the service was good and our guy was really nice. but the food… the food was just so bad… the fried rice had NO flavor at ALL. and the friend chicken was just grease and no flavor also. this place would not survive in ktown, but thank goodness for soju and beer cuz there is no place that food would keep this place up.

on a saturday night, it doesnt feel very divey, but it is a sort of homey place with brick walls and sports tv on all the overhead flatscreens. normally wouldnt be my choice but we were hungry and i wanted to eat something quick nearby. once you enter, the bartender and server greets your party and brings you to a small booth that fits 1.5 average sized americans. we ordered the bbq combo pork and we couldnt decide whether the rice was sour because of the kimchi(kimchi is fermented veggies) or because its starting to get rancid. minus: music — weird rave music. plus: small lot but just enough parking

Open late and a nice place to eat. My first time having Korean food aside from the standard Korean BBQ. The waiter was amazingly sweet and helpful and took his time helping me with my selection. My food was delicious. I hope to come back again.

It is kinda grimy and dingy but the waitstaff is top notch! Friendly and funny. There are good deals on food and they have tvs so it’s just a great place to hang out. My only caveat is that I saw a girl there having a beer and I know personally that she was underaged so they need to step it up with carding people.

Your typical Korean spot to eat, drink and chill. Our group decided to come here after being told Banana Bay would be a 2 hour wait. I called in ahead and asked for the wait time for a group of 14 and the worker who answered, told me to come in right away. We ordered a bunch of drinks. I found it interesting that this place is called OB Square but they dont serve OB beer. They also ran out of Hite too so we resorted to 3 pitchers of Coors Light. We also got 2 bottles of Soju and one order of Yogurt Soju. They also gave us two bowls of freshly popped popcorn. All in all, I guess this is an okay spot to drink and chill among friends if you’re in the area. Can’t say much about the food as we didn’t order any but they offer combos and an assortment of different dishes.

Its $ 5 beers or $ 12 pitchers(60oz), which is a pretty good deal. The owner is a nice dude, pretty friendly. And the music is pretty good too. When I went, they were playing Odesza, Jungle, Tycho, etc. The rice wine is also delicious. There’s no many bars in diamond bar, so it’s nice to have somewhere to hangout after 11pm lol.

Pitcher of Hite is $ 11.99 and the food pricing seems about average. Cozy, not fancy, but not quite dive-bar like place to hangout and grab a drink with friends. They have a few TV’s up to watch sports and even a karaōke room in the back. Might come back again to hangout with the guys, but would be hesitant to bring any females here.

Only place that looked appealing that was open late since banana bay wouldn’t take us. We weren’t here to turn up, we were just hungry. Honestly, I feel regretful about how much $$ was spent here. Everything is about $ 10−15− expected. Open late, drinks, pretty much bar food or drunchies. The only reason why I’m giving this place any stars at all, yet alone TWO is because our waiter was really nice and sweet. I’m sure he appreciated us since we were the only sober table that seemed at all grounded. He smiled and kept a good attitude even when guys were tripping over their own feet, drunk, throw up in the middle of the hall to the bathroom, and rowdy drunks in general. Otherwise, food is so pricey for what it is, menu is nondescriptive, and what else. Its of the norm basically. Not too different from your typical korean bar thats open late

Ob square. Great place to drink. It’s like a banana bay but Korean style. Food is good here We ordered Korean BBQ beef and chicken gizzard soooo good. Love the chicken gizzards. Parking is big enough. This place is a drinking place and it opens late.

