Why are people so all uptight with this place? It’s not a fancy department store, it’s an arts and craft store. Reset your expectations people. Good friendly service and ok prices.

I received a coupon for custom framing. I went there with my graduation cap hoping to have to mounted and framed to preserve it. The sales man told me I would have my item in 2 weeks. 3 weeks went by and I called and heard nothing. Finally I heard back from them and I went to pick up my item. I was so excited, until I saw what they did. Completely did not do what I asked, even though they took a picture to send to the framer! I asked for assistance from the manager. This man had a terrible attitude and did not want to help. After several minutes of arguing I asked for a full refund, this manager said if he refunded it I couldn’t get my cap back because he «wouldn’t have his employees hurt themselves getting the cap out of the frame». I was livid, he called up another manager named Al who came and easily assisted me, and took my cap out of the frame for me he also gave me the full refund. All in all I wasted 2 hours there and had my blood boil. I will never go to another AC Moore and will complain further. It’s unacceptable to refuse to give me my personal item back on top of completely messing up my order!

This is one of the closest AC Moore’s near me and my job, so it’s very convenient for me, but if I had another option, I’d jump on it. Whenever I ask an employee where something specific is, they act like I am annoying them and interrupting them. In one instance, I was looking for certain letters for my wedding cake topper. I asked if they could call another store and put the letters on hold for me. It took the cashier 20 minutes to put 3 letters on hold for me because every time I would go to explain my situation to her, she would start talking to one of her coworkers about something and completely interrupt me. I found it very rude. If he matter is that pressing, at least have the courtesy of saying, «Excuse me for one second», and apologize. Good customer service is hard to find these days. I have had a return here and a MANAGER was very rude, and almost wouldn’t take my product back. He barely talked to be, huffed and puffed and was having a completely different conversation with his coworkers. I find that so disrespectful and unprofessional.

This location is definitely one of the oldest I’ve been to. They renovated the one side of the store to build a new frame shop, which is nice. Overall it is much smaller than any other location I have been to. The cashiers are generally slow to call for backup and act annoyed when you give them a coupon after they have already hit the button to complete the order. I told the one cashier that I liked her tattoo and she looked at me like I was a pervvy jerk for noticing it. It was on her hand. I’ll still go here because it’s closest to me, but I hope they’ll renovate soon.

this is, by far, the worst a.c. moore i have ever shopped at. i went to school at rowan, and visited this place often between 2001 – 2005. back in those days, i probably would have awarded 2 or 3 stars. they kept the place relatively organized, and the employees were alright. i stopped in last week for the first time in years, and things have taken a turn for the worse. i went in to return some wooden dowels — probably about 30 of them — but i did not have a receipt. they all had their UPC stickers still on, and i had so courteously separated them by type. teresa — my cashier — acted like i was asking her to build a bridge to the moon with these dowels, instead of just taking a return. she sighed with exhasperation throughout the 20MINUTES it took her to complete the return. she even complained about me to fellow employees, one of which appeared to be a manager, who should have reprimanded her for making comments about a customer like that. furthermore, she did not talk with me, make any eye contact, or do anything at all that resembles normal human interaction. in the meantime, the line built up to about 15 people deep. other cash registers had to be opened… but she waited till the end of my transaction to call for backup! i was actually apologizing to the customers behind me for the situation, and explained that i was just making a quick return. teresa was probably the most miserable person i’ve ever been«helped» by in any store. to make matters worse, the store was disorganized, the other employees were not friendly or helpful, and the place was dark and dingy. YUCK!!! i highly recommend the Moorestown location, which is only about 20 minutes away. it’s worth the trip.
