Did not enjoy this expensive meal. I am all for having fresh ingredients and not messing them up but at least season the fish. Make something I can’t make at home easily. Premium Mac and cheese is another 6.5 dollars and really very poor. The kids Mac n cheese was better than it. Even the Bang bang shrimp were subpar today. On the plus side the kids liked their fish and fries. The service was excellent.

Brunch. The atmosphere is excellent, as you walk in it is quiet with relaxing music and dimmed lighting. Not a place where people yell over each other. Eggs Benedict and crème brûlée French toast are excellent and filling, though the sauces can be a bit heavy for some, but are complemented by the warm free bread. Service is great and non-intrusive. The price tags fit the place.

Good food & service as usual. Although this is a chain restaurant, they manage to keep a fairly local feel. In a place like Destin, surviving as a seafood restaurant can be tough, but Bonefish fits in & doesn’t come across as a wal-mart style fish franchise.

We drove down for a vacation and discovered this place thanks to the great Unilocal reviews. Absolutely did not disappoint– incredible food and incredible service. Also a great value(considering the portion sizes and ambiance). The servers are attentive and extremely professional! Love the food– will be back for sure!

When I found out that bonefish was here, told my wife we gotta go there. Had been there in Arlington and left pleasant memories. First up, the bang bang shrimp. Fantastic!!! If I only went for this, it was worth it. This appetizer is so good and great value for the amount you get. Then I had the tilapia tempura. Fish stuffed with scallops and crabmeat. Let’s just say I left nothing on the table. Our server too was excellent. Very courteous and attentive. Not used to asking waiters names but I should have. Really liked him. Anyway, go there. Worth it.

I had such a wonderful experience here, the food was amazing and the staff went above and beyond. I have many food allergies and the chef herself came out to speak with me and prepared my food in a sterile place in the kitchen separate from the rest to insure there was no cross contamination. They were so kind and attentive, I will definitely be returning here in the years to come. They also gave us nice seating with plenty of room for my infant son in his stroller.

We frequently eat at this Bonefish Grill. The food is consistently very good and the service has always been excellent – even when the place is packed. And, unfortunately, for many locals, it does get packed on a regular basis. The crowds are especially large during the busy summer season when the roads in Destin are overrun with cars and the beaches are full of summer visitors. As a result, most of our dining experiences here are during the off season. We usually eat in the bar area. The ambiance is pleasant although it can get very loud as the evening wears on and many of the bar patrons have been enjoying their drinks for awhile. The house salad at Bonefish is excellent. The salad dressing is accompanied with a vinaigrette has a great flavor, the lettuce and tomatoes are fresh and the pine nuts add flavor and variety. There are always specials for the day. They tend to be more expensive, often include crab on the fish or other seafood. On our most recent experience at this restaurant, there was a special for two people for $ 25 apiece. The meal included an appetizer, two entrees and a dessert. The bang bang shrimp appetizer, was spicy and tasted very good. We brought about half of it home for dinner the next day as the portion was substantial. The lobster stuffed shrimp was excellent. The haddock was covered with an excellent feta cheese and artichoke sauce with provided an outstanding flavor. The broccoli and green beans accompanying the meal were also very good. For dessert we had a strawberry short cake. The biscuits were cooked perfectly and the strawberries were fresh. It was a delightful meal. Bonefish also has an excellent selection of wines available. There is a happy hour with some of the house wines sold at a substantial discount. Personally, I do not care for the house wines and, after trying this special one time, never tried again. I much prefer adding a quality wine to accompany an excellent meal and wines such as Copper Ridge are inexpensive but lacking in flavor and body. If I am not in the mood for paying for the better wine, I prefer the iced tea but, for those with a different taste, the happy hour does provide an inexpensive alternative. When the restaurant is very crowded, we strive to be pleasant to the servers who are under the stress of dealing with many people as quickly as possible. Overall, the servers who work there are excellent and do a very good job. In short, when in Destin, Bonefish Grill is an excellent option for eating out.

Had terrible service and waitress also knocked over a beer and water. Had some cold food and manager asks us what will make you happy. They should have comped our poor meal. They replaced the beer never took care of my wet meal or clothes, etc. sorry bonefish u may have lost a customer.

This review is long overdue, as Bonefish Grill is my long time favorite in Destin. I actually really like that it is part of a small chain, because standards are always kept up in every aspect of casual fine dining. The ambiance is spot on, the food is consistently fantastic, the wine selection is every revolving and current(plus who can complain about $ 3.50 Happy Hour house wines from 4:30 — 6:30?!) and the price is BEYOND fair. Perfect for basically any occasion from a romantic date to family get together to small bar snack & drinks. Can’t beat it!

I always have appetizer’s for dinner. I had the Tuna which was really salty and the ceviche which had no flavor at all… But I can always count on their bread being good! Service was on the slow side as the place wasn’t even full.

We had a great meal here. I had grouper topped with lobster which was amazing. Good service and nice clean place. Bonefish is probably my favorite chain… they serve real food.

