the midst of a stage 3 hangry meltdown. Overall great experience though. I’ll be back.

Not many things piss me off more than a restaurant that has an upscale casual façade and elegant curb appeal that delivers horrible quality or mediocre food. Poser restaurants are the worst. Instead of investing thousands of dollars in making your place look good, how about investing that money, or even some of that money in better ingredients and better cooks? Serving a processed formed chicken patty as a fried chicken sandwich only happens in school cafeterias(that’s a HUGE problem in and of itself and also needs to stop, but that’s neither here nor there.) So, a word of warning, if you order the Ranch Chicken Sandwich or whatever it’s formally called, don’t. Just don’t. Cause it will come with a nostalgically familiar formed chicken patty you would load with ketchup in high school cause it has no taste and is repulsive. Also, if you think to ask to substitute a real chicken breast? Don’t. Cause I did that as well for a remake and I got a grilled chicken sandwich instead cause they don’t have a fried chicken sandwich on the menu. Because it’s rocket science on a cooks behalf to freshly fry a chicken breast. The server was incredible though so kudos to her for being very accommodating. Now, other things may be better on the menu, but I’m going to go ahead and assume that most of the things aren’t.

Review of the banquet hall: Here right now for a Sweet 16 birthday party. The manager just came in and turned off the main sound system in the room! Apparently the hostess paid for a bigger room(tips included) ahead of time. At the last minute they got moved into a smaller room with a dance floor so obviously these kids are dancing/singing and having a good time. Since the old people in the next room that we got moved out of were complaining the manager walks in and turns the sound system off. The music is so quiet now that no one can even dance anymore and the kids are all just sitting around. Wth? Not to mention there is an employee in here just standing around while our hostess clears our plates from dinner! I have to say I expected alot more. Sweet 16 parties are really important to young girls! Its a shame they had to ruin hers with bad service. The bar did have great service though. That’s why they get 2 stars instead of one.

Just really immature and non professional service. It is a beautiful restaurant, but the food is mediocre. The burger I got was cooked how I wanted it and was tasty! But remember to order fries with it or the burger will come alone. Alright breakfast but how could you mess breakfast up… You’re surrounded by yummy restaurants so don’t waste your time here!

I’ve been coming here the past few weeks for breakfast and I must say, I’ve never left disappointed. The food is a step above your standard diner affair, and it’s much less expensive. The staff is friendly and has always gone out of their way to satisfy my requests, no matter how strange they might be. They have a similar breakfast setup to Denny’s Build your own slam. I had French toast, bacon, eggs, sausage, and home fries for $ 6, and it was delicious. All told I spent $ 15 for two people to eat a large amount of delicious food and coffee. If you’re looking for a place to eat that is a step above those all night chain restaurants that won’t break the bank, check this place out.

