Had breakfast here today. The coffee is advertised as an Amavida premium blend that is roasted locally– it is hearty and tasty as it should be at $ 3 on the menu. The setting is intimate and clean and the décor is attractive & calm. There are definitely some unique menu choices here. I want to try the Breakfast Sundae next time I come back. Today I had Granna B’s Bull’s Eye which has slices of toast with holes cut out in the middle filled with cooked eggs and covered in cheese & comes with bacon or sausage. My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy. The Granna B’s Bull’s Eye was perfect. I try to make this at home & it almost never turns out right. Today, the eggs were just right– not too runny/not too done. The bacon was thick & crispy with a generous portion. I also ordered a side of grits. It’s obvious the food here is homemade because the grits were creamy, buttery, and full– not like the kind you get at Waffle House. The waitress even commented that they take pride in making the grits«just right». The $ 2 side of grits comes in a bowl big enough for two people to share & adding salt and butter is not necessary. I tried my friend’s biscuits and gravy. Again, it wasn’t that typical mass-produced white gravy. Instead you could tell it was homemade with real bits of sausage over big fluffy homemade biscuits. Service was very friendly. I would definitely come here again.

Terrible service I mean absolutely awful. Forgot about us granted it was during the off season but still pretty bad. Had an egg sandwich and the avocado was brown and bread soggy. Head to the pancakery instead.

Great little local place and the owner is very charming. She spoke to us for 10 minutes and gave us ideas for things to do in Destin. Definitely recommend.

Excellent fresh food! Service was great, and the food was even better! Stop in to see the décor and have a great fresh cup of coffee. Had the bullseye toast(toast with a fried egg in the middle covered in cheddar cheese) it was very filling.

When I tell you the food was amazing it was worth every penny! People was very friendly, you can see that it was a family-oriented restaurant. Also, you much try the crab cake egg Benedict and omelet! We was very pleased!

Cute little brunch place in Destin Beach area. Great food and service. Hubby had shrimp and grits and the shrimp were large and fresh! I had the bullseye French toast which was great as well. Will definitely be back when we visit the beach another time.

Horribly slow service, no refills during my entire meal, cold sausage links brought to the table, omelettes looking like they were made using a mold, waffles served so tough they were hard to cut with a knife… Needless to say, my experience at The Breakfast Table Café was less than stellar. The place had promise upon entering, however, it all went downhill from there. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is that the Steak and Egg special with red-eye gravy was pretty good. Unfortunately, the aforementioned issues far outweighed the one glowing aspect from our visit.

My wife and I had the crab omelet and hash browns. I had a biscuit while she had toast. The eggs came from a bucket just like McDonalds and was as thin as a taco shell. Couldn’t find any crab meat and it was served at room temperature. The hash browns were also just like McDonalds but weren’t cooked on the inside. My biscuit was good but I was charged $ 1.50 extra for some reason. For the two of us I spend $ 31.00 plus tip. Not a good start to the day.

We stopped by on Spring Break in Destin! A local recommended this spot and it didn’t disappoint. The pancakes were huge. The French toast was great. The breakfast tacos were good. Everything in Destin is a tad bit overpriced but at least you get full with great service here. The owner was a sweetie. Yummy!

Not recommended, college students, looked to spend about 15 $ max a piece, which would be acceptable for breakfast for whoever for one single meal. It was sub par for our whole table, I say there while eating and said I’m going to throw in a oven pizza after this. Not acceptable, could have made everything in own kitchen. Trash, Mark off your to-do list.

Great place, calm, rustic environment. The food was great, I didn’t enjoy too much the omelet I had because it looked like a liquid egg omelet but I doubt it was. Price is decent for a place located in the heart of Destin. I’d definitely go back soon.

