Very nice relaxing location with great food, had there lobster bisque I would recommend it and there Kansas City steak. Services was great and if you like a drink now and then, I also recommend the bar great service.

The best valued happy hour around. Love the rock shrimp. Bartender recommended the Greektown Salad(not on the menu but it’s a classic) wonder why it’s not on the menu, but anyways I felt like I received insider knowledge it was cool. Good staff. Be back for dinner later.

Went there on a whim… why I haven’t seen this place before, shame on me! What a fantastic place! For a top end resturant in a casino, you would only find this quality in Vegas. Had the Filet special which was absolutely incredible! The presentation was top notch, the desert was a masterpiece combined with French Press coffee! The live singer was soothing music to dine by. My future dining will definitely include this place, and so it should be yours. Ok visit # 2 on Thanksgiving. Expected a standard turkey plate… WRONG! First is the excellent presentation from a beautiful waitress! The turkey entrée was a work of art! I thought, this is not possible. The flavors were amazing with cornbread stuffing, a soup that was called Parsnip Soup, was finished to the last drop, and I’m only a Chicken Noodle kind of guy! A 5 star visit again!

Let’s start with the food, it was excellent! There were 5 of us and we were all happy with our choices. The downside was the service. That being said our waiter was very nice and was doing the best he could. The issue was it was disorganized and slow. Food didn’t come out together and a large lag between courses. We would definitely give it another try as perhaps they were short staffed.

A friend refereed me to this place and it was nothing but a great time and great food. Every week is a different when it comes to food, music, drinks it changes which I love. Everyone was really friendly.

Our party of six visited PRISM for Detroit Restaurant Week(DRW) and to celebrate Mother’s Day. Service and food were impeccable, and this would be a four star review if not for the much-too-loud live entertainment during the first third of the meal that pretty much excluded the possibility of conversation. We received excellent service. When we ordered a bottle of wine that was out of stock, we were happily upgraded to a better bottle without having to ask. Nice. When two of our party arrived late, our server remained attentive and engaged, making sure our drinks were kept in order. Nice. When two of our party didn’t like the one appetizer option for DRW, our server persuaded the kitchen to allow a substitute of soup. Unheard of, and… Nice. Everyone liked what he or she ordered. Some were less enamored of the unusual take on caprese salad than I was(whole tomato, deeply scored, with basil and mozzarella inserted) but everyone liked it. I loved it, myself A variety of pasta was had and enjoyed. As for me, I had the filet mignon, medium rare, and it was delicious and prepared perfectly to my desired temperature. We all had chocolate cake for dessert. Really wonderful, rich, creamy, gooey, chocolatey chocolate cake. Yum!

We were able to experience downtown restaurant week here and it was good. Three courses for $ 30/each(limited menu, but nice). I started with a bowl of lobster bisque which was tasty, but slightly salty. Others had the caprese salad which was very different with a whole tomato and a slice of cheese and everyone liked it. I had the Tuscan Veal which was served over bucatini(spaghetti) with a tasty red sauce. My wife had the veggie lasagna. Both were very good. Others in the group got the fillet and loved it. Some drinks were pretty costly –$ 10 for a glass of Pinot Grigio, but it was a fair pour. Others had a good red table wine for $ 30/bot — not a bad price. The dessert of chocolate cake was really good and ended the meal on a high note. Service was excellent. The only problem was they had a guy with a guitar singing too loud when we first sat down — you could not talk to each other, but someone must have complained(not us) and it became quieter, We’ll go back to try the main menu soon and hope the music man is not there.

Not only was the ambiance subtle and elegant, but the service and food was impeccable. The first time we visited Prism, it was in a group; party of 7. We opted to sit at the bar for convenience and room. Toussaint the bartender was awesome! Our party ordered; Lamb chops, crab cakes, shrimp pancetta capellini, lobster bisque, and the frigittello rock shrimp… everything was divine. We enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend Prism as a great place to entertain friends. The prices are pretty standard for a high end dinning experience. Definitely date night approved. By the way, we did not have a reservation, and Prism was still able to accommodate our large party. We actually visited Saturday evening and there was more than enough room for us to sit in the dinning area. The atmosphere was very comfortable. There was even live entertainment(guitar soloist) to help set the mood.

Great food! My husband had 2 lobster tails with a petite steak with a bowl of lobster bisque. He said is was delicious. I had walleye with crab Oscar which was delicious with crab cakes for an appetizer. The meal was delicious and the service was outstanding !

Went to this restaurant one night while gambling the penny slots at Greektown. This is a nice looking restaurant but the staff in here is super unfriendly. The food wasn’t good either. Our waiter ignored us the whole time he never wanted to serve us from the start and gave us bad looks and no service. I will never come back. Horrible food not worth spending money on and very rude servers!

The Valentine’s Day menu is what ultimately made me RSVP. My only concern was certain courses were«to share», and I hoped they’d be big enough. I have a massive appetite. Not only were the two courses large enough for the both of us we had to box some of it up! I thought, what a great concept for the Valentine theme. We ordered separate main dishes but ended up being the same thing… Filet Mignon and it was delish!!! My ONLY gripe is both of us, not being drinkers, went for some lemonade. All that was offered was Tropicana pink lemonade with a lemon slice on the edge of the glass. A place like that I was expecting something house made. I squeezed that lemon in the glass and gave it a twirl and looked at my love and said«there, now it’s house made.»

I can only speak from my experience, but I had a great meal, a great time, and great service just last Friday. I took my wife to have dinner and watch a friend play and sing(the place has a baby grand and a PA already in place, yay ambiance!). Bread and water showed up immediately after we were seated, and service was timely for drinks and dinner. Me and my wife split a filet and both had our own salads, would recommend the wedge, with it’s delectable bacon wrapped dates. The meal was about as spendy as I expected(both had two drinks, one entrée, one side, two salads, just over $ 100), and were super impressed with the place. The only reason I am not giving it five stars was our waiter did disappear for about five minutes after leaving us our check, and you do expect fairly immediate attention at that price point. So I will save five stars for the truly spectacular, but this was pretty damn good.

We arrived about 15 minutes before our reservation so we went to the bar and sat. No one addressed us did not get a drink. It was a mess glasses everywhere! Luckily hostess came and got us after 10 minutes. We did sit at table for over 5 minutes before we were addressed. Then it did get better. Being it was restaurant week it was limited. Appetizers chose entrée chose and desert. We had the risotto balls very good. For dinner had the filet mignon. Excellent cooked perfectly medium rare baked potato could have been cooked a little longer green beans were fresh and fine. For desert the crème Brule was awesome. Our waiter was very good along with the assistant. The manager(I think) could have went around and talked to tables instead of just standing there when there are issues that did need addressing.

Huge disappointment! we were staying at the hotel so we didn’t want to leave for dinner. Showed up around 7, was told there was nothing available until 9:30 even though you could see many empty tables. Decided to play some slots until then, returned and there were only a handful of tables occupied at that point. So we waited for what exactly? Limited choices on the menu but they sounded fine. You choose one app, entrée and dessert for $ 30 per person. Risotto ball appetizer was decent. Grilled walleye was undercooked to the point I wondered if it was some kind of sushi, and served with instant mashed potatoes and creamed corn(I’ve had better straight out of a can.) Chocolate volcano cake for dessert was cold. Like they pulled it straight of out the fridge and slapped a dab of ice cream on it. Gross. Service was slow and unfriendly. Next time we will definitely leave the hotel for dinner! Horrible food for way too much money.
