Don’t go here over night or any time past 11pm… you will be served by a raunchy skinny blonde lady who wears lots of makeup… she will speak foul language in every direction and disgust you with her comments. Watch out if she’s hungry. She will eat the fries off of your plate and dip them in your condiments without your permission. She will claim her boss was in and she couldn’t eat while she was there so for some reason the fact that she never eats. will become your issue. Prepare to pay for good food with terrible delivery to your table. The cook is always nice. the old blonde can’t keep to herself. She should stick to serving the customers and not saying gross things continuously. I have eaten here since I was a young boy. I have decided I’m done eating at this location. unless the wacko gets fired. I’ll stay far away otherwise. Thanks for allowing me to voice my experience. I hope the owner does something about this company and fast. It’s falling apart … always dirty and if you go at night… good luck.

Glad I made the choice of this over another hot dog place that charcoal grilled theirs Hot dogs were very good, buns were fresh and chili was decent Not as good as National Coney in Detroit, but more than adequate Fries were a bit on the greasy side but were hot and tasty Definitely will be a place for a return visit when I am back in the area

I’ve only ever had the hot dogs(and fries) here, but I’ve had them many, many times. I’m a pretty big fan of Louie’s, and here’s why: 1. Their hot dogs are delicious. I especially recommend the«Texas Res Hots» aka the dogs with the works on them. Chili sauce, mustard, onions, etc. 2. Louie’s is very inexpensive. 3. Louie’s is open 24⁄7!

Rude wait staff — placed a $ 25 order for take out — gave a $ 4 tip in cash — no thank you at all — not even an acknowledgment of a tip being given. choke on the $ 4 — miserable dark haired girl with blonde highlights — I know people always tip for take out orders — especially when you combine 2 separate orders & don’t tell the customers so they sit there & wait for the second order. Total garage wait staff. Never again !!!

The best Texas hots in town. Great service at this particular Louie’s too. It’s my family get together place whenever we’re all home!

HOTDOGS and more Hotdogs, oh and cheeseburgers. It’s open 24 hours. I call them chilli or shit dogs, when I order. So goooood. They use Sahlens Hotdogs so you know they are the Best! If u want a quick and cheap meal, come here, although can be pricy sometimes.

After posting a glowing review for Zorba’s Texas Hots, I now go in the opposite direction. Due to the convenience factor, I have stopped at Louie’s a few times after working late. It usually isn’t too crowded, but If there does happen to be a big crowd, they get overwhelmed. The vestibule at the Transit Rd. location always smells like a dirty dishrag. I don’t know what’s up with that. But onto the food. The Texas hots are meh. The dog itself is OK but the Texas sauce is beyond bland. It tastes like wet sawdust. Edible sawdust, but sawdust nonetheless. About the only thing I like at Louie’s is the bacon, eggs & toast, but how do you mess that up? Actually, I do know a fairly popular 24 hour Greek restaurant that doesn’t know how to make toast, but that’s going to have to wait for a different review. Then there was the time at the Orchard Park location that I went in and sat down, but they would only attend to the large group of frat boys in the take-out line. I waited, waited, and waited. Then I waited some more. No staff in sight except one guy taking orders in the take out line. No wait staff anywhere to be seen. So I walked out. I probably won’t come back.

Transit location south of Broadway. Louies Louies, oh no, it’s a hot dog place. Ay ay ay ay ay. But they’re not called Dogs, oh no, they’re Texas Hots. Can you now misinterpret what I just said as something dirty, and put it on VH1’s 100 most misread food reviews? This Louie’s is decent, and has good service, I quite like the hot dogs and everything else is pretty good. However when Zorba’s is down the road, I’m never going to keep coming back to Louie’s — to me, Zorba’s is just a class above, as is Abbott Hots in South Buffalo, and even Dominick’s on Sheridan, not to mention Hot Dog Heaven and of course the chain, Ted’s, which is totally different and not so much Buffalo style but definitely a Buffalo legend. As you can tell, I love the Buffalo style hot dog places, but this one isn’t my favourite. I do have some nice memories of coming here late at night with someone special, and also I think one of the servers is really cute and very friendly, or was the last time I came here which was quite awhile ago.

Went in for late dinner. Employees not very friendly. Italian wedding soup not good, pasta sitting in broth way too long. Waitress took away before it was done. Chicken finger meal was weak. 3 undersized strips and fries for 7 bucks. Mrs got two«famous» red hots that were unremarkable. Overcharged us on bill as well. Owner quote on front notes high NYS taxes and we should support local biz. I’m all for it but product/experience better be at par with chain next door.

Louie’s is a staple for the quick dinner crowd or breakfast crowd. Or yes that late night bar crowd craving for grub or looking for a hangover cure(I think we can all honestly say we been there done that) To no surprise the hot dog aka«slime dog» is the champion here. A steamed roll with a smaller version of a local sahlens hot dog, mustard Louie’s Texas sauce and onion. This is your traditional local ordered slime dog. It’s a decent dog fairly tasty and messy. I’m a zorbas fan myself(about 3 miles northbound further on transit road) but I will stop here a time or two.

I haven’t eaten at Louie’s in so many years but I was craving it recently and during some Christmas shopping with my mom, we decided to stop in. We got some of their Chili dogs to go with their staple greek sauce on them and they were awesome. I will note that the rolls were a bit on the stale side but with their awesome sauce, it nearly didn’t matter. The only real complaint I would have to make was the service at the counter. Like I said, I haven’t been to Louie’s in a long time so I wanted to look at the menu quick and the girls behind the counter were impatient with me and then when I asked for napkins as I was leaving, they said there were some in the bag(while acting like they were completely put out by this)…so I asked for extra and guess what, there weren’t any in the bag. Try eating one of these hot dogs, in the car, with no napkins. Tell me how that works out for you. Overall though, I would definitely have to suggest trying these classic Buffalo dogs!

A Buffalo staple especially late at night. One of my stops every time I am in town. I love their Texas Red Hot with special greek sauce. Causal diner atmosphere, friendly service. I normally do the buy 5 dogs get one free on take out orders an eat them all.

Went here around 1am one morning and the service was horrible. Our young waitress was very rude and kept tossing things on the table. Couldn’t even get a refill because she was too busy socializing and drinking her own soda. Was not impressed and won’t be returning. Go at your own risk!