Did you ever see the movie Pretty Woman? No? Well, uhm, me neither… But, people have told me it’s a movie about a man falling in love with a hooker and making an attempt to change her into a member of higher class society. As weird as this may be but that’s how I felt about the Forestview on my first trip to it. On the outside there are all these dainty lights dotting the perimeter and a fancy street sign on Transit, and when you step inside and you see all this sumptuous décor: expensive wallpaper, gas fireplace in the waiting area and more pretty lights. All the windows are super over sized and framed with dark wood. The bar area has all these beautiful pendant lights hanging around. All of these things in conjunction create a very pleasant appeal, but then as you sit there and admire this appeal you come to the sudden realization that, well, you’re eating in a diner. A fancy-looking diner, but just a diner. Speaking in general terms, the food here reflects that of a typical diner. Nothing so good it knocks your socks off or that bad that it knocks your socks back on(You know, if you weren’t wearing socks. Knocking socks back on is a thing, ok?). Well, there was one glaring exception… I tried the Forestview Cheese Steak pizza, the Patty Melt, the Stuffed Banana Peppers and was able to steal a small amount of the half chicken diner. Forestview Cheese Steak: The menu claims it has«Philly steak» topping the pizza. There was nothing Philadelphia-esque about that steak, so they lie. But as fortune would find it it was better than«Philly steak». It was actual thick-cut beef tips adorning this pizza! I very happy mistake. RECOMMENDATION: Yes. The Patty Melt: This was my actual meal. It’s a burger on grilled sourdough topped with fried onions and American cheese. I had vision it may be a poor man’s version of JP Fitzgerald’s «Gypsy Pete»(Hamburg), which is one of my all-time favorite sandwiches. It wasn’t. RECOMMENDATION: No. The Stuffed Banana Peppers: Took the advice from fellow Unilocaler Nicole B. who said they were«Hands down the BEST around». Now I know I’ve had much better, but I can’t recall if those better stuffed peppers were from the Buffalo area. So, you maintain your credibility, Nicole B. In any event, they weren’t bad, but although it appears the peppers are served with grilled toast points as just a garnish, I think you need to eat these with the toast. They were much better with the toast. RECOMMENDATION: Provisionally, yes. The half chicken dinner: Wow. The chicken was incredibly moist and delicious. I can’t say that I’ve had roasted chicken in a restaurant that was this good before. I was kicking myself for not ordering it myself for dinner. RECOMMENDATIONS: Yes, absolutely yes. Sadly, our service wasn’t the best. I don’t know if perhaps they were short staffed but my table of 5 people had 3 napkins and 4 sets of silverware for 50% of the time we spent here. You do the math. We were borrowing«the napkin» from one another. It was getting to be so greasy that it would rip off and fuse to our grubby fingers. In close, don’t let me lead you to believe that there’s anything wrong with the Forestview restaurant being simply a diner, or hookers, or Julia Roberts(of course). To each it’s own. There is, however, one thing we can all agree on… Richard Gere is a strange bird.

OK after 3 times I HAVE to warn people Stay Away from here!(I should get a 1 star for judgement in going back 3 times) The first time I stopped here was about a year ago with my two kids. We arrived for breakfast on a Friday. We walked in and ended up standing by the register for 15 minutes without ever being acknowledged. We left. About 2 months ago I stopped there on a Friday night with my girlfriend after a movie. We were seated promptly(good sign??? NO) we sat at our table for over ten minutes before our server came over. We were ready to place our order and gave it to the server 25 minutes later our burger and chicken fingers had not arrived we told the waitress we were ready to leave. She informed us that our food was being platted, 5 minutes later we were putting our coats on. When the server came back she apologized and told us again it was being platted but would we like to have it to go. When we walked to the register we were given our bill(Full bill) and all our food in to go bags. We left a little upset. The third and FINAL time I will ever go here was about 2 weeks ago I went with my two kids for dinner. We arrived and we were sat within 5 minutes. We sat at our empty table no drinks or silverware for 15 minutes while several employees passed us. We stopped the hostess and told her we hadn’t. seen our server. We were informed she would find out who it was. 5 more minutes passed and we left. They say third time is a charm… NOTHERE

Disclaimer: Takeout Only, Limited Order We placed a takeout order here at 4:45pm on a weekday. Pretty simple order — a plain hamburger well-done(specifying«plain» while ordering as: the burger with nothing on it, a bun with nothing on it, and fries) and an order of Falafel fritters. We picked up the order, the restaurant was virtually empty(we didn’t check our order at pick-up; evidently neither did they), got home and discovered we got a bacon cheeseburger. We called, they said come over and pick up another one. We drove back over, they apologized in a very kinda/sorta way(quote: «you want a free dessert or something?») and this time we got to the car and checked just to be sure(it won’t be wrong again, right? a plain burger?) and … voila! … there she was, in all her glory — a burger with lettuce, tomato, onions, and some kind of special(???) sauce. Maybe dining in is better, but try to avoid complex takeout orders; namely, no «plain» burgers.

Stood at the door for 10 minutes while the waitress sat in the back of the restaurant. Bartender said someone would be with us shortly. No one ever came to seat us so we ended up leaving and going to Altons down the street. Will never patronize this place again!

