Unfortunate I live across the street and have to drive to either Lowell or Salem NH to enjoy one of my favorite sub shops. This place is disgusting and if I was the district manager I would straighten this place out, most places in dirty Derry are, this place is a shit hole for food and definitely for the brand name D’Angelos. I ordered my favorite sub the Thanksgiving toasted and they just do it right here. I have to pay extra attention to the workers sanitation practices because the manager obviously isn’t aware. The black man who works there, very polite and kind individual needs to make sure his staff are doing a better job with sanitation. I saw him once on more than one occasion have his hands in his mouth and touching his face, now this is disgusting in a sub shop, another occasion the same cook that is always there touches his face with gloves and prepares subs, its disgusting and quite honestly I don’t want grown men touching there faces and mouths when I go to a sub shop, a hot chick, yea that’s alright but not sweaty men who have been slaving in a sub shop all day getting down and dirty. I can’t do it. This place needed to be re certified in serve safe all over for retraining purposes. I can promise you the quality here is not where it should be. The breads are not super fresh, means the manager isn’t making sure the quality standards are in place. The manager here needs to do a better job with his staff and the district manager needs to spend some more time here. I love D’Angelos but this place is disgusting.

I’ve ordered delivery from here twice. The sandwiches are always good, however… The first time, I ordered a soda with it. I was given a different flavor than what I ordered. Second time, I specified in the«comments» portion of my order to call when they arrived– do not knock on my door(my dog gets aggressive). This was ignored, the delivery boy knocked, and my dog went crazy. When I questioned why he did not follow my request, his reply was a nonchalant«oh I didn’t see it.» No apology. I also ordered and paid for extra sauce, which I did not get. Good food-bad customer service.

I haven’t had a #9 in years. I’ve been removed from the geographic area and just haven’t been near a D’angelos. Not only was the sandwich great, the service was great too! YUM!

Although this is a «chain» restaurant, the reason this D’Angelo’s gets a 5 star rating is because of the staff! They were incredibly friendly when I stopped in and made recommendations on some of the new items that have been added to the menu. I know that all the food is the same at all of the restaurants but I would much rather spend my money at a place that employs nice friendly people.

Manager gave me a dirty plate and proceeded to give me dirty looks and laugh at us because I asked her for a clean one. Not a clean place with trailor trash working there. I will never go back and hopes it will eventually close down by the board of health.

I grew up in an Italian American household and I have a craving for an Italian Sub every two weeks or so. D’Angelo’s is a good and convenient place to fill the craving. I have had better subs but I have also had much worse.

Typical D’angelo. Overpriced, but pretty yummy and tastes the same no matter which shop you go to. This one takes the cake for the smelliest bathroom. Gag gag gag. The layout is annoying here as well.
