Store #5711 is a joke and will not ever go back. Probably operating at a loss too. I’m going to make the switch elsewhere, Store Mgr Tracy needs to be gone; clueless. Didn’t want to say… «I work @ Corp. Deerfield» card. Sent an email to so it’s on his team’s radar. Major disconnect between Corp & Retail Field Ops.

Senior 1st Tuesday I went there. Got so frustrated trying to find things — only one person in the aisles . Did not have many of my items. Got the senior discount but when I went to use rewards points the computers were down or something, according to the checkout person. I could not use my rewards. I left and headed to another store.

Nice store, gross bathrooms. There was a ‘caution wet floor’ as if they had just cleaned the bathroom. But I soon realized the cleaning had to be minimal because there was no toilet paper. Boo.

I’ve gone here since the olé one pump gas station was torn down and this convenient location was added to our lovely intersection, but my last two visits in particular have been disappointing at best, but yesterday gave me enough pause to throw down a low star review. I walked in with a bottle of Asprin my wife has mistakenly bought, and in the chaos of the last few weeks, we lost the reciept. I find a Assistant Manager(I presumed) at the photo counter who says he can help me and just return it as a store credit. I say, «Great!» and I’m off to pick up some milk. Only thing is, when I go to pay, I discover that Walgreens«Store Credit» doesn’t cover milk. There must be some mistake, so I ask for a manager. The same disinterested manager makes his way over and plainly tells me it’s just their policy and there is nothing he can do because it’s their policy. While I’m not a fan of this odd policy I accept it. I can still use the card, just not on milk(or a host of other things). Though it was Brian’s(the manager) lack of interest and attitude that really put me off. He seemed agitated with me for not being able to understand why I could not purchase a simple grocery item with a store credit he had just issued me. He explained that its different when I don’t have a receipt. When asked why this limitation wasn’t explained earlier when I was returning the item, he said«I didn’t need to, it’s written on the card» and pointed to the back of the card. Ok. The card you gave me after the transaction was completed? Brian, I can tell you just want the night to be over so you can go home as it’s 7pm, but at least have the decency to explain to a customer who might not know the difference between a «no receipt return store credit» and a typical store credit before they try to use it. It’s a nice FYI, a decent thing to do, and people everywhere will appreciate it. Was it a HUGE deal? Not at all. I can use the card on future visits(though likely to another location). Does it tarnish my perception of Walgreens as a corporation? It sure does. Will I be returning for future visits to this incredibly convenient location? Going forward, I think my first choice will be one of the two 24hr Walgreens just a mile further down the line where I might just get a smile, «Hello!» or an explanation about store credit.

A nice place and right down the road from work. Drive thru pharmacy is great when I’m in a rush. And the pharmacy is pretty quick here so it’s nice and where I like to go if I need any meds filled.

Very clean and well organized store! This location is within walking distance of our home, so we go here frequently. Pharmacy staff is friendly and check-out is the fastest I’ve ever experienced at a pharmacy(even with buying an OTC that required a DL, check-out was super speedy).