January 3, 2015 After my guy and I had our dinner at 3 Vinos, my sister texted to ask if we wanted to join her and her friends at OB Square for drinks. We planned on going to LA for something he’s been trying to take me to, but we never made it out there for the DOLLARHITS. So, we had to skip that and went straight to Diamond Bar for soju and beer! First off, place is small, but somehow big enough to fit 7 people. Anyway, guess it’s not that busy at 11:30 pm. Place is located on a small plaza. It’s actually next to the Café Haus that we went to for coffee and games. We ordered the Shock Top pitcher of beer and lots of pure soju. We also ordered sweet potato fries, mango smoothie, pineapple smoothie, and bacon wrapped asparagus. We killed four bottles of soju and two pitchers of beer amongst the 5 of us because at least two of them were the DDs. We are responsible adults here, no one drives drunk. Drinks were great, and it helps if you order the pomegranate vinegar as chaser for the soju. Had a fun Saturday night! It was also a great chance for my friends and sister to «get to know» the fella. Drink responsibly!

Came through with a friend on a Friday night around 6 and it wasn’t too busy. Service was really good and the TV screens were chill to have all around; they had basketball and soccer games playing on different screens. We shared their wing combo, 10 wings and a pitcher of beer for 20 bucks. My friend was raving about their wings but I personally think they were on the on the fattier side than most. Cool atmosphere to catch up and talk. 3.5 stars because the service was chill, wings were arriteeee, but a good deal overall if you just want a place to chill.

First off, OB is a korean bar. So your expectations should be that of a typical korean bar. It’s not a fancy restaurant that you take your parents to. It’s a place where you can eat and drink and see everyone who you went to high school with that you haven’t seen in like 5 years kind of place. Compared to good times but this place is so much better. No smoking inside, doesn’t look like a crack shack, and quality food. Owners and workers are nice, but maybe because my friends know them well and are korean or are practically korean. Today I came just to eat, but of course ended up with a pitcher of hite anyway. The waiter(guy I went to high school with of course) recommended the fried chicken wings with hot garlic sauce. He had me at garlic. My friend ordered the jajangmyeon. We kept looking at the menu and ended up ordering the fried chicken wings and some omelette egg roll thing? Iuno were fat. Anyway. Jajanmyeon: It was decent but I like the one at combo house better(inside market world). Idk I like bootleg food. Omelette egg roll: it’s basically an omelette but layered on top of each other so it resembles a sushi roll. I think if it had more meat pieces I would have liked it more. I’ve had the omelette rice before too. All my friends like it but it just doesn’t meet my meat to rice ratio(I think it has spam cubes in it) Fried chicken with hot garlic sauce: OMG this exceeded my expectations. You know those sweet and sour fish that’s all red at chinese restaurants? This isn’t it. It’s like the sweet and sour sauce that’s like yellow. It’s not hot like spicy hot in any way but trust me just get it and eat it right away so it’s still slightly crispy. I would maybe consider getting the sauce on the side so you can keep the chicken crispy. Fried chicken wings: comes with the traditional korean bootleg coleslaw salad with like thousand island dressing on top. I personally don’t really care for the wings but everyone else does so whatever. I think it’s cause I’m really picky and I don’t like the skin bundled with too much fat. I tried the OB wings once and they were really good but you should only get it if your digestive system can handle molten lava(mine can’t) Anyway this place is great for drinking with your friends until 2 and then for loitering outside for another hour. It’s best to have someone pick you up because you’ll probably be trashed and there will be cops posting outside waiting to catch you. They really need to change the girls bathroom lock cause it doesn’t lock at all and I’ve walked in on a girl having a nosebleed before. Drive safe!

This place is very close to home and pretty comfy! My first time there and I feel like I am going to be a regular here. Lol. I came here for some beer and late night conversations. We ordered soondae, mandu and a pitcher of Hite. REFRESHING! The mandu was good and so was the soondae. I’ve had some crappy frozen soondae and mandu at other establishment and these were made fresh! I like it here a lot. But I got lucky and witnessed a big fight in the restroom. THAT was unpleasant. My table was next to the restroom. I had my back behind the door… Korean thugs ehh? The server apologized to us about it. I am use to seeing things like that but it just kept going. No one really broke up the fight. So I just pulled a «Kermit» and continued to drink my beer. «But thats none of my buisiness.» Hopefully next time it won’t be so crazy.

