Very gross experience, they tried doing my moms manicure with tools they had just used on someone’s pedicure, there was even dirty nails in the little tray. Would never recommend.

Love this place! Every time I come here they take their time n my nails always looks good. N reasonable prices!

Got a fill less than a week ago, one of the ladies offered shellac products. When she brought out the colors I was more interested in, they were all dried up. I declined and said I wanted just a regular french tip manicure. She at the end charged me for shellac which was $ 35! I am not going back, the top part of my nail is coming undone and the fill is visible on my all my nails. Worst nail job ever. Not going back.

Yuen did a perfect job on my shellac mani! I will ask for her again and again. Furthermore, her massage was legit! (They do your shoulders too for no extra charge!) I think I finally found my neighborhood nail spot!

I went to this place for my nails but I was very disappointed, the lady who did my nails she was rude, when I told her that my nail was crooked she asked me in a rude way about why you worry, and it seemed rude because of her tone, I don’t wanna go there again, but the young girl who did the paint on my nails she was really nice,

I love this place so much, I don’t even want to leave a good review so I can keep it the hidden gem that it is. The ladies are all very sweet and they always do an excellent job. I also appreciate the clean environment, the free massage, and the fact that they auto — clave their equipment. A+++

I love this place! It is always clean and pleasant, smells good and the staff is always friendly. The space is brightly lit with natural light. The electronic massage chairs are comfortable and the foot baths are clean and warm. The nail artists are always gentle and cut your nails just the way you want them. The price is perfectly reasonable. I would recommend Des Moines Nails to anyone who is looking for a reliable local nail salon.

I wish the menu explained the differences between Deluxe and Regular manicures/​pedicures.
My manicure lasted less then a week, so that was disappointing. If I could rate on service, this place would be 5 stars though! The owner and staff are very friendly and engage with you while providing your services.
I’d go back if all I needed was a police change. My sister received a fill and she loved it! The owner did a great job on her nails.

This used to be my favorite place, but my most recent experience was a bit disappointing.
I got a gel/​shellac manicure 6 days ago and 2 of my nails have already chipped. Previous gel/​shellac manicure I have gotten have lasted for 3 weeks without chipping, so I am sad that this one lasted for such a short time.
The nail grooming part of the pedicure was very good. I am really picky about how my toenails are cut, and they did a great job! On the flip-​side, my feet still felt a bit hard and dry when leaving and the polish on one of my toes is chipping after 6 days.
As previously stated, this used to be my favorite place to go. After my last experience, especially with the gel/​shellac manicure, I probably won’t be going back. The women working there are wonderful and extremely friendly, but for me, the quality of the service is what is most important.
On a positive note, this one of the few places that gives a very nice massage along with manicures and pedicures.

My girls and I have been going here for years. Really friendly owner and staff. They do a great job with our mani and pedi at a very reasonable price. They recently updated their pedi stations, and it’s quite comfortable.
