I originally called a few shops with some basic questions about nipple piercings but after I spoke to Mare (who was polite and professional) I decide 12 Oz is my best choice… I arrived and honestly it is the most clean beautiful shop I’ve ever seen. AJ was wonderful! He really helped me with the anxiety and fear I had. Simply the best… I would never go anywhere else… Clean, beautiful shop and an awesome staff… Congrats on establishing an amazing environment for your clients.

Last night I finally bit the bullet and got my third tattoo after waiting 13 years. The last one I got (13 years ago) was with Alex and I always said when I was finally ready for another, Alex was the guy. Not only is he a fantastic artist, but he’s an all around great dude. 12 oz is clean and friendly and you know you will leave with a quality product. When I’m ready for another (hopefully not 13 years from now), I will definitely go back to 12 oz.

I went to have my VTC Jewelry changed and I «greeted» by the cashier (she was so rude). I asked how long the wait would be and she stated I had 3 people ahead of me, when in fact there was 1 nasal piecing ahead of me. I waited 30 minutes just to be told it would be another 10 – 15 minutes until I was seen just for a Jewlery change. I was finally called back by AJ and he said, «Have a seat how can I help you?» I told him I needed my jewelry changed he said «ok have a seat» I asked sit in the piercing chair without any paper down? He stated «yes I cleaned it I ran out of bibs» i had to sit down without any pants on, a chair that was yes sterilized however had no «bib» cover. I get waxed and there’s always a clean fresh paper cloth down. Turns out after a 45 minute wait he didn’t have the proper jewelry.

Long story short. My 14 y.o. daughter got her nose pierced around 2 months ago. Not at 12 Oz. She has had numerous problems with it, and today knocked the stud out. Being 14, no one wanted to touch her. By chance I called a tattoo/​piercing studio, and was referred to 12 Oz. I called a little frantic, and was reassured by Jess, that A.J., the piercer would be able to help! I flew, well not really, drove quickly to the shop, and to my surprise, the shop was beautiful, CLEAN, and professional. My daughter, and I met A.J., who was not only extreamly proffessioal, but funny, and personable!!! He was beyond sterile, and made my nervous daughter feel well at ease. I would HIGHLY recommend A.J. to anyone that is considering getting pierced! Thank you so much for taking your time with my daughter, and being so professional. I honestly mean every word I am saying!

I’ve been pierced countless time, but no matter how many times, I still get nervous. I went to 12oz on 8÷16÷14 to get my nose pierced for like the 6th time. It was my lucky day to walk into here and find AJ. He has been by far the most professional and well informed person I have dealt with. He was nice, funny and adorable. I will definitely be going back to him for my next piercing.

Awesome place! It’s a very clean and beautiful shop. I went for a nostril piercing (it was my first time getting professionally pierced besides Claire’s for my ears), AJ was really friendly & seemed to know exactly what he was doing. He was also very knowledgable & took the piercing very seriously. I will definitely recommend him, excellent job.

AJ is one of the best piercers in NJ. Really, the guy really knows his stuff.
I’ve had my rook and vertical surface tragus done by him. And you know what, the surface piercing, after 2 years, is still going strong in my ear (and those things don’t usually last longer than a year). I’ve gone to him a couple times throughout the years to ask questions and he’s always kind and helpful. The jewelry is a little expensive but he only gets quality metals, so you can trust it. And honestly, I’d rather fork over more cash for a quality piercing that’s going to heal successfully and not act up down the road.
I’ve recommended him to all my friends and they have all had successful experiences as well.
I can’t speak for tattoo artists here, but for piercings, definetly go to 12 oz. in Deptford!
