Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I was involved in a car accident last week and the other party’s insurance set me up with a rental via the Diamond Bar Enterprise.
I called them just earlier in the morning today and they were able to pick me up from my location within the hour. I only needed the vehicle for the day but was admittedly late to drop it off — this location closes at 6PM, and I barely made it in on time.
However Matt and Ricardo were extremely helpful; from explaining the specifics of what the insurance would cover to everything else, all in a concise manner.
After I returned the vehicle and was attended to, it was already past 6PM but they still saw to it that I was dropped off although they didn’t have to do so.
Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

With the hassle of trying to get a pick-​up I shouldn’t be surprise how service (or lack thereof) turned out. I waited in the lobby for 3 hours for the «we’ll pick you up» service; never showed. Next, and usually I would chalk this up as a phone issue but when my call clearly is answered then immediately transferred to Roadside Assistance (meaning nobody actually greeted — simply picked up receiver & dialed out) 4 out of the 10 times, I became frustrated.
Ultimately the car never showed and I was unable to get in touch with Matt for an update. Fortunately, after having this case escalated, my reservation was transferred to a different branch for the same rate.
If you are in a hurry or on a tight schedule DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION as I would hate for you to have the same experience while in a hurry to get to your destination.

Because of its close proximity to my house, this enterprise branch is my go to spot if I need a rental car. Depending on the time you go (Monday mornings, at closing time) this place can get busy which is to be expected with a constant flow of cars being checked in and out.
I have never had an issue with the customer service here and have not seen anything that is a cause for concern in the times I’ve rented here. Rides are always offered and I’ve even seen customers come in to exchange cars mid-​rental.
On my recent trip I had to wait for 5 to 6 customers who were ahead of me in completing their transactions. As a result I was given an upgrade for my patience which was not necessary but nice.
You never know why someone needs a rental car and the employees here respect that and do not try to cheat or nickel and dime you. If they had additional runners during their busy times it would help with the flow of customers, especially if people are requesting rides back to their original location.

Don’t go to this place. They cheat on you! No good customer service. I reserve Chrysler Town and Country and got Chevrolet Traverse. They don’t respect you if you came from Asian country.

Rented a car from Matt Tallman last week and he made the experience so easy and smooth. I booked the car on line the day before and Matt called me the day before to let me know what info to being in when I rented the car (drivers license and credit card) I also needed a pickup so he said to call an hour a head of time just in case my plans changed.
I called The next day and a young lady answered the phone and told me they would be at my house in 30 min. Matt showed up 30 minutes later and took me to the branch. Matt got me into a Toyota corolla that was clean and great on gas mileage. I usually don’t buy the insurance but Matt made some good points so I bought the insurance. I returned the car a day later and they got me back home within 5 minutes. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I will tell all friends and family to rent from this location!

Though I’ve been with Enterprise since childhood, (dad rented all the time) there were some locations with great people and some whose attitude ruined it for a long time. but as my time has come to start renting, I have to say.
This branch is phenomenal! they’re fast, never say never, and ALWAYS Courteous. Fantastic Customer Service, Great attitudes and straight up just Awesome people! They pick me up and never make me wait, they are Fantastic! This branch is my Enterprise Home Indefinitely! :)

I got picked up at Avis, Enterprises competitor. Let me tell you, I will never go back. Avis was rude and didn’t care or try to fit my needs. Enterprise customer service was more than what I asked for and I got a free upgrade for the convenience of having to return the car earlier than expected. Great gas prices also! WILL NOW BE A LOYAL CUSTOMER

This enterprise deserves a negative star ! Please read your contact very carefully and decline any added fees. Otherwise you will be shocked to see your bill doubled. Use at your own risk! !

