Picked up dinner from here last night. Called it in and they said it would be ready in 15 min and it was. Too bad no one was at the counter when I arrived and I had to wait 5 min for someone to show up. Looks like they were extremely busy and don’t have enough people in the kitchen, so the(owner maybe?) was boxing up orders in the back. Food was good and they are just down the street. We’ll definitely be back again.

This is my go to for teriyaki chicken and beef the spicy option is berry good to. I love that it comes with two orders or rice and a salad and the meat options area generous portion. Great little place with great food and great service.

Walking in, the man was there right away to take our order. I knew I just wanted teryaki so I picked chicken and beef. I wanted to try both and I honestly loved the chicken. I’m a big fan of teryaki I even cook that at home a lot for my husband and I. This is one of the best and I wish I can get the owner’s recipe. It’s like homemade food which I love because the food gives me that comfort of home feeling. I preferred chicken over beef. I dont really care for the beef and I would get all chicken next time. The rice wAs definitely well cooked and I love rice with soy sauce and the teryaki chicken. The prices are so reasonable and fair, on a tight budget, this is your place!

Lunch special here is pretty good, cheap($ 6.99), and gives a lot of meat. They also give complimentary egg drop soup and tea. The owner is very friendly and the food is fast! I am coming back here for sure!

The food here is always on point. We’ve had several of the items to go, from the spicy soup, to the Mongolian beef, udon noodle soup and the chicken fried rice. You can’t go wrong. Good price, great taste, and fast service. Call your order in and pick it up.

Slow lunch service! Not good if you’re in a hurry. Take it to go if you are. The spicy chicken wasn’t very spicy, but the portion is generous. Nothing too fancy, just decent teriyaki. Place gets very busy at lunch and is very small. So yourself a favor and take it to go.

Good, solid teriyaki, but nothing extraordinary. Fast, friendly service for take-out. I ordered chicken teriyaki. The chicken was good with plenty of teriyaki sauce. The steamed rice was good. The«salad»(just iceburg lettuce, really) was okay; the salad dressing was really tasty. I’ll probably visit again since they’re so close to where I live.

The teriyaki here is delicious! The service was friendly and fast. I was there today and the dining room was full, apparently there are plenty of others who know about this little gem of a teriyaki joint.

I am dating someone who is mixed Asian, and I am very into the Asian culture. This being said, I love teriyaki and yakisoba — not to mention many other dishes. I go to Konich’s Teriyaki for all of my usual teriyaki place cravings — I have tried many teriyaki places all the way from Portland, to Vancouver, WA to Thurston County and this place is my favorite! The owners are nice, but they can be quiet — please don’t take it as unfriendliness. They are just trying to do their job and give you the warmest, freshest food as soon as they can!(and suceeding big time)

Started going to this place in college 15 years ago. It was always my favorite. I’d often wait and make a special stop here coming down i5 just to hit this spot. It’s changed hands a couple times. The first The first new owners change the sauce and screwed everything up. But now… It seems back to normal. Yes! I’m just heading down to Tacoma from Seattle now. My wife called and asked me to stop at Konichs teriyaki shop to get her the chicken and beef. Glad to! I was wanting some chicken teriyaki myself. Score! Takeout was ready in 15 min as promised. Great place.

Delicious teriyaki, fast takeout service, and friendly staff! I always order the spicy chicken teriyaki, which is very tasty, and their salad dressing is also delicious. I always put a lil dressing on the rice to break it apart and add flavor, so the dressing is a big thing for me. Will definitely keep going back :)

Just like any otfher Teriyaki place I have gone to over the years. The food was good, service was kind. The biggest reason why I do not rate this place higher then I do is because it does not stand out from other Teriyaki restaurants I have eaten at over the years. Also, it is a major challenge to get into/out of the parking lot it is located in from where I live.

Decent food, decent service. A little pricier than the food merits, but not obnoxiously so.

Yummy teriyaki. Just a drag waiting to get your food if you dine-in. Takes too long in my opinion. It’s probably best to just order your food to-go.

really yummy salad dressing and the teriyaki was pretty much what you would hope teriyaki to taste like. fast service with clear popularity amongst the kentonians(?) despite feeling grumpy about waylaid plans on a saturday due to stupid car troubles(clearly i am still having«issues» letting the grudge against car dissapate away…) konich’s was a lovely surprise. clean with seats and even a little bit of tea if you look for it. owner was very friendly and hubs and i def let full. yay!

Traveling and eating is always a bit iffy, but this place had good reviews, so we figured we’d check it out. Walking in, it looked a bit like a ‘food court’ style asian hole, so we weren’t quite sure. Boy am I glad we gave it a try! The food was delicious, fresh, and very generous portions. The ‘side salad’ that came with our meals was nothing exciting(green lettuce with a sprinkle of shredded carrot & cabbage), but it was crisp & fresh, and the dressing was good. If I ever drive this way again, I’ll definitely keep this place in mind!
