Its a nightclub inside the casino. They do show sports on large projectors etc. This place gets packed and does charge a cover after a certain hour. The service is very spotty depending on bartenders. The drinks are expensive for the measured pours and the bottle service is on par with prices from downtown. The security are usually overbearing and rude.

My first time here. There was a private event being held and we had to wait to come in. We ordered several appetizers and a copious amount of drinks. The food was sub par. The nachos had stale chips and flecks of «steak» that didn’t taste like anything, let alone steak. Southwest egg rolls, meh. Sliders, didn’t bother because the meat looked overdone. Chicken tenders is Dennys quality. Nothing was that good. We should have heeded other around us because NOONE was eating except us. Games were on each TV. I’m not into sports but didn’t care one way or the other. I found it annoying when the music started to be blasted and I couldn’t hear my friends right next to me. Turn it down a bit. The drinks were decent. My girlfriends loved the pomegranate martinis. Bartender cut off my friend for having three drinks and a shot??? Never had that happen before. There was no reason for that. She also threw away my drink before I was finished. When I told her she threw it away when I wasn’t finished, she snobbishly said there wasn’t much left and gave me another and then proceeded to tell the other bartenders who all turned and stared at me. Um, definitely won’t be going back. A few hundred dollars spent here and we were rushed out and treated poorly. I’d rather have a decent meal and great service for that kind of money. Definitely not worth the money spent here. AVOIDTHISPLACE!

I’ve been going to the cube for the past couple years, and I’ve seen it go straight downhill. When it first opened it was great, amazing DJ, great crowd and a real fun place to be. Now? 50+ crowd on the prowl, rude and obnoxious bartenders and bad music. They added go go dancers, not sure why? But a few years ago that wouldn’t have been necessary.

OK, the cube is part of the rivers casino, which has its drawbacks. Normally, I am not one to hang in a casino. However, the cube has tons of TVs for sports, good music bands, etc. I come back because the bartenders are awesome. Friendly, efficient, and always remembering what o like. In fact, Dave and Amanda are really great servers. Stop in, even if you don’t want to gamble.

I always get a little scared when I check a place on Unilocal and most reviews are 4 years old. This was the case when friends invited me to pop a bottle at Cubed and I didn’t know what to expect with 0 info/pics to prepare myself. I figured it’d be a lot of suburbanites, drinking and dancing. I was right. The space itself looks like a nice lounge with tall tables in front of a huge glass bar, leather couches on a lower level, facing the stage and good amount of dancing space. It was not dingy or nasty in any way but not a huge club. There was a 90s cover band doing the rock classics and they were good, no Spazzmatics but I’ll take it. Like other reviews mentioned, there was definitely a mix of people’s attire. Some kids looks like they were going to prom, some old people in sweats and sneakers and my friends lookin hot in nightclubwear. We didn’t purchase drinks since we had a hookup but I’m sure it’s cheaper than any city bar. After the band finished, a dj did his thang but it wasn’t that good. We wanted a break from the inside and walked to the patio. Music from this decade was playing! The Dj was a lot better but the creep level was 100xs higher. I kept telling my friends when we danced, I felt like we were little fishies being circled by sharks. No one did anything but 100 constant creepy stares were enough. Unless I’m again drinking for free, this place is not my cup of tea. Maybe if I turn into an old creepy dude.

Went to see American English, good band and venue i might add, a man in the vip area throws his shoe and hits a lady in the head and refuses to apologize Security allows the gentelman to stay in the bar despite the fact that he is drunk. and continue to drink and later bumps my friend. Asked for the head of security who claims he threw the shoe but didn’t mean to hit the lady. What he really meant was he was too much of a wimp to throw out a vip member who was overserved

Not quite a club, nor a sports bar. If your thinking a club like in Vegas inside of a casino, you will be disappointed! The Friday I stopped in they had a live band, and then regular DJ playing your standard mix of top 40’s. It was a nice crowd of young and old, some dressed to party some in jeans, so it’s a nice variety, and it did get crowded, and it looked fun! That’s what everyone had in common here, everyone was having fun dancing and lounging. If your coming to gamble, stop in the cube and have a drink, it’s laid back, no fuss, no bottle service, just good bartenders and good drinks, with decent music and a good crowd. The sports bar happens earlier in the evening when Hawks play, or football on Sundays. You may have to check out the schedule to find out what happens when.

