We tried the Melt burger. It tastes similar to In-N-Out burger with thousand island dressing. The hamburger patty is lower quality and has some tough tendon pieces inside.

I had their multigrain bingsoo and I wish it more mochi in it. Overall I think for a $ 7 shaved ice, they could have given a few more pieces of mochi

I only come here for the injeolmi shaved ice because I’m too lazy to drive all the way to LA. Diamond Bar doesn’t have a lot of cafes with tasty shaved ice but I think The Melt does a pretty good job. Every time I went, the shaved ice always tasted great and the man in the front is always so nice so thumbs up on customers service!

I’ve been pushing my boyfriend to come here for dinner because he didn’t believe me; there’s a FOODCOURT inside this already heavenly Korean grocery store. & it’s pretty sweet. I went straight to Melt because there was a very visible sign screaming«ramen burger!» & I couldn’t resist. I ordered the ramen burger, with an egg(+$ 1), for a total of $ 6.50 which is a PRETTYSWEETDEAL if ya ask me!(The one at Ramen Burger in Koreantown is $ 9) And it was pretty good! The ramen bun wasn’t as soggy as I was expecting and the meat was pretty well cooked. Not the best burger I’ve ever had(I mean, who even thought of cooking ramen on a burger) but honestly, don’t knock it till you try it. I also got a side of the signature bulgogi cheese fries($ 4.75), which in my opinion was actually BETTER than the actual burger itself… the flavor tasted like In-N-Out’s «animal style» fries with cheese and hot bulgogi meat, Korean-style, on top. It was pretty delicious, and went well flavor-wise when paired with the ramen burger. And you eat in a food court style setting, and everything is honestly pretty chill. It was a cool experience, if you’re in the Diamond Bar area willing to try something not many places around here offer, go to Melt! And my tummy was full, so I’m pretty satisfied. Thanks for the dinner suggestion, Unilocal

Yeah… UHM in another words if you’re a Korean and have easy access to our day to day ingredients. Do yourself a favor… Don’t come here. Please. And if you’re not Korean… Please don’t come here you might form a small amount of disgust towards Korean food. The food in general had no balance in flavors. Yeah you might be all«omg it’s Korean fusion food» but it’s like eating Korean McDonald’s. Don’t come here. Save your money or spend it on the other surrounding food places or maybe make your own bulgogi fries by buying some groceries. But if you still want to try their food don’t expect too much. Two stars for good service doe :) kind people, but just not good food

Do not be deceived by their fried food and honeymee dessert look alike. They spend very little effort in the quality of the food. You are better off getting dumplings next to the store called gookhwa. It is a small tiny store that uses real quality ingredients. Mc Donalds fries taste better than the fries at Melt. The melt uses frozen old fries and the chili cheese they give is very little… these fries taste horrible. They taste dry and rigid. Their ice cream dessert taste horrible.

«I’ve seen a million faces and I’ve rocked them all» –Jon Bön Jovi I would not consider myself a musical person, but it seems that the owners of Melt had truly taken Mr. Jovi’s words to heart when they created their restaurant. In my life, I have not experienced such an earth shattering gastronomic experience. If you plan on visiting this place, I recommend the ramen burger. Every other burger after this will seem like a piece of wet garbage. Said simply, this restaurant is a blessing and a curse. At Melt, I consumed the greatest meal I’ve ever had. Because of that, I will never experience true joy for the rest of my life. 5⁄5

Bulgolgi Fries: Thousand Island Dressing, Bulgolgi, green onions, and cheese. If you, like many, ever thought to yourself: I wish my Animal Style Fries had bulgolgi, look no further than Melt. Located conveniently(albeit somewhat confusingly) in H-Mart, your hankering for bulgolgi fries ends here. It’s unique. Besides being an exact replica of animal style fries with bulgolgi. These fries… Well, hm… That pretty much covers a description. Honestly, I wish this thing had huge pieces of meat, instead of tiny pieces drenched in sauce. My friend and I, as omnivores, both felt like it was lacking in beef flavor. After all was said and done, we felt lots of carbs and fats without much protein. Maybe next time, I’ll buy some Spam from H-Mart to combo it.

