I stopped by today and wasn’t blown away. I was mostly cookies, some turnovers and empanadas, churros and one or two other things. Nothing was labeled, so I couldn’t tell what the fillings or favors were. There is a section in the back win everything bagged up in $ 1 portions. Again nothing was labeled. What was there looked lovely.

I was on that side of town today and some told me to swing by and check them out. so I did and their tres leche cake is amazing. i also picked up a few other breads and pastries and they are pretty good as well. the prices are pretty good too.

There wasn’t a lot of variety in the cases, which surprised me. I had read really good reviews, and just expected… more. The prices are great, but the four items I got were just ok. I dare say they were all kind of dry and seemed less-than-fresh. The way you get your items threw me off, but that’s more of a tip thing, so check there for how to actually get your baked goods.

Best Mexican bakery anywhere. Probably the best bakery period. Awesome! Been coming here for over a decade.

Absolutely my favorite bakery. I’ve been coming here since time before memory — my dad used to take me to Luna’s when I was a small child. You ever have one of those memories from childhood where everything is so large and there is so much of everything, and then you get older and your expectations have to be adjusted? This is not one of those cases. In my mid-20s, now, I still come to Luna’s and get excited about the variety and the freshness. I can remember being a young child, going for a concha, and having someone come from the kitchen and offer me one that was still hot. The conchas are hands-down my favorite from Luna’s, but the red cookies are a close second. I’ve had everything they have, through the years, and it is all fantastic.
