I love flame broiler I been goin here for years! I went here a few times but seems Like every time I go I get less for what I pay more rice than anything not enough vegetables or Chicken l, Not every flame Broiler is the same only this location, And on top of That the Filipino man working the register stares and makes you feel uncomfortable.

I’ve been here about 3 times and was about to become a regular since I work nearby… until today. You know how some people just emit some kind of bad vibe? Well, the guy at the register was oozing it. I ordered my tofu bowl and 1. He never asked if I wanted veggies 2. I requested less rice, he never mentioned that to the guy making my food(he yelled my order to him) 3. He brought my bowl without a tray, no utensils, no lid. 4. As I thought, they gave me the full rice even though I wanted less. 5. When I mentioned about the rice to him later, he said I didn’t clarify about the rice when I said half rice. Never has any flame broilers made that mistake; since I explain quite clearly. The employee that started his shift was nice, but please hire another manager cause his vibe is bringing this whole place down. Verdict: Don’t expect much service; get to-go if you MUST eat here. Other than that, food is good. But not enough for me to return.

I don’t know why this place is rated so low on Unilocal.I have nothing really bad to say about this place. The orders are prepared in a timely manner. It is always clean inside and they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The food is always cooked the same and tastes good:) They also have a nice sauce and Togo utensil area. All in all, it’s a good spot for healthy but tasty food

Not really a review; more or less just trying to correct some wrong information. The hours say that this location is open from 11:30am-8:30pm on Sunday, however, this is not the case. This location is not open ATALL on Sunday. I thought maybe the first Sunday I had gone to this location, it may have been just a one-time happenstance that they were closed, but I came here again last Sunday, and they were closed again… Both times I came, it was around 1:30pm. Please update your store hours so people don’t waste time coming to your store when you’re closed.

I’m giving an A-Ok. FIrst off the place has no lights or sign making it look open. I had to peek inside to see if I would look dumb trying to open the door. But, I like the food because its fast and simple. Also, something about the hot sauce is addicting. It kind of reminds me of buffalo wing but not too spicy. They really should rename the hot sauce to «magic sauce». I am sure that is a reason why a lot of people come back. Got me hooked

I come here sometime for a quick lunch when I want something that is generally healthy. This location is bit quiet, but they do get a bit of lunch rush sometimes. I normally get their chicken bowl with brown rice which isn’t too bad. All in all this place isn’t bad nor is it the greatest thing out there. If you’re limited on time and want something health that’s quick, easy, and fast this is the place to go. Pro: –Quiet location –Quick service –Plenty of parking Con: — Boring food Overview: This location isn’t too bad its quiet and easy going. You’ll get your food fast and hot.

WOW. I just experienced one of the most horrific and unjustified customer service experiences of my life(Diamond Bar). It was one of those«hurry home to write a Unilocal review» moments. As an earlier reviewer stated, it’s abundantly clear that the manager of this location(DANNY – Filipino guy) absolutely hates his job and hates his customers. After Danny made an error on my order(as cashier), Danny asked me to return to the restaurant. After returning, he inexplicably refused to acknowledge his mistake as if we had not spoken on the phone just minutes before. In his attempt to deflect blame, he outright interrogated me with nonsense questions(«Did you pay for the food?») to which I responded with obvious answers(«Yes, of course. Here’s the receipt. Importantly, How else would I have taken the food home to notice the error?). At this point, I was so utterly confused.(My thought: Are you serious?! Why would anyone go through the trouble for a chicken bowl!!! Is this guy borderline personality?) He didn’t care that other customers were waiting in line behind me. He didn’t care about the poor example he was setting to the teenage employee who watched in embarrassment. Danny’s behavior was so over the top and disproportional that I don’t even have words to truly explain the injustice of the situation. One thing for sure, this was one of those horrific moments that happens once every few years. I don’t understand how a guy like Danny chooses to work in the service industry. Danny is totally unfit for the job. Danny hates his customers. Danny shouldn’t work with other people, let alone manage or serve them. **Recommendation to Management: REPLACEDANNYIMMEDIATELY! Don’t wait. You’ll lose more loyal customers. **Recommendation to Customers: AVOIDTHISLOCATION!!! As other reviewers recommended, there are other better alternatives(e.g., Grand/Valley location). **Summary: INCOMPETENTMANAGEMENT = UNHAPPYSTAFF = BADFOOD&POORSERVICE! DOTHEMATH… IT’S JUSTNOTWORTHIT!!!

I love the food here it’s healthy, easy and convenient because I live close by. However, the young cashier dude(looks Filipino kinda) is pretty rude & never in a good mood. I come here at least 2 – 3 times a week especially after I leave the gym. And it’s really uncomfortable and annoying that his customer service lacks. I’d rather eat somewhere else, If i don’t feel welcome. If U don’t like your job bruh, then go apply elsewhere!!! What are you like 17? #Kids! McDonald’s is hiring ;)

Clean and quiet location. The food came out fairly quickly and the service is great. Not much else to say since it is a chain restaurant, but always go for The Works.