Got their ramen burger Is it bad that i didnt like the bun? The meat was nice seasoned and juicy The sauce and veggie complimented the meat very well But the ramen bun was tasted like plain instant boiled ramen I really like the sauce though

This place is located in side of the food court in the H-mart. I came here because I saw that they were serving Ramen burgers and also has some other interesting menu items. I order the Ramen Burger and a side order of Bulgogi Cheese fries. I was a bit disappointed with the food. I found the Ramen Burger to be on the bland side all I could tastes was a little bit of beef and mostly unflavored Ramen. I think the reason the burger tasted this way was the ratio of ramen to burger was off. The was too much ramen and too little of everything else. The Bulgogi Cheese fries weren’t too bad I actually liked me much more than the ramen burger, the fries were crispy and there was a nice combination of cheese, bulgogi and onions. I found the staff to be really nice and friendly and their station was very clean. Pro: –Clean stations –Friendly and attentive staff –Interesting menu items Con: –Poorly executed Ramen Burger Overview: Coming here was a bit of let down for me. Their Ramen Burger was poorly done – bland. But, I will say that they do have offer a clean eating area and their staff are very friendly and attentive.

Bulgogi burger and bulgogi fries had really good aioli sauce. If it weren’t for that, this place would definitely not be worth going to. Moderately priced, you can come pick up a snack while shopping. The galbi fries were pretty dry and little brother got the bulgogi tacos, which were underwhelming due to the meat portion. Just be sure to try the burger and fries if you do stop by!

Located in the food court area in the H mart market. It’s one of those places where you order your food and they give you those buzzer things that beeps when your food is ready(I always look forward for it to buzz and vibrate for some reason haha!) I really liked their bulgogi burger and bulgogi cheese fries. The burger and the fries were about $ 5 each. They give you a pretty good amount for the bulgogi cheese fries. There’s enough meat-to-fry ratio unlike some places where all the meat and stuff is just on top and the rest are all fries. Their fries have this crunch that goes really well with the meat and the sauce(kind of like the spread they use at In N Out) Their bulgogi burger is also good although it got kind of soggy as I was finishing it because they put way too much sauce. They also added tacos to the menu! Pork belly tacos and bulgogi tacos that cost about $ 2 each. I tried the bulgogi tacos and they weren’t bad. Kind of on the spicy side because of the sauce they use or diced jalapeños but I’m not sure. They also serve shaved snow. I personally haven’t tried it, but I’ll def try it next time because they look really yummy! The staff are very friendly. It’s always nice to be greeted with smiling faces even tho the place is busy. The manager always takes the time to ask if we liked the food and enjoyed our meal.

FINALLY got to try the Ramen burger with an egg and bulgogi fries for $ 12.26. The burger was just O.K. It lacked flavor in the patty, but adding the egg helped. The fries were crispy and perfect! I do agree the proportion of meat to fries ratio was not there, so more bulgogi meat would’ve been nice, lol. I’d ask for no onions and jalapeños for me next time cuz it was raw and not to my liking lol. Service was great, fast and friendly! Parking wasn’t bad at all. It is located inside the Super H Mart. I’d skip the ramen burger as it is just another one of those crazes that aren’t going to last. Maybe if they flavored it somehow… hmmmm…

Food: I ordered a bulgogi burger, garlic fries, and shaved ice. Yes, I’m a fatty. The burger was pretty decent. Fries were kinda lacking crunch but with the garlic toppings sorta makes it up. The shaved ice was decent. Food rating: 3.5÷5 Price: Expect to pay $ 5 for the burger, $ 3 for the fries, and $ 7 for the shaved ice. Overall: The place is pretty decent, I was very curious about the bulgogi burger, hence I had to try this place out. Oh, they take credit card!

