Josh is outstanding! I used to work in Des Plaines when I started using this GNC, I an now retired but enjoy driving back to this GNC store from Glenview despite the fact that I have other GNC stores nearby. Customer service and satisfaction is clearly a priority for Josh.

I had about an hour to get all the goodies I needed for Ragnar Relay before I had to pick up the van and pick up our participants. I had stopped at Target first and hoped they would be a one-​stop shop, but I was only able to find Clif Bars and Gatoraid. I was looking for the Gatoraid Energy Chews or something similar and was having trouble finding them.
Mary T told me I should try some sports stores, so I figured GNC might be a good place to try since they specialize in sports supplements and this location wasn’t very far from where I was. I stopped in and Josh Witt helped me out. He informed me they didn’t have the Gatoraid Chews, but directed me to some other options and showed me where to get GU. It was elsewhere.
He never pressured me to purchase anything that I didn’t need and even suggested that I try one of the local cycle stores. I hold great respect for any place that will steer you to a competitor. They may not be exactly the same type of stores, but he could have just as easily tried to get me to buy a bunch of other items in place of what I came for.
We talked a bit about the race I was doing. He wished me luck and I was out of there in no time!

This GNC had great customer service, Josh is very helpful and knowledgeable. Helped me every time and all his products he told me to get worked amazingly for me and i seen results.
I feel a lot more healthier also.
Josh explains everything you ask him and he knows everything.

Of all the GNCs in the area I have to agree with Chris T. this is by far the best one. I’m new to the fitness world and have actually found it quite intimidating to walk into the other GNCs around us, but there is something different about this one in comparison to the others.
What’s are some of the biggest differences?
The employee (s) — While I have never met Josh, I did meet Zack. Zack knows his stuff and being that he’s a personal trainer, he’s able to guide you to what he would recommend for you if your looking for a suggestion. I found this quite useful because I was able to ask him questions and know that he wasn’t just selling a product, to sell a product, but because he believed that the product could potentially work for me. What surprised me about him was the fact that he knew the products on the shelf, so well that he didn’t have to look at the labels on the box to tell me about it. Needless to say, I have been using his recommendations and while its only been a few days I have no complaints.
Where as with other locations you’ll be walking in to see miles and miles of products on the shelf that will leave you questioning what to get. I firmly believe that this GNC carries what someone looking to get fit and stay fit needs, which is great because they’ve already, in my opinion, weeded out the fluff.
So I’m giving this place what it so rightfully deserves 5 stars!

Not only does he know what he’s talking about, he is a true gentleman and nice guy! By far the best GNC in the area!!!

Every last time I go in this store, the same guy is there. Not sure if he is the owner or not.
He is a genius. He knows alot about vitamin/​herbal supplements and how they work in the body. I would not have a problem recommending that if they had any questions about their health and wanted to try something alternative, this is the place!
