I got gift cert. for Christmas and we wanted to give them a 2nd chance after a bad experience many years ago. My mistake, Red lobster was clean and the waitress way very good but they still miss the point, The food was terrible !!! The shrimp Coconut was over cooked, the Shrimp Scampi was to salty the rest was marginal at best. I will never go to any Red Lobster again . Mike

What can I say but I will never step foot in this Red lobster again my fiancé almost aye a big piece of plastic in his Ceasar salad. Told the manager, he comes over and says wow at least you caught it before you ate it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. That’s it. Not a drink a dessert a gift card. The all you can eat shrimp fest, well if you get a waitress that never comes back to your table. You don’t get that much shrimp. She never remembered my man’s iced tea till 5 minutes before we left. Going to Outback for steak and shrimp always good service good food and no unwanted objects in our food. Oh and the shrimp more money tiny salad shrimp. Bad Red Lobster.

It’s a crab fest yasaaay Everything was good but the prices were higher than it should be The ads make you think it is a crab feast but the crab cakes were made by cheap claws crab or a leftover crabs, the meal was OK but too much money

Unilocal shows the restaurant in the wrong location. The correct address is 301-I North Almonesson Road, Court At Deptford II, Deptford Township, NJ8096. The restaurant also does NOT except the Unilocal offer. Our waiter called the Manager over and she confirmed. This is second time at this Red Lobster. Service is typically great. Food is good.

Yes it’s a chain but they do sell seafood. It is not gourmet but it’s not the worst I ever had either. This location is always clean and the staff always pleasant and attentive. Lunch is a good value try the shrimp tacos. Appetizers are great mozzarella sticks shrimp nachos lobster pizza all winners. The desserts are also great I like the walts fried shrimp. I had the special crab cakes once and they were good not horrible and not filled with bread The cheddar rolls are addictive Once I had a minor problem with my meal and the manager gave us a coupon for a free meal for our next visit There are always coupons in the newspaper so you don’t have to pay full price ever

This is a decent chain restaurant. I ordered the Admirals feast. The fried seafood doesn’t look like the pictures, but it tastes okay. Sweet tea is clutch. Nahhh just kidding, the food is pretty bad.

I will start off by saying that I know there’s always a bad experience when going out to a restaurant from time to time. My mother worked hard as a waitress all my life. I have been raised as to how a public business should run. I travel with my job, so eating out is part of it. My partner and I decided to go to this Red Lobster location for dinner. We both ordered the same meal, 12 oz NY strip, medium rare, with lobster tail, baked potato, and salad. Priced at $ 33 and change. Our server took our drink order then our meal order when bringing out our drinks and biscuits. Brought our food and refills out. Checked on us one other time shortly after bringing our meal, as he was taking the order at table next to us. Our 6 oz sirloin steaks were between medium well and well done. Yes, wrong steaks and half the size. Our baked potatoes were left over from lunch, cold and not very good. Once we finished the lobster tails off and waited for 20 minutes on server to come back, we were really ready to complain and leave. The server got the manager over to table and we told him all that had happened, he tells us «the best he can do is have our correct steaks cooked or give us a free dessert in place»(I quoted him there). I’m speechless at the response I heard. I was not seeking a free meal, but a discount on the small piece of leather would have been justified. I will not recommend this place, not will I return to this business to spend $ 40 on a meal.

Overall a pleasant experience, the salmon was delicious and cooked and seasoned to my liking. The staff was friendly and attentive. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a chain seafood restaurant, but I would definitely return again.

I think Red Lobster is okay lol. I stick to the fried shrimp, the shrimp alfredo and the biscuits and ive never been let down. The business overall definitely isnt what it used to be when I was a kid, but it’ll do. I will say eating in here can ruin your experience a bit, staff are always kinda standoffish, but meh. Just do take out then.

Came here Sunday night with my sister, brother in law and niece. Upon arriving we were quite neglected by the staffs standing right before us chitchatting away. After a couple minutes we were seated, given menus and asked for drinks. We started with the only good thing here which is their cheesy biscuits; flakey, buttery, cheesy and hot. Then we had the Caesar salad, the dressing was heavy and salty but the Parmesan shaves saved it, croutons were completely stale. As an entrée I had the shrimp Alfredo, my sister had their fresh fish of the day grilled salmon and my brother in law did their bowl of lobsters with a corn, my niece had Mac and cheese. The shrimp fettuccine Alfredo were completely uneatable. They were gummy, pasta completely overlooked, sauce was pretty much nonexistent, shrimps were little tiny frozen shrimps. My sisters Salmon was over cooked and under seasoned, my brother in laws lobsters were overly salted and my nieces Mac and cheese were Kraft Mac and cheese from the box. I know I’m not supposed to expect much from a chain restaurant but c’mon… With the amount of money we paid we could’ve gone to a local restaurant with fresh local ingredients. Will not return. Do not recommend.

Surely you have been to a Red Lobster in your lifetime. What sets this location apart is the waiter named Hector. He is efficient and super friendly. Whatever they are paying him, it’s not enough. Thank you for making our dining experience so fun and pleasant, Hector.

