Skip it. The clam chowder tasted like flour implying it was undercooked rue. The staff was nice but seemed a bit overworked. All in all I would say try somewhere else. Other dishes may be good but skip the clam chowder.

Bad service. Worse chowder. Don’t even think about stopping! The only redeeming factor was some decent (but not fresh) onion rings. meh.

The clam chowder was good, service was great, but the corn bread was awesome.. more honey please. My sister had the Philly and was better then you would expect in a seafood place.

Meh. Ok if you’re hungry, but I’ve had better Fish and chips. Mine were kind of rubbery. Corn bread was Huge, but not warm. Hubby said chowder was thick with plenty if clans, but again, he’s had better. Think I’d pick somewhere else to try next visit.

The atmosphere is pretty plain and Spartan but the service was friendly and attentive. Their chowder is outstanding with large pieces of clans. The haddock fish and chips is above average and my wife’s seafood pasta was great with a light Alfredo sauce.

Although it was understaffed, the food made up for the wait. The bread, chowder, fries, and breaded meat were very fresh and hot. Very very nice quality. Would rate higher If the wait hadn’t been so long.

Clam chowder is thick and bland. Nothing but a few clams with no veggies in it. Expected more for a place next to the ocean. Wouldn’t come here again.

This review is just for the chowder. My friend and I had just enough time to grab a bowl of chowder before we headed out on our whale watching tour. It was just the thing I needed to warm and fill my belly. It came out fast and was delicious! I would stop in here again.

The chowder was bland and the fish and chips were dry, tough and overall terrible. The only nice things I can say are that the wait staff was really nice and the tartar sauce was pretty good. I don’t know how you dry out deep fries fish, but they did. The table behind me complained about the same thing. I have a rule to never trust a place with pictures in the menu and I should have abided by that rule today. For $ 19.95 (incl. tip) at lunch, I expect a lot better meal.