My boyfriend and I have been going here for some time and the food is always an absolute treat. Fontina chop is by far my favorite though I’ve never had a bad meal. Tina was our server and was such a joy to be around. She was extremely helping in making everything perfect and went above and beyond with everything down to making sure I ate the donuts fresh.(Well worth the food baby). If ever in town looking for a great experience or just stoping by for lunch you will be greatly taken care of by the lovely people that make up the bonefish grill family.

Give this a play by play… We had been planning on Oystets Rockefeller… at 7pm they are out of Oysters. We ask for bang bang shrimp appetizer with sauce in side… it came with sauce on it. Took an hour to get out entrees. Food was good, service was good and manager comped our entire food bill… we were a group of 13. We will be back. I

Stopped here for dinner after a day of back to school shopping. We made it just in time to beat the dinner rush. It was freezing in there wish I had a smoking jacket, minus the smoking. They have lots of seating and a low light ambiance, don’t go tired you might fall asleep. Now on to the grub, we ordered the calamari for starters came out fast and was quite yummo. The portion size is a little small for the price though. My main meal was the grilled chicken summer salad, it was more of a autumn salad. Again the portion size was small, I had about three cubes of frozen mangoes. They put so much bleu cheese in the salad I could’ve started world war 3. It was to bitter to finish or enjoy. On a great note our server was awesome, very helpful and amusing. I thought she was the chef, but they all wear chef coats. I would definitely go back again.

Bonefish Grill is excellent despite being a chain. I try to avoid chains whenever I travel to venture out and experience local options and to support the local economy. However, Bonefish exceeded my expectations! Nicer, more upscale atmosphere, but not too fancy /stiff — still somewhere that anyone from families, college students, to daytime professionals can go to have a very nice dinner. Bonefish features a full bar with some unique concoctions. I had a local beer that was a good, but average brew. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of it. Everyone talks about the Bang-Bang Shrimp, so one may think it’s just a fad or trend. This is not the case. The Bang-Bang Shrimp are truly marvelously delicious! All their seafood is very well put together. This location has daily fresh caught specials, which are highly recommended. I had grilled Red Snapper that was one of the best I’ve had. Lots of side and appetizer choices. Mike, our server, was energetic, friendly, and really knew the menu well. He gave great recommendations and was thorough in taking everyone’s orders. If only all servers could be like him…

We have a Bonefish Grill at home, but wanted to give this place a shot. First and foremost, the service sucks. Hostess was very rude and so was everyone one else in this establishment. At first the waitress was a tad rude also, but then she got better throughout the night. We had the following: — Cold Snap Fresh Ceviche — served in a frozen glass made entirely of ice, chilled bay scallops, shrimp, fresh fish, vegetables, avocado, cucumber, jalapeño, citrus, cilantro + warm tortilla chips — this sucked because of the glass made of ice, it melted and the water went everywhere. and it really watered down the ceviche — Bang Bang Shrimp — crispy shrimp tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce — this is good as always, the crispy shrimp with the delicious creamy sauce — Mussels Josephine — Prince Edward Island Mussels sautéed with tomatoes, red onion, garlic, basil + lemon wine sauce — these mussels were only decent, if that. — Chilean Sea Bass — this was actually very delicious and tasty — Hawaiian Ribeye — they failed on this one, the steak was way too sweet, and the cooking style of the steak was very unappetizing Nevertheless, note to self, when in Destin, do not dine here.

We have Bonefish Grills in MD but it took me having to go down to FL for work to end up trying one out. I always assumed they were like Chilis or Appebees, with generic food and atmosphere. My co-worker loves Bonefish back home so we decided to hit this place up since it was near the hotel. I love the«grown-up» atmosphere of this place. Yea, there were families with children there but it never felt like a kids place. The bar was great and had a nice selection of wines and spirits. We ate our dinner there. Started off with their dirty martini which was tasty. It was apparently the night they have specials on bang bang shrimp so we got that as an appetizer. Quite delicious. My dish came with a side of jasmine rice. What restaurant serves jasmine rice rather than boring plain white rice, I thought? Nice fragrant touch. All of the food was good and the bar staff were very professional and friendly. Will have to visit a BG around here now.

5 stars was for the free ample parking, ambiance, fresh tasting food that’s not under or over seasoned, waitress and hostess were so nice and accommodating, and price was less than I would pay in Houston! I arrived at 9pm and they close at 10pm but the hostess and waitress made us feel welcomed and not rushed. Check out pics of food.

I’m being generous with the 2 stars… I don’t even know where to begin here. This was my first visit back after about 6 years as my experiences back then weren’t special. The hostess was friendly and we were brought to a table when we walked in, our reservation time. Great start but epic fail on all else, except the starter loaf of bread. It was warm and the pesto that came with it was tasty just not enough of it. Grilled Tilapia-Dry***Shrimp/Scallops-Bland and Chewy***Pasta-Over Sauced & Heavy***Chick Peas-Mushy***Jasmine Rice/Mashed Potatoes-ok*** Asked for a house salad to start, never got it. Ordered a beer with my meal, it finally arrived when I had one bite left on my plate. Service just wasn’t good, when the beer came and I stated we didn’t need it now he says«ok» with a shrug and walked off. Maybe I’ll try again in another 6 years :)
