Best Chinese in Derry hands down! Robyn the delivery woman is the best, I think our dog may be even more obsessed with her than we are :) We order regularly and have never been disappointed. The Szechuan chicken and house special rice is delicious, highly recommend.

This is one of my favorite places to get Chinese food. My boyfriend and I always get the number 4 dinner plates: sesame chicken. The chicken is cooked well and the sauce is delicious. We also get an order of egg rolls to split between us. I love their egg rolls, soo delicious and they’re better than the egg rolls I tried from Dim Sum. Staff are friendly and delivery service is on point. I love China Garden and would recommend them.

By far my favorite Chinese food. Everything is tasty and full of flavor, and fresh too! Yes, the wait room is cold in the winter, hot in the summer, it’s a take out place, order a half hour before you get there and enjoy it at home.

My husband and I ordered a pupu for 1, vegetable lo mein, and sesame chicken. This is by far the best vegetable lo mein we’ve had in ages. We were surprised by how generous they were with the vegetables and that there was a good variety. Over all it wasn’t too greasy which is a great change of pace. The sesame chicken was naturally sweet but we appreciated that the light batter remained crispy even with the looser sauce. I also have to mention that the steamed rice wasn’t gluey and was very fresh – it’s the simple things that let you know they care. We weren’t very fond of the chicken tenders or fried shrimp, simply because they were heavily battered-but the batter was good. We were also really disappointed with the crab Rangoon. The cream cheese had scallions mixed in which was great but it really lacked the crab(or imitation crab meat). Overall we really really loved the main dishes, but will continue our search for the best Chinese appetizers in the area. We will absolutely be ordering again and suggest everyone give them a try!

Think of me as a Chinese food connoisseur(I mean, hell, I’ve been dating an Chinese man for the past 5 years!), and this place is the best food — price, taste, quality, and selection I’ve had outside of Chinatown Boston in the past decade. Sure, it doesn’t look like much on the outside, but that’s because it doesn’t need the extra frills — the food and friendliness of the staff speaks for itself. Make the drive; it’s worth it!

Food was really good. Got general tso’s, crab Rangoon, pork spare ribs and rice. The place doesn’t exactly look great from the outside, but the food is great and that’s what it’s all about when it comes to Chinese food for me.

The good: Open kitchen: you can see everything being prepared and it’s very clean. –Online ordering –Prompt delivery –Friendly staff –Rice, boneless ribs, chicken teriyaki: very good The bad: exterior– looks live a dive. Bottom line: best Chinese takeout in Derry, probably not the best you’ve ever had, but giving it 5 stars to set it apart from the area competition, which has been lacking.

I ordered a bunch of takeout from China Garden a couple weeks ago. There was a group of 6 of us and we ordered several different items, including lo mein, crab rangoons, pork fried rice, eggrolls, general tso chicken and the boneless spare ribs. Everything was very good. It’s the kind of Chinese food that is so good and makes you feel bad for eating it, but you don’t question the contents of what you are eating. Although they do deliver, they don’t deliver to Londonderry. It’s a huge bonus that they have online ordering.

One of the better take away spots in the area. The Peking Ravioli is a favorite of mine, they always are spot on. Plus, who doesn’t like a place that lets you order online, definite plus there.

Wanted to love it. Some of the items we got were tasty. But there is no excuse for the 3 day old chicken fingers they re-fried to death, and the beef teriyaki that looked like tiny strips of jerky on a stick. Dried out and ruined. Sorry guys, I won’t be back.

It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. Friday night was busy and they were great about letting you know how long it would take. The place was clean. The 2 people I felt with were fast polite and efficient. It was my first time here so I went with the basics. Pork fried rice and pork lo mein. The lo mein noodles were over cooked and the rice was under cooked. Flavors were not bad but nothing I’d go back for.

Friendly, very good service. Food wasn’t bad, some of the top Chinese food in the Derry area. It was still hot when we got home, and it was ready for us fast, not very greasy. Ordering online was easy and seamless, worked out perfectly. Clean kitchen that you can see from the dining area/front counter. Parking lot is a little awkward because it’s a divided highway. Overall, it was a good experience, I’d recommend to anyone looking to try a new place.

Chinese food is fair, the crab ragoons are gross, they cut corners here and fill them with chives for a cheaper disgusting product, however they do have authentic tea to have while you wait for takeout, the chefs have genuine hats, the pork fried rice is not good, way too light and plain and lacks flavor. If the rice was better which is the main staple I would have given them 4 stars but it just wasn’t. The counter help was pleasant and a good no pressure environment. One of the cooks was sucking a lolipop on the cooks line, probally not a good visual for customers to see when preparing food, otherwise they seeemed professional.

Best boneless spare ribs I’ve ever had and that’s my favorite item. Mind blowing. Saw them cooking and there’s so much attention To detail! They watch it and pull it off when it’s carmelized and perfect.

I got here last night after work about 15 minutes before they closed and was told I could still order. The heat still was not working 3 weeks after I last came and the staff were dressed in winter coats, I could literally see my breath as I waited for my food. The girl at the counter stood behind the register watching some TV show on her phone, probably because the TV on the wall didn’t work, which with the heat seems to be a running theme at this place. As I left, they literally followed out the door right behind me and all jumped in their shared vehicle and were out of the lot before I was. When I got home everything in the PuPu for One was disgusting besides the teryaki, either half cooked or cold, and had obviously been half assed because of the time. If you tell me I can still order close to closing time, the food should be the same as any other time, not reheated leftovers. If it’s too late, tell me, and I’ll go somewhere else, don’t serve me crap so you can pocket an extra few bucks. Now for pocketing a few bucks that night they’ve lost all the money I would have given them in the future. Between the piss poor service, the busted heat, and the crap food, this place joins the never again list.

Got some good egg foo, crab rangoons, Peking ravioli and garlic noodles tonight. Always good food. fresh food. Chen’s use to be my favorite place in Derry but now is defiantly in second.

China Garden is one of the better places to go for Chinese food in the Derry area, takeout or eat-in. I’ve stopped in here several times for takeout. The place is order at the counter and there’s also table seating inside. The temperature inside this restaurant can get very hot, especially during the day when it’s hot and sunny outside. I’ve ordered several of the 20 combination platters offered during lunch($ 5.50-$ 5.95 plus tax), which is served until 3PM and come with choice of pork fried rice or white rice and choice of appetizer(egg roll, crab rangoon, beef teriyaki, chicken teriyaki, chicken wings, chicken fingers, or boneless spare ribs). The dinner combination platters(after 3PM) are priced at $ 7.95 plus tax. The food here is very good and cooked to fresh order in the open kitchen. The portions for lunch are good. My favorite combinations are the #11 Lo Mein(Shrimp and Szechuan) and the #16 Baby Shrimp in Garlic Sauce. The lo mein has a good balance of noodles, meats, and vegetables. The shrimp dish has tender shrimp, baby corn, water chestnuts and fresh vegetables(snow peas, broccoli, mushrooms, carrots) in a sweet and mild spicy garlic sauce. The flavors of the food are very fresh. The pork fried rice(light brown color) has a mix of firm rice, tender roast pork, onions, and eggs. The chargrilled chicken teriyaki sticks are my favorite appetizer which are good sized tender boneless chicken and have sweet taste on the outside. The service is friendly and prompt. I will definitely keep coming back here for more great tasting Chinese food!
