I took my three year old there for her first hair cut and she got the whole package that comes with a child’s first hair cut. The girls there were wonderful working with my daughter. I couldn’t have asked for better service.

So glad we found Sharkeys! I love how cute it is set up, with little cars to sit in, or a line of big kid chairs. The girl who cut my kids hair was very good, communicated well with me and the kids regarding what they wanted. In just about thirty mins she had both boys haircuts done and they were picking out balloons and lollipops. Their hair looks amazingly good, they’re very happy, and so are we! I highly recommend. Scissor cuts are around $ 19. Not bad.

I took my two daughters here last night. My daughters are 3 and 5. They loved it! The place is very cute, has nice cars for the kids to sit in, videos they can pick, and great friendly staff. Kids are tough with their hair and this place makes it a relaxing, fun, and easy task. Thank you!

I brought my two sons to Sharkeys for their first haircut. The people working here really know what they’re doing! My sons were seated in the buzz light year car which played sounds and had light-​up features. Each son was presented with a first haircut certificate, lock of their hair, photo, and balloon at the end. We will definitely be returning for future hair cuts.

The atmosphere is cute and fun, but they woman cutting my daughter’s hair didn’t know what she was doing. My little girl is two and her hair has been slow to grow in, but the back of her hair was full of curls. I told the hairdresser that I wanted her bangs trimmed and the rest just cleaned up. We left with (I swear) a boy’s haircut. It’s terrible! Honestly, I’m not a picky or demanding person; I just can’t believe that a place that specializes in children’s haircuts doesn’t know what to do to a little girl’s hair.

Since taking my daughter to Sharkey’s to get her hair cut last week, I can’t stop telling every mom and dad I see that they need to take their kid there. My daughter normally does not like to get her haircut, but upon leaving Sharkey’s she said she wants to get her haircut everyday (mind you, she’s four). She said it felt like her birthday. She chose to sit in a Barbie car and watch Nickelodeon as Tina cut her hair (there were two other cars to choose from or she could’ve played a video game). Included in the price of a girl’s haircut is a hair clip, a manicure (no joke), a plastic ring, a balloon, a lollipop and a ‘Sharkey’ dollar, which we put towards hair detangler. Everyone was so kind, her stylist Tina was super sweet and the place was very clean. So happy Sharkey’s came to Syracuse!