Ehh. 1. THEYDON’T HAVEKIMCHI. Seriously?! What kind of Korean fusion restaurant does have kimchi?! You are inside a Korean supermarket! My not so impressive bulgogi burger might have been a little more appetizing with some kimchi. *end angry Korean rant* 2. They have their version of In-n-Out’s animal style fries. The best thing I ate there, but nothing compared to the real deal. As previously mentioned, bulgogi burger wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. The flavor of the sauce it was marinated in wasn’t what I was expecting. Also, my burger was so drenched in the sauce/oil that my bun was becoming all squishy and gross. My boyfriend ordered the ramen burger and liked it. I tried a bite and learned that I’m not a fan of the texture of the ramen as a bun.

I’ve been wanting to try this place out for a while. Went there today with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved it. We got the ramen burger and the bulgogi burger and they cut those in half for us because we wanted to share them. We also got an order of their bulgogi cheese fries that everyone seems to bring up in the reviews I have read. The burgers were juicy and amazing. I didn’t know what to expect texture wise for the ramen burger and was a bit hesitant to try it at first but I really enjoyed it. Loved their bulgogi burger… the the flavored all melded together and it just made my tummy really happy. I work at In-N-Out and I felt like their burgers were the Asian version of it haha. So pretty much amazing. Their bulgogi cheese fries were so bomb. They sorta reminded me of Animal fries from my work… well they resembled them at least. The fries came with cheese, this sweet spread, and bulgogi on top… yum! Definitely see why people talked about it in their reviews. They also sell shaved ice as well so the next time I go there I am so going to try it with the rest of my food. I really liked this place and I will most definitely be coming back.

Rather interesting place located inside Super H Mart. Most of the food vendors inside Korean markets serve traditional Korean food but this one leans more toward Korean fusion. It serves both pot-bing-soo(Korean shaved ice) and Korean style burgers. This is the first place I got to try a ramen burger. I’ve heard of these before but the idea sounded somewhat gross to me. It’s not as bad as I thought but I’d still prefer a regular bun over a ramen bun. It’s too dense and slightly crispy on the outside so it feels like you’re eating three beef patties(texture-wise). The burger itself tasted pretty good because it tasted like IN N Out burger with a spicy kick, thanks to sliced jalapenos. I think it’s the combination of thousand island dressing and grilled onions that makes this burger taste like In N Out. It didn’t have much vegetables so it tasted mostly like a tasty patty melt. I got mine with cheese which is $ 0.50 extra. I also got the Bokko Burger which didn’t taste that much different from the Ramen Burger except this wasn’t spicy and had little more vegetables(shredded cabbage). This one also has thousand island dressing but the burger tasted slightly Korean for some reason. I’m not sure what it is but it reminded me of something I used to eat in Korea when I was little. Both burgers were pretty small but still quite filling. That just goes to show how much grease and fat are in these burgers. I think they overcooked my meat but there was enough grease to moisten the patty. I think it’s a cool concept but I’d rather get In N Out Burger for this price. Most of the burgers are about $ 5-$ 6 on average, which isn’t bad compared to many gourmet burger joints that have popped up lately, but not sure I can classify this as a gourmet burger joint.