Disclaimer: Review for Takeout only I haven’t dined inside at Forestview in years. So this review isn’t for atmosphere, service, etc. However, I am obsessed with one item from here I just can’t get enough of. I couldn’t help reviewing Forestview for one thing alone: Stuffed Banana Peppers. Hands down, the BEST around. I LOVE stuffed banana peppers. I order them almost anywhere I go at least one. I have had my fair share of disappointment. Usually I am disappointed that I spent $ 10+ for two undersized, tasteless peppers. Every now and then, my boyfriend will stop here after the ‘Bowling Boys Night out’. One time he surprised me and brought me stuffed banana peppers home. Unfortunately for him, he can no longer go there without bringing them home to me. For $ 9.99, in a hefty(reusable) take out container, you get: FOUR(4) LARGE, stuffed banana peppers, accompanied with four(4) pieces of home baked baguettes the size of the peppers. It is so filling it either takes me two sittings to finish, or another person chowing down with me. 5 stars — for the peppers only :)

This voyage was at the behest of a friend and I’m glad I made the trek. We were toying with brunch notions and this appeared to be a middle ground between our two residences. It’s a little removed from the thunderdome-like quality of much of Transit Road traffic. It’s really tough to go too far field with most of the greek restaurants around here and these folks were pretty consistent in that regard. It’s a very well appointed place, but don’t let that sway. Their diner soul isn’t lurking too far beneath the surface as the all the stuff you go out to breakfast for are here and waiting for you, reasonably priced and prepped well. Coffee and Chicken Souvlaki are usually good barometers for breakfast platters for me and these along with sourdough toast sent me home full and happy. Breakfast and Beverages for two was just over $ 20. Not too shabby.

Meah. Food is typical pre-made and processed food you would expect. Nothing fresh, and a little pricy. However, the bar is pretty nice and the appetizers aren’t bad. Nice to stop on for a drink, but that’s about it.

This place is a Greek owned restaurant with a full dining room and full bar. Lighting is dark and they have numerous television setups for guests. Food is overpriced and below average quality. The staff is not as friendly as most restaurants although I set high standards when I go out. Every time I come here the experience is the same. 24⁄7 restaurant.

I usually don’t start off a review by being so negative but… I WILLNEVEREVERINTHISLIFETIMEEVERGOBACKTOTHISPLACE!!! It happened to be a holiday so every place for the most part was closed and it looked like we were going to end up at McDonald’s which I am really sorry we didn’t, who knew this place wouldn’t be acceptable in any way. First to start off the«owner» who pretended not to be the owner, was very very rude, You could tell by her actions she was in fact the owner. You should never have to hide yourself or act like an idiot which she clearly was acting like one… The food is very strange, calling it «blah» like a previous Unilocaler is putting it in the nicest way possible. The salad was sour, very very sour, you couldn’t eat it, soup or salad comes with your meal and the sever just took the salad away and never asked if we wanted a soup instead. This place has more of a dirty diner feel, then a restaurant, I guess because its open 24 hours, which I don’t like places like that, when do they have time to properly clean the kitchen? The chicken Parm was more of a chicken patty, it was portion packed, round like a patty and guess what? They deep fry it! Ummm, no I do not want deep fried chicken parm, who does? I would never even think of deep frying chicken parm… It should at least say on the meuu how it is prepared. The meatloaf was burned, looked disgusting, tasted sour, just like the salad. We returned that as well. and guess what? When the bill came they CHARGED for it. That is very poor taste. This is when the«Owner» started to show her true colors, telling us how it is, what happened to the customer being right? She told us, I tasted it and the chef tasted it and it’s fine. Okay, well it is not acceptable, and if you really want to go there neither was the chicken but we sucked that up and ate it because we were hungry. In the end we had to pay 50% of the cost of the meatloaf… If I were you, I would save yourself the grief and go to Fortuna’s in Niagara Falls NY for some delicious chicken and veal parm!