I live real close to this location and was very hungry. Stopped by and got me a nice beef and chicken bowl. Pretty good for the price and they always have coupons that will help out as well. If you are in the area and want to get a quick bite that doesn’t have over 2000 calories than I suggest stopping by and getting something to eat.

I usually don’t write reviews but this flame broiler is horrible. Every time I’m here the service is horrible. Reason why I go here is because it is literally right around the corner from me. I own my own business and if I were the owner i would fire the young gentleman that works the cashier. He has very poor customer service and the owner should be aware that this is very detrimental to his business. The food quality is bad and seems like the food has been sitting under a heater. I’m sure it doesn’t take a minute to cook chicken after my order is placed. Hopefully the owner pays attention to Unilocal and makes the necessary changes…

Worst flame broiler I’ve ever been to in terms of staff. Ordered 2 bowls, 1 with extra chicken and 1 regular. Both bowls came out identical with the same amount of chicken. Asked the cashier Kirsten to fix it and she rudely dismissed it saying mine had more. Showing her both bowls I was shocked and said I did not pay $ 3 more to have no extra chicken. All other flame broilers give to to you in a separate side container. I asked her to honestly look at the bowls and tell me with a straight face that mine has $ 3 more worth of chicken and she says«yup that’s it». Appalled and their lack of honesty, rudeness, and unwillingness to provide adequate service to customers.

7:29PM, 9÷21÷14 This has to be the third time I’ve gotten white rice when I ordered brown rice. I mean yeah ok I’ll still eat it, won’t kill me or anything but come on… I only go there now when I’m too lazy to drive an extra few miles to the Waba Grill in Walnut. Flame Broiler’s always been a hit or miss with the meat — sometimes it’s dry and overcooked, and sometimes it’s just right. But no avocado(unlike Waba Grill for an extra fee) and this keeps happening to me. Service has always been better here vs. the Waba Grill in Walnut though. I’m always greeted here whereas every single person working in Waba Grill seems like they are pissed off and would rather be anywhere but there. I need my fiber dammit!!!

Seriously I love the food here but the service was horrible. I ordered and said my please and thank you’s the cashier didn’t even acknowledge me. When the woman next to me received her order he said here you go miss enjoy your day… my order call was more like a grunt to get my attention. I don’t wanna pull the race card… but I was honestly very uncomfortable. He was very unprofessional and was listening to music on his IPhone. next time I’ll drive further to the one on valley and grand. At least I’m acknowledged like a human being at that location.

I really don’t know why people like Flame Broiler, or come here, unless they’re DBHS students with no other options. The meat is dry, rice tastes like paper, and nothing really tastes good unless you drown it with their magic sauce. The prices are ok I guess but it’s nothing more than fast food. Portions are inconsistent and the workers are always annoyed at something.

I ordered two sides of veggies… 95% was cabbage 3% carrots & the other 2% was broccoli! NEVERCOMINGBACKAGAIN!!! Save your money and hit up a farmers market for fresh vegetables instead. $ 5.25 #RIPOFF!!!

I mean.meh. Got the angus beef and vegetable combo bowl(~$ 7) –The beef was underseasoned. The vegetables were way too hard. Everything was just bland and flavorless. The portions are not worth the prices. Do yourself a favor and go to Yoshinoya in Rowland. So much better.

Came in here with a coworker for a quick lunch before heading back. Our food was out quickly and tasted great. I had the bowl with half chicken and half beef. Topped with the«magic sauce» and the hot sauce, this is a lunch you’ll definitely love.

Came here for a spontaneous lunch one day while meandering down the aisles of shops/cafes in the H-mart plaza. I honestly couldn’t make up my mind about where to eat and ended up narrowing my choices down to Young Dong or Flame Broiler. Since I wasn’t looking for anything too heavy, I decided to go to Flame Broiler. The service is quite speedy, and our orders came quickly. My mom ordered the angus beef bowl with white rice and I ordered the chicken bowl with brown rice. I tried some of the beef from my mom’s bowl, and it was a bit overdone and dry. I wouldn’t recommend this. However, my chicken was cooked well and juicy! Definitely a plus in my book. There is «magic sauce» and hot sauce on each table if you’re looking to pack more flavor into your meal. The brown rice was a bit lacking. It was cooked a bit too long, resulting in bloated rice kernels that ended up becoming a bit mushy. It didn’t have the same texture of well cooked brown rice. Would I come here again? Well… I live a bit far from DB so maybe, if I dropped by H-Mart anytime soon.

I mean… it’s healthy. The food here is decently priced and the restaurant is small but clean. Food was mediocre. I honestly don’t see what the hype’s about except for the fact that it tastes healthy. I got the chicken mini bowl and got really bored of it after a few bites. I started to mix in their special sauce and hot sauce and the result was still the same. It wasn’t anything special. It just tasted like a regular meal of rice and meat; something I’d cook myself at a dorm. It just tasted über healthy.