Ok Red Lobster… you get 4 stars today(a week or two later sorry!) Because I’ve been to this particular establishment more than once and this by far has been the best experience I’ve had here. I’ll bump it to 5 if it happens again! My husband, my son, and I went on a Friday around 7pm. No wait, but people were flowing in. First, the Hostess to our waiter were terrific. As requested they put us in the back for less traffic to distract my 6 month old. Everything was clean. Another lady graciously put the blind down so the sun wouldn’t beam on my child. Our waiter, wish I could remember his name(2 weeks will get to you!), he was so kind to my son, and in return he would just look at him a babble, but he didn’t mind. He took his time explaining the menu. Based off all that alone I’d go back. Now the food, well we all know its seafood, it’s chain and yes their is sodium, but my goodness it was good! Of course the biscuits, then I had the crab alfredo. Yum! I have nothing bad to say. People may say its expensive… ok so buy it and cook it yourself! It’s seafood + restaurant = $$

Travel all the way from Philadelphia to be a friend and she recommended to go here because this restaurant is closing and I have to say that the stake and lobster combo it’s incredible and the staff is so courteous and pleasant. Don’t know why it’s closing but if you around in the area come by and you will not be disappointed.

So, as a Philly resident, there are actually only a small number of full-service seafood restaurants available. Not sure why, but it’s not a hugely popular option for some reason. For that reason, my GF and I find ourselves at Red Lobster occasionally, and have always liked it as a casual, relatively inexpensive seafood option. Neither of us are big chain restaurant fans, but sometimes Red Lobster fits the bill. Obviously, there are much more upscale choices in Philly if one so desires, however Red Lobster remains an occasional favorite. The menu is very diverse, and while I wouldn’t go for the chicken or steak, they have some options if you’re so inclined. They have a nice variety of lobster, crab, and shrimp dishes and appetizers, both broiled and fried, and some with both. I usually opt for the«ultimate feast» while my GF goes for lobster tails or a whole lobster. I think the food and prep quality has improved greatly over the past 10 years, or so. In the past, there was occasions in which(especially the crab legs or the lobster tails) were a bit overcooked. They seem to be doing a much better job in the kitchen, as our meal last night was perfectly cooked. I think they’re using a brine on their lobster tails, because they were some of the most tender, sweet, and juicy lobster I’ve ever had. I enjoyed the small tail in my combo meal so much, I ordered a second one! The scampi, fried shrimp, and crab legs were also cooked perfectly. My GF had one of the Lobster Fest specials, which came with two tails, and she was also very happy with her meal. So, Red Lobster is certainly a throwback, dating to 1968, and it’s still a place to get a decent seafood dinner, provided you don’t expect it to be something it’s not! I’m a foodie, and I still love it… there; I said it!

I am sure you know about Red Lobster, I’m sure you’ve been to one. I don’t really understand why there is a wait for a table no matter what day you come. People will wait for an hour for a table. The food is incredibly salty and much of the seafood is smaller than what I would expect. There is not much care taken into the preparation of the food. I am not a big fan of chains, but even for a chain I would prefer Bone Fish across the street instead of Red Lobster.

The prices(and sodium content) here are bit high for a chain restaurant so we only come here once in a blue moon, when there is a special promo going on. Recently I got a coupon in my email inbox for 5 dollars off dinner for 2, also good toward their 4 course feast special for 14.99. We went at 6 pm on sunday night and expected a wait. There was construction going on in the back of the parking lot so we had to park a pretty far walk away. Ok, we will need that walk to burn a couple calories after the meal. The hostess told us it would be an hour wait. Seriously? well we had nothing else to do so we sat on an outside bench and waited. About 40 minutes later our buzzer went off. We were then seated and I must say our server was GREAT. She was very friendly and on point throughout the meal. She took our drink order, soup and salad order and said she would get our entrée order when she brought the salads out. We tore through 2 baskets of cheddar bay biscuits while we ate our soup and salad. She had the white chicken tortilla soup, I had the baked potato and bacon soup. She had the Caesar salad, I had the house garden salad. I ordered the coconut and pineapple shrimp, my wife ordered the shrimp and scallop alfredo pasta. Everything came out at a perfect pace and everything was as delicious as one could expect for Red Lobster. Since we loaded up on soup salad and biscuits, neither of us could finish our entrees so we asked for boxes for them(lunch tomorrow!) as well as our desserts that were included with the meal. She had the triple fudge brownie and I had the key lime pie. They were good later that evening but they did not look like the full sized desserts you would pay like 5.99 for, but rather scaled down versions for the special meal deal. Still good. Great service and a great deal. Worth the wait and the extra tip.

Though I was a little apprehensive about eating there due to my dietary restrictions, I found it to be a good experience overall. They told us the wait time was about 15 minutes, which was accurate. They were very accommodating with having my food prepared as requested and offered healthier alternatives. I had the sirloin and wood-grilled shrimp skewers(with a double order of broccoli). The meat was cooked to order; the shrimp were a little overdone. The one gaffe was when they entered my partner’s order — they somehow«lost» it and my order came out before his. However, our server was very apologetic and acknowledged her mistake, and the food came out shortly afterward. My partner’s meal was prepared well. The service was on-point. Our server was very attentive: drinks were kept full, refills on the biscuits were offered, and they kept checking up to make sure we were happy with the meal. All in all it was a good dining experience, and knowing I can enjoy the healthier alternatives, I have every intention of a repeat visit.
