Service is quick and the servers are always very attentive without being overeager. Must order: bake whole chicken!!! And don’t forget their pencake, yummy!

The stir fried octopus with veggies and noodle = best thing we ordered. Had a nice smoky flavor and not overly spicy Sujebi = good flavor Pork cutlet and rotisserie chicken… BLEH. Overcooked or overfried or stale. Yuck Honestly it’s like an old drinking joint for elders . It smells in there and not as clean to my standards . We only came here because my mom wanted to come here and it was late after my brothers home wrestling match . The only reason she came was for that bomb stir fried octopus. She does have some good tastebuds. These 2 stars are for this dish only :) actually it’s a 5 star dish

I really wanted to like this place, but I’ve been here multiple times and each time I get disappointed. The food is very bland. I’ve tried a bunch of their soups like kimchi stew and sujebi but they were both very dull. I feel like with Korean soup there has to be a certain depth to the broth, and this place just doesn’t have it. Another thing is, there is always a very odd smell in this restaurant. I don’t know if it’s just because this place is known for a lot of people to come drinking, but the smell is quite peculiar and unpleasant. The prices here can get pretty ridiculous too. Came here yesterday, ordered a typical bulgogi sizzling plate and it was 17.99!!! For maybe about 9 pieces of meat? Ridiculous. Although I’m not too impressed with this restaurant, the waitress(a middle aged Korean lady) is always extremely nice and attentive. Sadly, the food and prices just aren’t on the same level.

Enjoyed eating dinner here with some friends on a Sunday night. Each person ordered an entrée(there was 6 of us) with each being different dishes. We all thought the same about how our dishes tasted, which was«just ok,» but the service was exceptional. The waiter who served our food that night was working alone, and still managed to respond to our needs while bringing out our dishes in a timely manner. On top of that, they serve green onion pancake as free appetizer with the side dishes! AND it’s tasty! *thumbs up Aside from the«ok food» being a bit pricey, I’d still come back to enjoy another a cozy gathering with good friends and great service. **If you give this place a try, order their rotisserie whole chicken~ one of my friends swear by it. Haha

I’ve been coming to this place for over 5 yrs now and service has been awesome! The waitress remembers our order and so coming in and sitting down was hassle-less. We order the same thing every time so it wasn’t that bad. She even remembers what we like and bring more of that out. Every time we come in, she brings out 2 «Korean pancakes» instead of the 1 for the table to share. Oh yes!!!

I came here late night and to get some snacks. We had boochimgae(korean pancake) and some dried squids and Gipo(dried seafood jerky thing). The dried snacks came with little bit of mayo & ketchup mix for the sauce. The boochimgae was cold and was lacking in flavor. Even though we didn’t really order that much the price came out to be higher than what we were expecting. The lady was nice but the food was okay. The music they were playing in the background was like korean ’70-‘80s music. Maybe this is the place for middle age Koreans to hangout! Haha

Okay, my previous review was based on my visits for dinner during weekdays. I recently had dinner here on a Friday night. and. I mean, the food was still tasty, and the woman was super nice as always — however, I guess this place is a hip(?) spot for middle-aged Korean people to hang out, because a bunch of them were there being merry(i.e. loud and crazy). On top of that, they have a karaōke room that has no noise-reducing measures whatsoever. My friend and I sat there listening to very happy(i.e. drunk) people singing to old Korean songs. I still gave this place four stars because I like the food here… But just be aware of the risk(?) that you’re taking with the ambiance. I wouldn’t recommend bringing a date here. unless your date is a middle-aged Korean man/woman.

I agree that the owner(lady) is super nice. However, she didn’t offer coffee to us. She seemed a bit desperate for business. Even though they’ve been opened for 17 years, the food they have doesn’t taste so good. The only reason I picked this restaurant was because they had some items that are not common, such as steamed pork w/fresh oyster, or whole fried chicken. The bulgolgi portion was way to little. The kimchi wasn’t so good. The rice and tofu were decent. I think the food is catered to the traditional tastes of Koreans. Everyone inside is Korean. I don’t think people growing up in the US would like this restaurant. But then again, the restaurant in K-town are awesome and they cater to Korean.
