I was in town to visit our new granddaughter, but really needed a haircut. I decided to check out Unilocal and choose a salon. Trixie’s had some great reviews so I decided to take a chance and it was the best decision I made. I booked an appointment with Haley using their website and it was fast and easy. She started out with a head and neck massage. Wow. What a way to start the day. She then dry cut my hair, then washed my hair massaging my scalp. It felt so good. She then cut my hair exactly as I asked. I am so pleased how it turned out. If I lived here, this would be my permanent hair salon. Thanks for a great experience.

This professional Aveda concept boutique feeling salon is a must!
I’ve gotten traditional haircuts to wild pixies and have left with nothing but smiles and complements!
Clean salon with great customer service! There company’s culture really seems to reflect on there clientele.
Great prices and for any walk of life!
They are regulars on kcwi’s «Great Day!» I’ve had the pleasure of being one of there models for there transformation make overs!
This salon really spruces up this part of the southside!
The owner Trisha really cares about her employees and giving back to the community.

Went here to get my hair cut during my temporary stay in Iowa. Katie cut my hair, and she showed me how to color my eyebrows. She did a good job on both, but not sure I’ll be able to do the eyebrow like she showed me. Prices were very reasonable, way less than what I am used to. I paid $ 46 plus tip for the cut and eyebrow shaping/​waxing/​coloring. I’m used to paying this for just a CUT! Not to mention, she was fast! I got my hair washed, cut, styled, and the eyebrows done in 45 minutes!
No place to park the RV. I came here in a rental car.

Trixies is definitely my favorite salon I’ve ever been to! I go to Delaney and she does a great job every time! The pricing is fair and the atmosphere is so fun! You can tell all of the stylists love their job at Trixies :) Also the appointments are super easy and fast to make! Go to Trixies, you won’t regret it!

Trixies is a top-​notch salon located on the south side right off Army Post and SE 14th next door to Applebees and by Southridge Mall and the new DMACC Southridge location. The owner, Tricia, is beyond generous and a savvy business professional. She considers her employees family and is so supportive of them and their professional development and this shows in the atmosphere and the quality of work the do. This is an Aveda concept salon… so expect pampering and great natural products to be used. Also feel good that Trisha gives so much back to her community so it is a great business to support.