Good food and pretty relaxed atmosphere. Try the seafood pancake. Found a hair but the server just brought us a new one even though we pretty much ate all of it. The food is Korean but has a strange Chinese influence I can’t put my finger on. Otherwise, good place to drink soju without bothering too many older middle-aged people

A good place to chill and eat korean food. The food’s not too bad, and the owners and waiters are nice. We always get the yogurt soju here –their best flavors are manjo, kiwi, and strawberry. Taking off a couple of stars for the following reasons though: 1. if you add up the individual items in their«combo», its barely any cheaper. 2. A pitcher of yogurt soju is actually priced pretty high here 3. If you want to do karaōke, you have to pay PER song! Other than that, it’s a pretty good place to hang out, chill, and drink!

Its another bar that we found near diamond bar ish area! One thing I like about this place is that they have a combo deals! Depends on what you order. they have combos that you can pick an appetizer and a pitcher of beer or soju. The older lady(think shes the owner) seems to be there every night serving us! She is very friendly and when I went for my second time she remembered my face(which I think its a plus for us customers) We been getting their combo b which is two appetizer of our choice and a pitcher of beer with soju on the side! The food we had so far are delicious! Corn cheese, budae jjigae, fries, whole chicken, ddokbokgi, and more. Parking seems to be easier and less crowded. Havent gotten anything on the house yet. but I think tgats something we need to work on by going more often! General experience was good and I wouldnt mind going to this place! Oh one last thing. I love how they give you almost frozen beer glass… but wish they would change them out after like pitcher or two.

I must get it out the way. Service is awesome! The younger lady who always seats us and takes our orders is so nice! She’s always smiling, has a great sense of humor, and will always make sure you’re satisfied. The prices are cheaper than most places I have been too. I’m talking about the Soju. The pitchers are pretty standard but there is variety. That pitcher though! It’s so heavy. I tried the fried chicken, it was nothing special. The interior. It’s clean and modern. However, there are no tables to fit 8 – 12 people. Which is kind of a bummer for us. And, AC was totally lacking the nights we went. Yes, it mattered. Because it was still 90 degrees out at 10 pm. We were told the vents were broken towards the back. My friends and I kept fanning ourselves and needing to step outside. Because of all this, tables and temperature, I’m not sure we will be coming back.

Grand Opening in Diamond Bar~ Really? I’m down to try some new places as usual… but… Unfortunately, I didn’t like this place at all. The owners of New Garden Restaurant shouldn’t have opened this place. However, the ambiance( ) is great and there are a lot of TVs in here so you can enjoy a few drinks, music, and a sports game on TV. Service is also pretty good and friendly. They do have a call button if you need them for anything. So we ordered Tong-Dahk and ddukbokki. The tong-dahk( ) was not prepared well and didn’t taste good. Also, they don’t have the standard machinery to make the tong-dahk, so it’s just fried which resulted in it being super dry inside and lacked flavor. I still have yet to find a yummy tong-dahk spot around the SGV-IE area. The moo(cubed pickled radish) –http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/lWmNwXkA4-Ke9EWG-BMnOg?select=lV9F5mYhzsMum1v8vVfrqg#lV9F5mYhzsMum1v8vVfrqg. This was old and disgusting. It wasn’t sweet enough. If you are looking for really delicious moo, go to BBQ Chicken in DB for them. The ddukbokki( ) was too sweet and salty. They put too much soy sauce in there and should have added more gochujang instead. They don’t give you a lot of dduk, either. To me, again, BBQ Chicken stands #1 in quality(but not in price) when it comes to ddukbokki. The prices aren’t really bad, but they aren’t really good either with the portions. I’m hoping in the near future they have Happy Hour or specials with their drinks and ahnjoo. When they do, I’ll be back and try out their other items. Since they are new, I’ll give them a few months to fix their food and menu. For the area, I’m only giving them 5 stars for ambiance, service, and friendliness. It’s also known to be a good place to drink and chill with your friends, so food shouldn’t be expected to be all that great. l
