Clean, fast service, great food(fresh, well seasoned) and never have issues. I highly recommended this place!!! They revelry changed ownership but they are still friendly.

We have been here twice and have ordered different menu items. The only reason we came back is because how good it was the first. They do an actual grill on the meat. They give you a nice CA roll that is very nice tasting. Plus they give so much of the other food you order. This will be our go to no good night food!

Im a big fan of the new ownership! Incredibly friendly staff, and delicious food. My favorite items are the Beef short ribs, and the monholian beef. Its definitely my go to teriyaki place in the area.

Average teriyaki, with a nice staff. This place was awesome a few years ago, but like I said, it has downgraded to average. The food doesn’t really stand out, or make you feel satisfied. I have even tried some of the Chinese plates, and they were below average. The young lady behind the counter is nice, but the food itself isn’t something that makes me say«wow!»

My go to teriyaki place! The lady is so sweet if you come back to her. We go here a ton. The chicken teriyaki is what we always get and it’s not dry at all and perfect for my liking. Sometimes she does get pretty busy so she gets pushy at times, but she tries to make up for it with tons of fortune cookies! Lol. I tried the chicken katsu recently and it was pretty good, just not my favorite. Overall the best teriyaki place around our area

It takes a LOT for me to give a place a bad review. Prices higher than I expected for less food than I expected. A very enthusiastic, but strange counter lady who was rude and answered a complaint with argument. And the biggest problem: The food was not good. 1. I ordered tofu teriyaki. I was informed that this has no meat in it(??). The problem was that it had very little TOFU in it! There were some very small pieces that I would estimate were less than two ½-inch slices from a soft tofu block. Hey I know it’s expensive to run a restaurant, but tofu is pretty cheap, guys, why skimp? It was also buried in a lot of vegetables. When I complained, she told me it was in a teriyaki sauce… could have fooled me, tasted like a little shoyu thickened lightly with corn starch. When I complained that I expected the tofu to be grilled with teriyaki sauce, she told me, and I quote, «Tofu cannot be grilled.» Oooooookay. 2. My daughter ordered the tempura plate and that’s what she got: Tempura vegetables and 1 scoop of rice for $ 10.00. Two piece of shrimp, yes, but fried, not tempura. 3. My other daughter got mongolian beef and chicken teriyaki for $ 11.00. It didn’t even fill up the Styrofoam container! And most of that was rice! I asked her how the teriyaki was, but she couldn’t taste it because the spiciness of the beef(at #3) overcame everything else. The side salads and egg rolls were bland and unexceptional. So nope, methinks not for sure!!!

Ok, so here’s the thing about the customer service, the regular front woman to the shop is eager to serve to the point of being pushy and rude. I called on the phone to place my order and during a 3:55 minute call I was put on hold twice. Whatever. I like the food and it’s convenient to my neighborhood.

When you first step into the small teriyaki shop, the cashier will greet you with a lot of enthusiasm! A bit overwhelming at first but she is just trying to be nice. It’s a family owned business and most of their selection is homemade(including their teriyaki sauce! Yum!) The place is a bit small and dingy. Not totally unattractive but not the best lighting or decorations. I would have to say that their chicken katsu is the best lardy I have ever tried(so far). It’s very juicy and has a lot of flavor. This place is a def recommendation if you want a casual to go meal!

