Zorba’s Coney Island

I can’t believe I’ve never reviewed one of my favorite Coney islands (Zorbas)… This is a great coney island to go to if you like consistency. I’ve been going to this particular Coney for years and they are clearly doing great business here, because every time I go back it’s had an update. The restaurant might change but the food is always good and always very consistent. Today the hub changed up his usual order and tried the corned beef burger, (absolutely delicious) and I of course keep going back for the Zorbas omelette. What I particularly LOVE about this place is the fun staff and atmosphere… anywho that’s my two cents about one of my favorite Coney island’s :)

I like to try out small restaurants. That’s the only way you can find where the good food is. I was told by a friend that they had pretty good food, and I checked them out for breakfast. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, which consisted of sausage links, eggs, cheese, tomato, and mayo on white toast. I don’t exactly know why, but the combination of the sausage flavors with the rest of the ingredients were wonderful. I’ve been back twice since. I’ved ordered a gyro sandwich with feta cheese as recommended by the waitress and it was amazing. Don’t go by where the map points you to, because that’s west mcnichols. They are on the cornet of E. McNichols (6 mile) and Hoover. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I was.
