Had a reservation here tonight,(Oct 14th) had made it on Open Table. Drove to the restaurant only to find them closed. Called their number, which rang to the Emerald Grand front desk. I was told that they were closed for the season. How do they still take reservations when they are closed. Also shows that they are open on Unilocal. We drove 30 minutes to eat there. We will likely not make future reservations there. Not very professional!

Giving this two stars — 1 for the ambiance and 1 star for the food. This was hard to find from the parking deck. We were unsure of where to go as the restaurant is several levels and there was no one on the bottom level. Arrived at the restaurant and the hostess was away from the station but quickly came back and seated us. The place was empty(when every other place around was packed) — that should have been our first clue. There were only about 6 tables seated the whole time we were there and there were at least 3 servers. Our server came to the table a good 15 mins after we arrived(again, the place was pretty empty). She acted completely disinterested and even bothered that we were there. She never gave us bread(which was on everyone else’s tables) and took a while to refill our drinks. Our food took a while as well. The food was«ok”/good. The ambiance was nice — seems like a very upscale restaurant but the service there just made our experience awful. We won’t be coming back. Too many other great places that are worth the wait/cost.

We came here for my dad’s birthday and it was a wonderful birthday dinner. The view was beautiful, the food was delicious and the service was great! We had Craig as our waiter and we really liked him. We had the blue crab claws appetizer, which was an amazing start to the meal. We got the large order, which was more than enough for the eight of us. All of the entrees were very good. I especially liked the scallops. The portion of the tuna steak was very generous. We also had the grouper topped with crab, the snapper with fried oysters and the mixed seafood plate. For dessert we enjoyed the blueberry crème brûlée, the bourbon ice cream and the chocolate gelato. The parking was difficult because there is a Mardi Gras parade on the harbor every Tuesday, so we had to park down the street, but it was worth it because the dinner experience was so pleasant. We could see dolphins swimming in the harbor from our table, and the restaurant is situated to see the sunset. Our waiter said there are fireworks on Thursdays! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent food, beautiful view, friendly staff. We enjoyed the red snapper from the menu and a delicious seared grouper special. Perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Topped it off with crime brûlée and a bourbon ice cream. I would highly recommend.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner with a wonderful view of sunset over the Destin Harbor. We had the blue crab claws appetizer — they were very tasty and tender. I also enjoyed the black grouper entrée with asparagus. Unique concept in a beautiful space.