The lady at the counter is a NIGHTMARE! Rude, impatient, loud. I was greeted by her peeking through the curtain and screaming«wait a minute!» at me. Then she came out and I was opening my mouth to order, she said«maybe you ring the bell when you’re ready??» So I ordered over her rudeness(orange chicken). Then she asked if I’d been there before. I said no and was immediately bombarded with a sales pitch about how good their food is and how it’s marinated for 3 days and all homemade and fresh and how it’s the same as Chinese food back in China, but 40% cheaper. etc, etc, etc. Then I sat down for my 15 minute wait, which included listening to her scream at customers. Apparently that’s how she greets them. A few minutes later, one of her regulars comes in and orders what I had. After loudly chatting with him, she goes back in the kitchen and comes out with my food. and says to the guy” I’ll give it to you first.”, hands him MY food and continues yelling things at him as he heads out the door. Then I finally get called up. Or, rather, YELLED up. I’m not even sure what she said, but I assumed it was me since I was the only person in there. So as I walk up there, she opens the to-go box and damn near shoves it in my face saying something along the lines of «see how fresh??» And adds«if you want it crispy you need to eat it right away because the steam makes it soggy.» And as for the food? It should be called the Crabtree Special because it’s mediocre at best. I won’t be going back, mainly because of how rude and loud she is. If you decide to try it out, make sure you order it to go. Or bring earplugs.

I love this place most favorite teriyaki restaurant. I’ve have been coming here for 2 ½ years and there has never been a mistake or anything. The lady that works there is super friendly and very talkative. Her and her family own the business. And they are all great. She may have a loud voice but that’s just the way she is. I love there teriyaki and gyoza combo it’s amazing to me. Very delicious. Love coming there :)

Great place and great food! The owner is super friendly and takes so much pride in her restaurant. She was great with my daughter and even offered her dessert if she finished her meal! We don’t live very close, but will make sure to stop by when we are in the area!

«HI! AREYOUREADYTOHAVETHEBESTTERIYAKIINTHEWORLD?! OURCHICKENISMARINATEDFORTHREE(3) DAYS! YOU’LLLOVEIT, I GUARANTEE, BUTNOMONEYBACK» This is a mad house.(Because of miss psycho) all she does, as mentioned, yells… literally. about her delicious 3 day old chicken that tastes like saw dust. I did take out of grilled chicken. Went home and tried it. Couldn’t even eat a single piece of this«delicious chicken». I called miss ‘ready to blow out your eardrums’ and told her that her chicken was dry as dry ice. She simply repeated, «NOTHISCANTBE, OUR3DAYOLDCHICKENISMARINATEDFOREVER. SOITSHOULDBEMOIST». I then asked if I can come in and show her and maybe get another dish. She said, «NO. YOUALREADYPAYEDFORWHATYOUWILLHAVETOEAT» This is why I won’t go back here ever AGAIN. This lady is a wonderful advertiser though. ! MAYBETHAT’S WHATHERTRADESHOULDBE! Save your money and go to Ichi teriyaki off if Meeker ave. or yummy teriyaki off of military rd.

I love the chicken fried rice… This is the only place where my young children are not picky with their food they actually beg to be taken there. The owners are very nice and always so welcoming! Love that they make their food fresh, with natural ingredients. :)

Teriyaki is not flavored, too bland, and the owner is absolutely rude. I’ve been here twice and both times she is screaming at a customer, telling them how amazing her food is! Yikes! Will not be going back. For any reason.

I like this place, the service is friendly and prompt and the food has been consistently good to me. I’ve always ordered it to go so I can’t really comment on eating there and haven’t stayed long enough to notice the coldness inside the restaurant. I usually get the chicken and pork combo and recently tried their beef bento box which was pretty good as well. Also I really like their gyoza and their egg drop soup is tasty too.

This isn’t four stars out of all restaurants, but it’s definitely four stars when it comes to Teriyaki places. Pros: –Hot food –Friendly service –Hang out for the police(which means it’s fast, cheap, and worthy of your taste buds) –Clean My favorites: –Regular and spicy chicken teriyakis are above average –The miso soup. It’s quite different than most miso and comes in a much larger bowl –Their Chinese sweet chicken, in small amounts(it’s very filling) –House teriyaki sauce, it’s thick and potent –Endless free tea Cons: –Sometimes when the regular chef isn’t it, the fried food isn’t done as well –A bit drafty inside –Slightly pricier than some Teriyaki places
