Great breakfast and cheap! Amazing little diner! Inside the Marriott second floor… Got 3 eggs 3 slices of bacon, 3 sausage links, ham, toast, and potatoes for $ 6.25!!! Very impressed.

This is a great place to have a quick sandwich before a play at the Fisher Theater. We went here before a Saturday matinée and it was terrific. I had a Rueben and my wife had a tuna. Both were excellent. This was not our first time here and this place is consistently very good. Will go back.

Wife and I ate here last Saturday(3⁄7) just before we attended a play at Fisher Theater. She had their turkey and bacon sandwich, the bacon appeared not to have been cooked at all. I had their tuna fish salad, it was alright but nothing to rave about. Very dingy and cluttered place.

This place was pretty darn good! It’s located in the Fisher building downtown, and we grabbed a bite to eat after watching Motown the Musical. At first I had wanted to eat somewhere closer to home, but this place totally hit the spot. We walked in and the place has ample seating with a really good menu. They have a variety of soups, salads, chips, sandwiches and plenty of other things on their menu. After some decision making, I went with a #3, which is pastrami and corned beef on Rye bread. My mom went with a #2 which I think was just corned beef. You can choose what kind of bread you want here, anything from Rye, sourdough, onion rolls and a few others. The guy who helped us was working alone, and surprisingly, was quite efficient. They have tons of beverages, and it was a nice lunch. The sandwiches were filling and tasty, and we all really enjoyed our food here. Quick, tasty and tons of stuff to choose from. If your in the area and need a quick bite, or are starving after a show like I was, drop in and grab a bite. I would return in the future for a good hot sandwich anytime. Definitely nothing fancy, but a nice little spot none the less.

Working in the fisher building, I eat here at least once a week. Good food at not ridiculous prices, good people and quite a selection. You can eat inside if you want. Don’t let the other review fool you, it’s clean. The blackness on the windows is just outside Detroit dirt. And historic buildings will be dusty.

This Deli is located on the first floor of the Fisher Building. It is mainly frequented by people who work in the building and surrounding areas. It isn’t really a place one would make as a destination for a lunch outing since there is little seating and no waiters. They have decent sandwiches, salads, and soups. They make the sandwiches when you order. A sandwich will run you around 4 – 7 bucks. You can get a good salad with chicken breast sliced up on top for 6 bucks. The soups are good, but are molten hot, so be careful. A good size cup will cost you around 3 bucks. The food prep area is clean(ish) but the windows are nearly opaque with grime and the eating area is decorated by 5 year old plastic flowers with 5 years of dust on them. Get your stuff to go. It’s pretty icky inside.
