I’m not a BBQ ace, so don’t consider my review professional grade. But I’ve had a lot of what’s called pulled pork and ribs in my life at various places, and I lived in the south for some years and experienced, according to my pals, what ribs and pulled pork are supposed to taste like. The main two characteristics I was told to look for 1.) «meat should fall off the bone», 2.) «meat should melt in your mouth“and 3.) watch out for usage of sugar in place of pure ingredients. The meat should be full of flavor. Well, I can say that one and two above were true(and the flavor was great too!), but I can’t tell if it was sweetened with a lot of sugar. The meat was delicious and I ate pulled pork, chicken and ribs. Came with beans and coleslaw. For the quality, the price point wasn’t bad either. I will admit this is one of the better tasting BBQs I can remember and all the qualities of BBQ quality seem to be in place. I would recommend this place if you like BBQ, as I think me evaluation is pretty good. And don’t think you will be disappointed.

Had the half chicken, it was amazing. Huge portion, comes with baked beans and slaw. The BBQ sauce on the chicken is amazing.

Loved it, very good bbq, if you like bbq you have got to stop here. Hot inside when they are cooking pizza, nice outdoor seating, heated in the colder days. We left with the rib plate, got a mile down the road turned around went back and grabbed a whole rack. Definitely good.

If you’re gonna eat in Detroit — eat here! The pulled pork was amazing and I hear the pizzas are delicious as well. I love supporting a family run business. The owner is a super nice guy and I wish the best for this place! My only suggestion is for having a few varieties of bbq sauces :) If only they weren’t so far away!

Great little hole in the wall place with great food! Whether you are a local, camper or traveler going thru Detroit, don’t miss this place! Pizza with fresh basil was unbelievable. Owner is fun and beer is cold! Simplicity at good prices! You can call ahead and they will have your order ready when you arrive!

Detroit Oregon is not where one would intuitively head for a great rack of ribs, but you would be missing out! Connor’s is a one of a kind joint, with personality(his name is Joe :). Excellent pulled pork, smoked chicken, and most recently pizza. Next time you are headed East on Hwy 22, save your appetite for Connor’s. You won’t be disappointed!

We purchased two pulled pork sandwich meals for $ 8.95 each. We felt you got a lot of food for your money. large sandwich, beans, and slaw. Our only complaint was that the meat had a strong salty /smokey taste which wasn’t to our liking. The meat, however, was tender. Not sure if we’ll go back but if we do we will try something else.

this is the real thing! possibly the best BBQ I had in Oregon so far, the ribs were just amazing, with the meat coming off the bone almost by itself the owner and the waiters were also super-nice! TIP: extra ribs are 1 $ each(or the guy was just being kind since I told him I loved his BBQ) in any case, worth stopping between Bend and Salem just for this place

This place has some of the best bbq we have ever had. Bbq ribs, pulled pork sandwiches and pulled pork nachos were what we tried, and all were awesome. Overall. .the pulled pork was the favorite meat. I suggest the Nachos and add some bbq beans on there too! A define stop if in the area again! !!

I don’t give a lot of five star ratings, but this BBQ Joint is some of the best BBQ we have had and we are BBQ eatin people! Joe is the owner and expert BBQ guy. He and his wife run the place and are super nice people, plus they know how to cook some darn good BBQ. We had the chicken/ribs combo meal and both the ribs and the chicken were excellent. Joe has some secrets on how to get that flavor deep inside the chicken without drying it out. The ribs were perfectly done and had a great smokey flavor. If your headed through Detroit and you enjoy good BBQ, you need to stop at Corners!
