I’ve been a Kroger shopper for a long time, this location in particular. I buy all types of different things and frequent the deli as well. When I was younger and we came here, I felt like we always found what we needed, never had any problems with things being I’m stock and such. The produce was good, employees were nice, shelves looked good, but these days? Things have definitely changed. Nearly every time I come here, something I came for is out of stock. The deli people are rude a lot and most of the other employees are as well, with a few being an exception. I know generally at grocery stores you have young kids who don’t care and are useless and there are lots of those here. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had chips or bread bagged with heavy cans of veggies or something like that, so I’m at the point to where I use self checkout even if I have a cart full of stuff, just so I can avoid dealing with that incompetence. Unless I’m needing to duck in and out quickly for something small and common, I go to HEB now. Sorry, Kroger, but you kind of suck now.

Hey Kroger, thanks for selling us half dead flowers. We were bringing them to visit our friends grave. The flowers were brown and disgusting and it the dead part had been purposefully hidden. You suck.

This is my go-to Kroger. It’s 5 min away from me and parking is easy enough(not getting out, though!) They have friendly staff. I usually see the older gentleman by the self-checkout and he’s always very courteous and helpful – gotta get his name! Anyway, this is a small Kroger. Drive a little longer and you can get to the bigger League City one, and even pass by HEB. But I prefer Kroger since you get their gas points AND their company matches your store bought amount and donates it to a charity of your choice – yep, you can do it! Sign up online. Anyway, back to the store itself… It’s stock well enough but I hate going through 4 aisles looking for JUST lite coconut milk. They have it displayed in about 3 different aisles. Also, one issue about this Kroger is they usually are terrible with stocking up the refrigerated products. They run out of a certain kind of milk for hours and boohoo to you if that’s the kind you’re looking for. Same thing goes for cottage cheese. This could be fixed easily and I know certain customers have reached up to mngm’t about it. P. S. Idk why I’m writing a review for a grocery store.

5 star goes straight up for the beer selection. I came in for a 6 pack and found a very rare St Arnolds Pumpkinator. This is arguably the best pumpkin ale ever, and there were 4 bottles left. This ale is usually sold out the week it is released in October, so yes, this was a special moment. The employees were nice enough to check for more in back. The cashiers were nice and funny especally dealing with my crew. Definitely have a nice brew run for my buddys place in Dickinson.

This is truely the worst Krogers I have ever been to. 1) NEVER have milk, eggs, sour cream or bread. 2) NEVER have a buggy, you have to go outside to get your own. I have spoken to the manager several times and it’s still the same. NO they are not too busy to do their job. I live near the store but I will never go back. The Krogers on 96 is definitely my new Krogers. This store DOESNOT deserve one star.

They never have a basket for you. You have to go out side to get your basket for yourself. Iv told a manager and they act like I’m wasting their time. It was raining and still didn’t care.

This review is strictly for the pharmacy! I have to say that the gentleman who runs the pharmacy – the head pharmacist – is an absolute pleasure to deal with. They will do just about anything to make your transaction go through smoothly. The other night, I had a medication that I desperately needed that they had ordered to come in the next day. I called to see if they could find it at another pharmacy for me – and please keep in mind, this is something that most pharmacies will NEVER do, unless they are calling another one of their own locations – and they called CVS and walgreens and even sat on the phone with them on hold for 15 minutes until they could get it transferred. This was at 9:30 at night right before they closed. If that’s not dedication to your customers, I don’t know what is… Thanks so much!!!

Couple days ago picked up a few items and dozen eggs that would not scan. So, the cashier sent another employee to go and get another dozen to scan.(Why didn’t he punch in the numbers off the eggs??? not sure). Anyway, she came back with no eggs,(must have misunderstood). I told the cashier not a problem wasn’t needing them till the next day. The manager said to hold and and he would go get me some, but I insisted it was ok and headed out. I made it almost to the front door and the manager(I believe his name was Jason) and told me to hang on and he came back with a dozen eggs for free. Thought that was nice customer service. Always have enjoyed coming here.

I really missed having a Kroger near me. On a Saturday night, I was coming from Galveston and I had a wonderful shopping experience at this Dickinson store. The store was clean, organized and refreshing. I love the Floral department with a large selection of potted plants and cut flowers. I walked toward the Produce department; I smelled the freshly baked bread from the bakery. Mmm… I couldn’t help myself but I had to buy some bolillos. They were bigger than HEB’s and only 4 for $ 1. I had to use the self-checkout machine since all cashiers were closed at 11:15 pm. However, I ran into trouble running up the price on bolillo. A store clerk moved toward me and explained how to use the machine cheerfully. I held up the line for a while and I never felt rushed. I wish I knew her name, because we need more people like her in Houston.

I am so excited to see that they are finally taking care of their establishment. Produce looks better, the staff is a lot nicer and the manager I always see out and about in the store. Great come around from a few months back when I started shopping here. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is because of the sackers… Really come on guys it doesn’t take rocket science to know that fresh veggies and fruit do not get bagged with bloody raw meat. And that heavy stuff goes on the bottom of the cart and not on top of your bread, fruit and veggies. Came home to smashed chips and bread and veggies in with my chicken… That’s a no no. Normally I pay attention but having my one year old ready to go down for a nap I did not! So partly my fault but mostly theirs for not doing the job correctly. By the way pharmacy is wonderful and so is the Starbucks! Yumm

I would go here for non perishables ONLY. The stores produce section is messy and just feels to warm to be right next to the dairy section. No one ever collects the carts here. I come here on occasion when I need something quick on the way home and every time the lot is so full of cart I have to park almost near the feeder to ensure carts wont hit my car. Once I went in and there was a huge bin of gatorade at the entrance and they were all exploding and leaking all over.

I had some extra time to kill between appointments, so I ran in to pick up a bottle of wine for my dinner appointment. Their selection is o-kay I suppose, but what is up with the cashiers? They lack personality and are SUPER slow at their job. It’s like they’re zombies programmed to scan food and take money. FAIL!

Your average small to medium sized Kroger. They keep it fairly clean, usually well-stocked and will usually add checkers if the lines are starting to get long.