— Locale Destination — It’s on Diamond Bar blvd and Cold spring Ln in Diamond Bar. It’s in a food court for Super H mart(Korean supermarket). Ambiance: it’s in a food court. Nothing fancy. Cleanness: This supermarket is very clean for a Korean market, but I saw flies at the food court… The racks for the dirty dishes need to be cleaned more often. I know it’s hard to get rid of them since people for the market come and go. Service: Quick. You order and pay at the counter. If you eat in, they’ll give you a buzzer you get at BJ’s type of establishments. You’ll leave your tray with dirty dishes on the communal rack. Water machine is communal, too. Menu: They have burgers and fries(with bulgogi chili etc.). Desserts are like organic ice cream(it looked like McDonald’s one — with a honey comb. Korean sweets are either too bland or too extremely over-sweetened. Nothing in between. So I’ll pass) and shaved ICE for $ 7. They are topped with lots of red beans or whip cream, but $ 7 for shaved ICE seems extremely overpriced. Parking: Plenty. Not only Asians but also other kinds of Diamond Bar residents clog the exit of the shopping mall. Sometimes it takes too much time to get out onto the Diamond Bar blvd. — Gluttony Expedition — Bulgogi burger: I’m not a novice on Korean cuisine. I had this before and all came with«bulgogi»(marinated thin sliced beef), not a regular«burger pâté». They use 100% Angus beef pâté, which was good and tasty. But it’s an ordinary good quality pâté, not a «bulgogi». The buns are cheap kind that McDonald’s type places use. The aioli sauce seemed to contain«bulgogi» sauce(marination), which made it a bit sweet. But they put it so little, it seemed just an ordinary burger overall. $ 4.50 is a decent price for that, but I left confused«why the hell is this called bulgogi?!»… French fries: $ 1.75 for normal French fries. They give you a good portion. Good fries. The fries jump up the price very quickly(very sharp raise) by adding cheese, garlic, or bulgogi chili. — Conqueror’s Deduction — I lately eat gourmet burgers a lot due to my little Unilocal buddy(I’m not a burger eater in general). Those places charge $ 9 for a burger(by itself) and most places except for the one at «Pie Dog» in Fullerton left me unsatisfied. Hence, $ 4.50 for the decent burger wasn’t bad, but it’s just an ordinary burger to me despite it was claimed to be «bulgogi» burger. It was nothing about«bulgogi». Unless you licked the bulgogi aioli itself, you really don’t taste«bulgogi» much overall. If you come here to eat just a decent burger, you’ll be satisfied. Otherwise you’ll leave here wondering what’s this all about like me. They should have used the real bulgogi, or marinated the burger«pâté» with«bulgogi» marination — if you call it «bulgogi burger». Confusing experience and it didn’t make me feel I was willing to go back here again.

Last time I had a ramen burger, it was at The Bleu House and that gave me a bad impression. I kinda swore off them because one, they’re really hard to eat with everything falling apart, two, eating two ramen packs plus a fat juicy patty in the middle is asking for a heart attack, and three, it was expensive!!! Melt kinda of blasted those three impressions away.kinda. It wasn’t hard to eat, although the insides were sometimes coming off. Nothing to complain about, I don’t mind getting my hands dirty heh. What I loved was their sauce. It tasted just like the ones from in-n-out! and I love in-n-out’s sauce!!! So because this tasted so much better I didn’t mind the heaviness of the burger. Probably only gonna get this once in awhile though. It’s about five bucks for the ramen burger plus 50 cents for cheese. It comes with grilled onions and jalepenos. I also tried their bulgogi fries and they were pretty good too. Basically bulgogi, cheese, and that«in-n-out sauce» on top off fries! It was about seven bucks. Glad I tried this, although if you’re dieting and decide to come here. leave that behind!

While crusing the aisles of H Mart for samples of food to eat, my heart was Melted. The management of Melt came up to me and introduced themselves to me and told me that they were a brand new restaurant in the food court and encouraged me to try their restaurant. Since I had already eaten, I perused the menu instead. It looked promising with their burgers, bulgogi cheese fries, and other goodies. I left with a sample of their organic soft serve ice cream, which was delicious. I left wanting more. A couple days later, I came back for a real visit. Again, the employees of Melt welcomed me and gave me suggestions on what to get. I ended up getting a ramen burger and their bulgogi cheese fries. The Ramen Burger was the best ramen burger that I have had. The burger had a large meat patty, lettuce, cucumbers and their special jalapeño sauce on their ramen bun. I loved how the special jalapeño sauce tasted and gave it a spicy kick. This sauce made the ramen burger better than all the other ramen burger that I have tried. With that said, I have had enough with ramen burgers. Ramen belong in soup. All ramen buns that I have tried are tasteless. This would be a a very good burger on a bread bun. The bulgogi cheese fries were great! Fries were topped with a special sauce, cheese and bulgogi. It was a hit with my wife and daughter who ate most of it. By the time I got to it, it was cold and soggy. But, it still tasted good to me. Next time, no sharing! The staff both time I showed up were nice and friendly. It is their friendliness to me that makes me want to see them succeed. Good food. Great people. I will be back.
