Great local business! My heat went out in this freezing weather and he was here IN20MINUTES!!! Very nice and professional and got the heat back on as quick as he could! Highly recommended!!!

I have been using Don’s Appliance for more than 15 years and I have the upmost confidence in their service. I have never been overcharged for anything. I have always been consulted whenever there was additional service that needed to be done(and it was rare that I needed anything additional other than the regular clean and check). I have no idea what the agenda is of this other person who posted but there is something odd there. I don’t know how this person could have been dealing with«Don himself» since his son runs the business and has for years. He also does not have any additional helpers at this time and hasn’t for a while. Like I said, I have no idea what this persons agenda is but it’s really not nice to take out a personal vendetta on Unilocal where it can impact someone’s business.

For the record,…I am enlisted to give at least one star to help you??? I would not give that? Here is what I learned from dealing directly with Don himself at Dons Appliance! 1. Dealing with the owner does not offset the level of distrust and manipulation! 2. Never let two«appliance repair» men into your home! If you must,.NEVER allow them in two areas of your home in which you do not have eyes on them! 3. Work Don initiates, or a kid he sends to your HVAC unit with a vacuum, above and beyond without your approval is not for you to pay! 4. Anything Don sells you, quickly Google for a comparative price as you will get taken,…and learn later at Home Depot where his van visits often! 5. GET A PRICE! AGREETOTHATPRICE! Only pay that price! Only pay another price IF you were informed and agreed! 6. Emergency Service is not the first call of the morning made on the way out of the house… but Dons Emergency Fees appear as if «inconvenience» was extended? 7. Ask any technician walking into your house with Don for anything of any certification, HVAC education or license for anything,…even a car??? Good luck? Buyer beware! Appliance repair is a gamble but I am blessed to use a very reputable Heating and Air conditioning company these days! Night and Day! The new«licensed’ HVAC technician first explained the obvious that was never done by Don! Then he undid the little Don said he did! Repairs that Don didn’t attempt, or know to attempt, needed additional work and component replacement because of what Don didn’t do… or didn’t want to do on his Emergency Call on the way into the office? Don saw my freezing house, my kids and my desperate situation and boy did he use it to his advantage? I was without heat all night and was using the fireplace. I called Don in the wee hours emergently but received a call at his convenience in the morning! Desperate, and in need of heat on a frigid cold morning,…I did what I did to get my family warm!
