Well this place has a lot of potential from the looks of it, or it used to be a hoppin’ place. Unfortunately, it’s all bare bones now, probably due to the location. It’s right next to a truck stop, so I’m surprised that doesn’t bring in a lot of revenue. There’s a couple pool tables, and they have poker Wednesday nights. No tap system here, but they have ice cold domestic beers. There’s also no liquor here, but you can go to Ruby Tuesday or Logan’s Roadhouse for a fancy cocktail if you really want to. From what a trucker from the area told me, they’re getting ready to shut this place down at some time and build a parking lot. It’s a shame when places like this go under. The bartender was pretty friendly and the company was good.

If you’re interested in a nice cozy environment, good beer, and good people, this is not the place. Got stared down by the female employees the entire time, the bathrooms are one step up from a horror movie, they only have piss beer in bottles, their pool tables are dirty, and my favorite part was the pair of dirty socks in the corner that had been sitting there a few months. Obviously a place where owners don’t give a flying flip about customer experience. I’m all about southern dive bars but this was a dive off the grungy, filthy, judgmental deep end. Definitely won’t get my business ever again.
