this mighty taco is dirty as fuck. Their food taste dirty like an ass. Fuck this unsanitary ass place. One time when I went here I came home and I have the runs. I also had to wait 10 minutes for my food because the old fuck ass old lady was taking too long. I went in the bathroom with a worker and they didn’t wash their hands. Even though they updated the place it’s still look ghetto as hell. Thank you for your time.

This place had some of the worst tacos I’ve ever had. I cannot recommend this place. The fact that ground beef and ground chicken were the only meat choices should have been a clue. You’ve been warned.

Typical mighty taco joint. Drive through is quick although not always accurate. If you want Mexican fast food this will satisfy your craving and they also have vegetarian and vegan options. The dining room is clean and spacious. It looks like they recently did some renovations and its nice.

Not one to pass up a taco, I decided to try Mighty Taco while in the Buffalo area for work. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Was it the best taco ever? No. Was it better than Taco Bell? I thought so. The tacos are pretty big. I made the mistake of adding sour cream and guacamole. They went a little trigger happy with the caulk gun, resulting in a heavy, oozing mess. Otherwise the ground beef was tasty and the hot sauce was a nice little treat. All in all it wasn’t the worst ‘fast food’ meal I’ve had.

Ok so here’s the deal. I’m from buffalo, and I have the pleasure of having a Taco joint that’s been serving the WNY region for over 40 years. Is it true Mexican food? No. It’s a great place to eat if you want a snack, or a quick dinner. In a flooded market of burger kings and Wendy’s etc… having a mighty taco is a breath of fresh air. The whole nation has a Taco Bell and that’s fine and all, and not that I’m bashing Taco Bell, my mistake/quality ratio is far below that of a mighty taco. It’s your typical fast food with a twist! Not too greasy on the meat, although at times you’ll notice some grease drips. You have an optional wheat tortilla for all y’all healthy folk out there. Dining room is mostly clean, just expect a few random pieces of lettuce dangling around somewhere. Pretty decent menu, whether your hungry for a taco or burrito or nachos supreme or even ground chicken as a meat substitute, mighty taco aims to please the hungriest of appetites. If your new to the area, give it a shot, and what’s the worst that can happen? There’s always a Taco Bell a mile up the road!

There are lots of Buffalonians that know food, but those that tell you«if you are only in Buffalo one day, try Mighty Taco», or say«WNY has great food, for example, Mighty Taco», are not among them. They are what is affectionately known as delusional, and we would never be caught dead in the vicinity of Mighty Taco. I once heard someone on Unilocal describe fans of Mighty Taco as suffering from the food version of Stockholm Syndrome. That would be hilariously funny if it wasn’t so regrettably true. Every location of MT is busier than every local Buffalonian food joint I have ever reviewed, and also busier than most other fast food outlets too. That last point is not a bad thing since I don’t like national chains anyway, but the former is a tragedy. Buffalo DOES have some good Buffalo Tacos, in fact some amazing ones which have nothing to do with Mexican food, usually served by local Pizza/Wing joints or even bars… but Mighty Taco is one step below Taco Bell. Did you hear me? I said one step below Taco Bell. Yes. I know that seems impossible. Like a contradiction in terms. An oxymoron. But it’s true. I thought Taco Bell was the worst food on earth. Until I tried Mighty Taco. It is just… so… bad. Please, please, please stop associating this place with Buffalo. Buffalo has the best food of any small city in the USA… but Mighty Taco, along with Anchor Bar and Duff’s… is one big local embarrassment. The less famous places will rock your world. Read about some of them in my reviews :) No Mighty Taco! No!

So, I love Mighty Taco. My godmother sends me gift certificates in the mail, and when I go home, it’s like the first thing I do. Often quite literally. It’s pretty much the highlight of going home. That’s why when they screw up my order, I get pissed. I mean, I suffered in silence, but still. I went to the Depew location because I was out there getting my hair cut — it was my first time at this location. The woman taking my order seemed super confused during the whole process. She couldn’t find the right buttons to push on the computer and seemed to have a hard time processing the«special instructions» for my three cheese burrito(I feel like«no salsa» isn’t that confusing.). In the end, I got a three cheese burrito with salsa(gross.) and my boyfriend’s tacos were terribly wrapped — there was virtually no filling in a punched together burrito. This was not what I had been craving in Cambridge. What a disappointment. Next time I’m sticking to the Mightys in the city.

I love Mighty Taco… you may have to have been born and raised in Buffalo to appreciate this«Mexican» food. I love the Chicken Fajitas and my boyfriend(also from Buffalo) can’t visit Buffalo without getting his Super Mighty’s. The empanadas are also a great treat!

Mighty Taco is, well«Mighty». If you grew up in the early 70’s you knew that Mighty was the only place to go for good food at 4.00am. It is most unfortunate that they no longer stay open as long as they did however the food(get real, it’ not authentic Mexican by a long shot) is good, cheap and TASTY! It is a local thing. Way back when I did order sprouts on my tacos and a Mr. Pibb to go. No comparison, Mighty Taco rules in Buffalo!

I visited some friends this weekend and one of the place they told me I had to go to was MIGHTYTACO. It was worth it. I like to try any and all mexican restaurants. And Mighty Taco is in the top 5.