The Whole Spiel:
My cousin and I had to conduct some business at UCLA and wanted to find the most affordable option to make that happen. Both of us don’t own a car so we considered Über, Lyft, Zipcar, and car rental services.
Über and Lyft were going to be very expensive since it is essentially a taxi service. Around $ 60 one way trip that came out to $ 30 per person one way, so about $ 60 per person to LA and Back for a total cost of $ 120!!! These options are great when you are going short distances, but definitely not for long distances if you have the ability to drive.
Zipcar seemed to be a feasible option because you pay a fixed rate per day. The cheapest I could find was around $ 89 a day and that would come out to $ 44.5 per person assuming of course that you are a Zipcar member. And gas would be included and so would the insurance, but only up to 180 miles per day (not a problem since we were staying in LA county). The major issues with Zipcar is that the closest location is in Claremont, CA and since neither of us drive, how would we get there? I don’t know how to fly. Also, in order to use a Zipcar you have to be a Zipcar member, and that involves some application process and fees. $ 7/​month and a $ 25 dollar application fee. NO THANK YOU. I need a car, I’m not looking to make a commitment.
The best option was Enterprise! I found a great car online for less than $ 20 a day and made a reservation for the next day! Gas isn’t included but to get to LA and back cost us about $ 11 at Costco Gas. The Service is excellent. My cousin and I got picked up in an Infiniti SUV and driven to the Car Rental place by a very nice employee (Cal Poly Alumnus, go Broncos!). The paperwork was handled in less than 5 minutes (there weren’t too many people, so wait time can vary). Enterprise was a life saver because we were able to be very productive in LA without having to worry about a hourly rate or being picked up by some Über or Lyft driver. And we had flexibility! I needed to run some errands on the way back, so I made a few stops. Can’t really do that in an Über or Lyft. I returned the car the next day in the morning and it was pretty packed. But the staff worked as quickly as possible and its not their fault that the location is a bit understaffed. They closed my transaction out and charged me exactly the estimate on the online reservation receipt. No hidden fees. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get a complementary ride back without having to wait 30 to 40 minutes, but if I had waited they were more than happy to provide one for me. But because of my own time restrictions, I decided to take a Lyft ride home since I did have some free credit that I needed to use up before the 29^th anyway. My cousin and I split the total costs which came out to about $ 16! Not bad at all.
All in all, it was an excellent option that I recommend to everyone! I know ride sharing and car sharing apps are in vogue right now, but honestly, when it comes to getting the best value for daily and long trips, go with Enterprise.

I have rented at this location for over 10 years. Until recently I have noticed a decline in their staffing. There just are not enough people to handle the volume of customers. The last two times I have rented a vehicle the gas levels are on empty. Practically on fumes. On this most recent occasion the representative told me that they were filling in for the day and the location lost its gas card and I would have to wait for them to get cash to put gas. I didn’t want to have to wait any longer than I needed to and my first stop was to a gas station. When I returned the vehicle I just received an apology that it has happened twice in a row, but no other discussion about how they would make sure it wouldn’t happen again or anything for the inconvenience. My rating of a two comes because I know they can do better and I have seen that excellent service there, but it seems like theres a downfall happening. Too bad because this is my neighborhood rental spot, but it may not be anymore if this unacceptable service continues.

I’ve rented from several enterprise locations but this one is by far the worst! 2 of the 3 times the experience has been horrible. The first occasion, I called to get picked up, I was NEVER picked up, although I’m only a 3minute drive from the location the driver couldn’t find the address, needless to say I waited 1 ½ hour for the driver who never showed up. The second time, the manager Ashley, was extremely rude and unprofessional. She got annoyed when I asked questions, slammed the contract on the table, rolled her eyes when I declined to get their insurance and smirked when I asked to speak to the manager. After she swiped my card she was refusing to give me the rental, it was until I called her boss’s office and talked to Sandy, that the situation was resolved. She was the manager showing her employees this!!! UNBELIEVABLE! I can’t believe enterprise has lowered their standards on their management team. Ashley needs a demotion, her customer service sucks!

I have rented from this location 5 times in the past few years and they are always great and take good care of me. The only negative would be that sometimes they don’t have enough staff so there is a wait but the staff is always polite.

Sandy is wonderfully she is courteous and kind. She made my day after being involved in an accident she welcomed me took my information and did her best to place me in a car that I liked. Compare to all other locations this has the best service by far.

Sarah & Amy helped us. Sarah upgraded us at no extra charge & the car had satellite radio – Bonus! They were super busy when I returned the car & Amy still managed to provide excellent customer service. She even gave me a ride home. Thank u ladies!!! Will definitely come back!!!

Enterprise is my first choice for car rentals. I’ve used them in loads of places for travel and car repair. The Diamond Bar location gave me the same great service I’ve come to expect. I was very happy that staff could accommodate my last minute needs.

Had an appointment at 12 and it’s now 2.40 and no car yet. They kept telling me 20 more minutes but nothing.
I have missed 2 appointments so far due to no car. Very poor service.

I have been using this Enterprise now for about 5 years and they are still lacking. I’ve always reserved a car and come into to something completely different. Just recently I came in for the ford fusion I reserved and ended up with a Corolla for $ 45 .99 a day? Really? Def not cool. They car was dirty– plastic up in the armrest, crumbs all over the back seat like jabba the hut was back there, and it smelled like cigs. Customer service is excellent tho so I can’t knock the staff. This branch always seems to be struggling for whatever reason in comparison to other Enterprise’s.

Not the best experience.
Rather an hour delay for us. They don’t have a lot of cars, so they were completely empty, and we had to wait to get other cars, from another Enterprise store few miles away. Delayed my trip by about an hour.