For the March madness elite eight games, my buddy and I were looking for a spot with plenty of drinks, table service and large screens. Let’s try that bar at the casino. Big mistake. When we walked in half the bar was closed and the one bar tender was very much in the weeds. When we were able to make eye contact and order drinks, we had to wait until he cleared dishes, and processed a few orders. Why wouldn’t the bar have more staff for a Thursday? The casino was packed with players and the screens were filled with basketball for the two big games. Poor management seemed to be sending us a message right there. ‘Go somewhere else’ We asked the bartender if they were serving food and held up the bar menu. He looked at it and me and said yes. So, we looked it over and made our selections. I’m not going to get into the food choices because when I returned to place the order, we were informed that he gave us the wrong menu. We weren’t supposed to use the menu on the bar but the one page laminated card with five choices. Stunned, I asked him if I mis-understood. Surely, he didn’t just tell me that they have menus out that they weren’t using. No, he shook his heads and said sorry but yes, the card was the menu today. Of the burger choices, they had a ‘hamburger.’ So, we thought we’d stick this out, order burgers and watch some hoops on the big screen. I was wrong. A hostess came along and placed a reserved sign on our table. We said we would be here throughout the night for both games. She looked at us puzzled and said we could stay until 9pm but then she had a group coming in and we would have to go. We told her we were here to watch the game — of which most of the people in the bar were doing since it was the national championship tourney for NCAA basketball. She laughed —(really) — and said that the DJ would be starting at 9pm and the games would be taken off the big screen. We stood up, explained to the bartender that the hostess would be taking care of our order because she’s kicking us out and left. We live locally and wouldn’t go back there. Who kicks out customers? Who doesn’t accommodate a customer with another table if they are showing a big sports game? Who doesn’t put away menus they aren’t using? Who under staffs their bar? It’s a good thing the casino reports a net income of $ 1 Million a day. The bar isn’t the draw.

I’m from the city but work in Elk Grove, when traffic is backed up on 90 and I’m grabbing my stearing wheel and cursing out loud like the guy in Office Space I pull off and grab a beer at the Cube. Not a bad place for an after work drink in the burbs. There usually inst a big crowd and service is good. Good after work bars are hard to find in the burbs and this place a has a good atmosphere and a good cocktail menu. I’ve never been here past 7:30pm during the week so I cant give an honest review for anything beyond that time frame…

So here is why I gave Cube 2 stars: It was my first time here for my boyfriend and sister’s birthdays. We got there around 11pm on a Saturday night. Valet was only $ 5. Coat check was complimentary so that was a good start! They played pretty good music, mostly top 40’s but it definitely kept people dancing. Here go the cons: Cover charge to get into Cube was $ 10, I felt that was a bit much once we got inside and had the whole experience. It was super packed, very hard to squeeze into the bar to get a drink. I thought $ 6 for a mixed drink was pretty reasonable until I drank it and discovered how watered down they were! The crowd was VERY odd. Saw everything from an orange looking old lady to a 21yr old wannabe stripper dancing chick to a 60yr old man trying to dance with my friend who’s in her 20’s! Oh and I can’t forget to mention the super tall cowboy who was putting up a Magic Mike show for this old Asian lady! Last but not least, valet must have forgotten about bringing us our car because after waiting for it 30min. I went back to the counter to check and sure enough they somehow missed it. It was brought to us shortly and the valet guy did apologize and even offered us a water or red bull which was nice! All in all it was a fun night but I don’t know if and how soon I would be going back.

What I liked about this place, that no matter how old you were, you enjoyed it. The DJ played literally every type of music, and the crowd seemed to enjoy every bit of it. Everyone was was dancing and having fun, even the 70+ old man. The drinks are watered down though, and they are pricey. I didn’t mind a bot, because my friends and I came here after a party, so we were pretty liquered up. Overall, its a nice place to be on a Saturday, once every now and then.

Just visited the Cube for the first time. The DJs played some pretty good mixes. The dance floor was crowded and everyone was having a good time. The crowd was a mix of young and old. Some hot some not. Mostly an older diverse crowd 30+, but everyone danced and had a good time. Everyone was dressed up and seemed to just want to have fun. There were more women than men. That night had an unusual number of girls in the place so it was great to see them all dressed up and dancing. The music ranged from dub, hip hop, pop, to 80s /90s to latin. I didn’t really get drinks or food inside so I can’t comment on the prices. They had girls walking around offering free sample shots so I tried one. Staff was courteous. Place seemed pretty clean. If someone spilled a drink on the floor it was mopped up quickly. I liked it and would go back again. My friends and I had a lot of fun.

I just wanted to take the time out to write you and let you now that your Asst. Manager Cliff did a amazing job with our group this past weekend. Very courteous and professional made sure that everyone was taken care of. The bartender’s never seem as though they are over whelmed as busy as the place gets everyone is served quickly and they actually serve you a good sized shot when you order them. The music is awesome the Dj knew how to work the crowd and went through a very versatile music style that kept everyone dancing all night. The place is clean there is also a out door patio so if you need some fresh air it’s right there. Awesome time, awesome crowd and by far awesome staff!

Welcome, to an episode of The Real Housewives of Rosemont. Soccer Mom USA, that has the night away from the kids. Don’t forget about the 70+ year old guy in the corner dancing extremely off beat. And, that’s all I have to say about that…

*Not my idea to come here on a perfectly good saturday night* This place is all sorts of disappointment. From the lack of experienced bartenders(tip…always chill Vegas bombs), crapy old music to the totally creepy men walking around stinging your skin with their eyes. I thought this place was a nightclub, I arrived all dressed up but apparently a wife beater is considered black tie here.

