Jack In The Box

Stopped in on my lunch hour to grab a quick burger and drink. No one was in the drive thru so I was immediately helped. Great customer service and the food was tasty. If I am ever in the area again, I would stop in.

Good ol’ Jack in the Crack. You do the job when I want a burger and happen to be either out at midnight and there’s nothing else open for miles around or I’m dashing between one business meeting to another and have just 20 minutes to eat.
This location is on the slow side, but not slow enough to complain about on my one visit here. I had to repeat my order 3 times which was a number whatever with a drink so shouldn’t have been that hard to figure out. Obvious the burger was made just for me, the fries were hot and the oil was clean so all bonus points around.
Can you guys get rid of that eyesore of an empty ghetto lot next to you?

I’ve been reluctant to leave a good review for this place because I love it so much and I don’t want to jinx it but I feel they deserve it at this point. I always ask for extra lettuce every time I get tacos at every Jack in the Box I go to, and this is the ONLY one that actually listens. I get fresh tacos and fries every time I come through! The staff is really nice and always gets the order right.

I haven’t received official confirmation, but I’m pretty sure this place has a secret competition going with the Burien Jack In The Box to see who can have the shittiest service. At this point I’m not sure who’s winning.
The drive through is always a pain in the ass because it takes foreveerrrrrrr for them to get your order right. I always get the Jumbo Jack with cheese and I always used to request it without pickles/​onions/​tomatoes but I’ve stopped altogether and just pick it all off myself because never once have they ever gotten that right.
I went here over the weekend with my mom and best friend, there was one other group who was already sitting and eating, no one in the drive through. The kitchen appeared to be fully staffed. My mom and I ordered first. When it was my friend’s turn she seriously stood there waiting, peering behind the counter for a solid ten minutes before anyone even noticed her.
Another time I went the guy taking my order HAD HIS CELL PHONE OUT ON THE COUNTER AND WAS PLAYING ON IT AT THE SAME TIME. If I hadn’t been in a bit of a rush you can bet your sweet ass I would have completely gone off on him and walked out.
Speaking of shitty service and incompetent staff, this place has an extremely high turnover rate. Every time I go in there’s a whole new group of unenthusiastic people who suck at their job. What gives?
I only gave them 2 stars for the food, because that’s always good.

LOVE this Jack In The Box! Love all the Jack In The Boxes, but Des Moines seems to be the very friendliest! Their food is ALWAYS good! Hits the spot every time and cheaply!!! I will always return to this place when on the move!

Wish i could rate a –5. They never get anything right! I only eat fast food when I have the bottle flu. Would never return here for that. When I did eat f. f, it would often make me sick here. They don’t know enough English to even complete a order. Looks way understaffed. Often they forget to even ring up items, AFTER. Repeating. MCDONALD’S may not give me extra grease ever… but least they’re dependable and safe. Eat here to be exxxttreemely disappointed. Id put more faith in dumpster food.

Went in this Crap in the Box again today. Employees are telling me what to do. I’m the customer, not your child. Sod off.

Completely dissatisfied! This Jack in the Crack is NOT clean at all. It’s horrible. I’ve been through their drive thru a few times, and if there was somewhere else that was a quick fix then I would EASILY go somewhere else!