First things first, this place was so adorable! The decorations were so cute. It’s very small and a little hard to find(especially if you were being a tourist like me), but so adorable. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and a «Hello.» I went in with my now, Sister-in-Law and some of our conjoined family, the day of the wedding and she wanted to go to this little hole-in-the-wall for breakfast and dinner — before and after the wedding. I understand why. They greeted her by name and were also very nice to the rest of us. The restaurant was pretty busy when we walked in on a Saturday morning, but they had no problem seating us. Understandably, the food did take a little while longer than expected to come out, but it was so delicious once it did. I ordered a tall glass of orange juice(YUM) and I totally forgot what the main breakfast order I had was called(I know. Sorry.), but it was described similar to a quiche in like an egg form on the menu. I ordered it with the hash brown casserole and a biscuit. The cream butter for the biscuit was delicious! The quiche(or whatever its called), was very good. It wasn’t too dry, which was my main concern. The hash brown casserole was so good! Probably my favorite! The only problem is that the portion on the plate, as it is considered a side, was extremely small. I wish they just made that portion a little bigger. The biscuit was exactly what you’d expect. The prices are slightly higher than I’d expect for breakfast, but nothing that would honestly break the bank. Overall, this rating is attributed to the sweet and wonderful customer service, the nice décor and the food(at least mine). Some of the food could arguably be better, but my opinion is based on my meal and it was good enough for me :)

Perfectly good omelette, biscuit, and hash browns. With good coffee. They appear to use quality ingredients and do a good job preparing quality dishes. It’s casual, quaint, homey, local flavor is fine with me. We were served a bit slowly, but the place was crowded. Down the street at the Doughnut Hole the wait would have been 45 min., so relative to that — this was very fast. Nothing to write home about, but if you want a decent breakfast try it here.

I love that it was local. the eggs were some of the best eggs I’ve ever had in my life… I don’t know why that made me happy. but it did lol… pancake order was huge, filled up the entire plate with two pancakes they were good… stay away from the hash browns nothing special about them. they’re pressed into a little triangular cake they look better than they tasted, no seasoning. I would definitely recommend this place the staff is super nice and accommodating atmosphere was great and we didn’t have to wait too long it’s a great alternative the chains in the area.

We try to scout out a new breakfast place every vacation in Destin. This year, we landed on The Breakfast Table. It’s cute, quaint and the owners are nice and attentive. However, I can’t say that I was impressed with the food. Neither was anyone in my group. Between us, we ordered an omelette, a «breakfast», breakfast sandwich, breakfast burrito, chocolate chip pancakes(my son and daughter said that the chocolate chips were nasty — not sure what was going on there) and I got the Breakfast Sundae. I added avocado and hollandaise sauce. With those additions, it was fine. Kind of small for the price though. Guess we’re still in search of a great(and relatively inexpensive — I refuse to pay huge $ for EGGS) breakfast place.

I told my husband I would give 1 star but I’ve thought about it and decided not to be so harsh. Service was definitely 1 star. My husband and I went on a Friday morning. Showed up at about 9:15am. Immediately got put on the waiting list along with several other people that were waiting. Servers and bussers looked like they were working, but apparently not quick enough. We watched tables leave and get cleaned and then they’d just sit there empty for a few minutes while many people waited. We finally got seated after about 20 minutes. Sat for a few more minutes while servers walked passed us without anyone acknowledging our presence. Finally, a server assured us, «I’ll be right with you guys.» Shortly after, she approached us for our drink order. I said«We’d like to also put in our food order.» She said, «Hold on, let me get my notepad.» More waiting. You need a notepad to get two breakfast orders? Gave our order. Waited another 30 minutes for each of us to get one egg, 2 pieces of bacon, a side, and toast. At this point, we wished we had eaten at the waffle house that was just outside of our hotel room. The food was normal breakfast food that wasn’t matched in flavor to its price. The fruit salad was good. A lot of the food on the menu was overpriced. Eggs Benedict was $ 13.95. The Friday morning«special» was a 6 oz sirloin with 2 eggs, a side and toast for $ 19.99! For breakfast? They better have cut the sirloin straight from the cow behind the restaurant. While we were eating, my husband said there was a lady, with a not-so-happy look on her face, waiting to be seated. Again, there were empty tables cleaned and ready for other patrons to be seated. Halfway through our meal, I looked around and I swear nobody in that restaurant was smiling. Everyone was waiting on overpriced breakfast food that they had ordered several minutes ago. We finally got our check and got out of there. I recall walking out the front door at 10:45, saying, «I’m free!» We’ll definitely never go back.

Came here on Mother’s Day to escape the seething crowds at the other usual breakfast haunts in town. We still had to wait a bit and they were unable to give us an ETA on that which was irksome, but it turned out to be worth it! Its really simple food, but homemade and inexpensive. The hashbrowns are made as some sort of casserole, and they were even tasty enough to not require ketchup. The ambiance is cute and most importantly, my mom was impressed. I’ll probably be back, and hopefully when it is less crowded so I can really enjoy it.