«um. I don’t know if I remember how to dance…» As a woman in my 30s, I have been out of the dance club scene for many years. I don’t do bottle service, I rarely am out with my «dancing» friends(which makes me sad), and lots of times, I don’t quite have enough of the RIGHT liquor to get me out there. Cube changed all that. Are you going to judge me for having an awesome time at a suburban casino’s dance club(that is apparently sometimes a sports bar)? If so, don’t care. I will just say it: I had SOMUCHFUNHERE. I’m not much of a gambler, so on a recent Friday night after losing $ 20 in a slot machine in 2.2 minutes, my gal pal and I chose to hit up the club. Perhaps it was the stellar company(yes, one of those«dancing» friends that has known me since we both sported mouths-full of braces), perhaps it was the liquor of choice(tequiiiila!), or perhaps it was the great music playing. Maybe it was all of the above, coupled with the fact that EVERYONE danced. Young, old, hot, not-so-hot, Real Housewives of Schaumburg, business travelers… everyone was getting down. That’s my kind of place. Everyone was having a good time. So, it turns out after a few tequilas, I DO know how to dance. The cons: –Cover charge($ 5) –Pricey drinks($ 9) The pros: –See above, obv. –Once you’ve paid your cover, you can come and go as you please. So, take dance breaks from the gambling, guys. So if you find yourself in the casino and not wanting to gamble, or just looking for a break and in the mood to dance? Do it.

My wife and I stopped in during our visit to Rivers Casino on a Saturday night. The casino was packed. Five per to get in, not bad. Vodka cherry ran $ 8, they actually had a beer on tap that was $ 2, unheard of. The music was live DJ on stage, atmosphere check, party sections available by reservation next to dance floor. In addition to the main bar, they had a bar by the dance floor as well — nice. Best thing about this place is the variety of folks in regards to age and ethnicity. Usually at a dance place, my wife and I would stand out due to our age(39 – 42). Not here. There was just about everything in the house, young, old, and everything in between. They will also stamp your hand so you can step in and out all night as well. If you need to get your dance on but don’t want to go downtown, the cube will work. We’ll be back.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our trip to the Cube. We found it a nice relief after playing around in the actual casino. People are not kidding when they say that the best part is the variety of people this place attracts. We saw people from our age group 21+, to middle aged couples, to several groups of men in their seventies looking for someone to boogie with! Later in the night we even saw two separate bachelorette parties join in the fun. Although the drinks in Cube were more expensive than the Casino’s drinks($ 3 more) I thought they were well made. There was nothing weak about them, not in my opinion. I watched them make both a cranberry and vodka as well as a martini and both were adequately full and drowned in vodka. Despite their plastic cups, which are a little sore on the eyes, I thought the drinks were fine. The DJ was great, he played a fun mix of modern songs with some fun oldies. I love a place where I can get down to ‘September’ by Earth Wind and Fire, and then jam to ‘Hot in Here’ two minutes later. The music was awesome and kept us dancing for hours on end. I think if you’re out for a good time, some good laughs, and to meet some nice people the Cube is a nice place to go. Is it the best club? No. However, you can go there and not feel like you’re going to get robbed or ground on by every nasty guy on the dance floor. It’s a light hearted place with an interesting mix of people who want to get a little buzzed and have a good time. Nothing wrong with that. We definitely plan on going back with a group of friends.

I’ll give it Five stars! There’s this one tall male bartender who always has a very nice big wide SMILE on his face offering great & excellent customer service! I requested that he serve my vodka and cranberry juice in a wine glass instead of the regular glasses and he said…“Oooh sure no problem at all!” Then he did it with a huge smile. They’re always really nice there. I love the crazy, crazy mixed aged crowd that shows up at this little swanky bar. I don’t think that there’s more entertaining people watching than at the the Cube Bar in Rivers Casino! Everyone is always very passionate about their dancing and socializing at this place… So much FUN there! Yes, it’s a little bit pricey, but if you have your money who cares, it’s a casino, everything is pricey. People are behind this club plopping down hundreds of dollars just throwing it all away. I say come inside Cube, spend about $ 48-$ 50 bucks on about six cocktails for the night, dance the night away and have a good time, if you’re not particularly into gambling that is. Take a peek at their website to KEEPANEYEOUTFORTHEIRJULYLIVEMUSICBANDSERIES. They have some really great live local bands lined up, playing lots of live music all the time!

I was here last Friday night. Good vibe. I like the variety of music on a weekly basis. The crowd is unique and fun to people watch. The drinks are terrible though. Very weak and expensive for what you get. I ordered a vodka sprite and it came in those little clear plastic cups. It was $ 6.00. Maybe two shots of Sprite and half a shot of vodka can fit in those things. Step it up Cube. You’re a casino. You’re better than this. Also, all the bartenders were very rude. They seemed as if they were too busy to help us. I am sorry that my drink order has to end your conversation with the other bartender. Next time ignore me so that I don’t overpay for a crappy drink. Rivers is still my favorite casino around; however, I will def pregame before going to Cube again. They need better staff and management.
